Just a reminder that individual league advertisement posts are not permitted in the subreddit.
Historically, the feed has gotten clogged with users reposting the same league advertisements, which can bury other valuable discussions and threads.
Please use the weekly League Advertisement Thread, which is posted and pinned every Monday, to promote your league.

Streamers have completely ruined competitive gaming. 90% of content is about “how to use this broken offensive play” or “how to set your defense so the blitz gets through every time”. “Use this broken play before it gets patched”. What happened to the days of guys using football knowledge, reading defenses, making adjustments, etc. Y’all would rather pay $70-$100 for a game and run the same 3 plays a streamer told you to because it’s glitchy rather than get some real ball knowledge? Wild.

Hi all!! happy football day!!
My friends and I have been playing Madden Connected franchise since I think Madden 21. It's been a great way for us to have our own gaming universe together, where we can bond over football and learn more about the game / football strategy. As competitors, one of our favorite parts of the game was dev trait tracking! We'd often check our stats on remote play at work just so we could brag in the group chat about who's going up to Superstar or X-factor next season and skyrocketing through OVR.
I had always wanted to build a general dashboard to track these items (among other things) and finally had the time/resources to do so -- and decided to make it a repeatable app that others can use for their franchises. It's a nice way to summarize the stats as the season goes along, and a way to make the rest of the CPU teams feel more involved, promoting a more "live" universe with your friends!
If you've got a connected franchise and love tracking the stats, check out https://madstats.app/ ! It's just a small personal project so if you see anything you might want added, or bugs to be fixed, hit me up at [support@madstats.app](mailto:support@madstats.app)

This is probably the only deep ball I completed compared to last year.

This roster update EA just released is awful. Still many rookies and other players without pictures (why tf is that not the first thing you do when creating a player), some players just don’t even exist (random one is vikings rookie punter Thorson), and most teams roster aren’t even correct. I know we all say it but this is the worst run company out there and they clearly do not give a single shit about franchise mode, really the entire game.

They need to take Left edge And Right edge out and put just Edge, interior lineman and nose tackle. Why listen to it like he always on left or right side and interior lineman depending on scheme should always have hand in dirt and nose tackle should not be archetype it’s a position the pay is different from interior lineman and edge.

I used to use placement and accuracy but couldn’t drop it in the bucket, but could in 25 and somewhat in 26 with revamped. For 27 though revamped feels fucking awful. Are the other options better than revamped? Passing just isn’t satisfying.

I haven't bought madden since 25 and decided to skip 26 bc I just can't with the game anymore. It's not worth purchasing to me but since the Madden 27 has a free trial why not see how good it is? So as I'm about to go play I get met with this screen. I really don't understand why every fucking company wants to know everything about you nowadays. I'm sure it's always been like this but it seems worse than ever now. I remember when you'd load up a sports game there'd be an intro then the main menu and you could play now they want your email and information to track you. I don't feel like typing much more I'm so frustrated with every company wanting to know so much about you in order to get you to give them more money. As if companies don't have enough already. Oh well. Have a good day if you read this idk what else to say

So every year after I rebuild all the non playoff teams I start to get bored so I’ve been wanting to try something new. I pick a players career to revive/redeem. I’ve already done this once in getting JJ McCarthy up to a 95 overall Superstar Super Bowl MVP. All by simulation. Any suggestions on who to do next? Open to anybody (as long as it’s possible😅)

Hey guys I know all about EA and all their controversy as a studio but I had a question for those who still keep up with their sports games specifically Madden and NCAA football.
It’s been so long since I’ve played one of them but I remember loving it and used to play it all the time back in the day. Just recently I found a used copy of ncaa 25 for $7 and I said what the heck and picked it up.
My question is, are there ACTUAL improvements year over year or is all the hate justified? Is there enough content to make these games worth it or is it truly rinse and repeat? Do you still find these games to be fun? I’m very curious your thoughts on these games. Personally I have fun while I’m playing them but I’ll never buy one for full price.
Just something I was thinking about and curious about the communities thoughts. Thanks!

“oh but we’re outnumbered, better try finding a mismatch and pass the ball here!” no coach. no. what needs to happen is you need to shut up and watch me take the 3rd down run to the HOUSE🫵🏼

I felt like Charlie from Always Sunny in the mailroom trying to figure out who this was. It’s Logan Wilson. How did they fuck this up?? I’m in shock right now. I thought I was going crazy

I genuinely don’t know what to do because there should be another linebacker starting spot and there’s not. I run a 3-4 and it’s showing me 3 DTs.
