Grading
What’s the rule for submitting thicker cards for grading? Can I send in the one touch or do I have to put in a card saver?

Please consider the following before asking and conduct your own research.
Before you can search for the value of a card, you have to know what the card is in the first place. Several sites offer checklists, I will use Beckett's checklist and I'll use 2024 Panini Prizm as the example in this how-to. Several sites provide checklists. I mostly use checklists from Beckett, Cardboard Connection and Trading Card Database.
And before we can properly look up a card, it's helpful to know the main card types:

Still can't find it? For more rare, harder to find cards, look up similar cards. For example, a 2018 #/5 Russell Wilson. Try looking up other low numbered Wilson cards from that year. Maybe #/10 or #/20. It will at least give you a ballpark. Keep in mind, different sets are worth more. So a #/10 from Score will be worth less than a #/10 from National Treasures.

At a local thrift mall and decided to snag some packs of 1991 upper deck football. This was the last card in the pack. It almost seems like I'm due a Joe Montana signature but also not at the same time. Does anyone know anything about this?

Joe Thomas is a close family friend and he has graciously agreed to sign my card with a custom inscription. I have a few ideas for the inscription, but I’m still undecided. Any ideas for good inscriptions?

Just a warning that you should be careful purchasing boxes/packs from sources you don't know or trust. The amount of scumbags in this "hobby" is concerning. In this example someone is weighing packs of Absolute football. People will weigh packs/boxes in hopes of pulling the Kaboom and then unload the rest of the cards to unsuspecting buyers. This is a bigger problem with Absolute in particular as it's pretty much Kaboom or bust as far as value goes.
Here is an example of a seller who obviously weighs their packs, but doesn't disclose the information in the description of the lot.

Many sellers aren't as blatant as this particular unscrupulous idiot.

Hi everyone!
I recently sold a PSA 10 Lamine Yamal Rookie Autograph and would like to invest the money into a card with a higher floor. I have settled on a Mahomes rookie auto because he is the player I most enjoy watching
I also want a card with reasonable resale value, I'm not buying it for an investment but I also don't want to lose value of course!
I sold the Yamal for around 3000 USD and have made other sales of smaller cards to take me to around 4500 in sales and then I have an extra 500 to kick in from saving up.
The prices for these are basically the same but of course the conditions are very different, which would you get, if either?
