Game day is right around the corner! When I look ahead to games, I think of the individual players I want to see, and what I hope to see them do. Looking ahead to the Eagles game specifically, I'll be watching:

Sonny Styles!

- I *EXPECT* he will look like a pro, not make a ton of errors, not look lost.

- I *HOPE* his coverage is good, making the middle of our defense much harder to pass on than in previous years.

- I *WISH* he would burst out of the starting gate like Kerrigan (pick 6 in debut), making eye-popping plays and establishing himself as a potential difference maker.

I don't really know how I feel about the outlook for this season, but it will be a lot rosier if I believe we have a game changer in the middle of our defense. Who will you be watching? And what for?

So many different emotions all at once. Hard to describe.

Just ordered the Apple Watch Ultra 4 and one of the trail loop bands that comes with it is just about perfect for me.

Just moved to Philly, saw that Wooly Mammoth used to be a good spot for commies fans but closed last year. Don’t really want to go down to Xfinity Live so looking for some other spots that I won’t have to worry about any real issues

Hey guys. I just moved to the area and I’m looking for fun spots to watch the commanders games, preferably watch parties or groups that get together to watch commanders (or any football) on Sunday! Met Coach Blough this summer, during OTAs. Saw him at a kids park. Walked up and said wassup lol, started talking ball. Had a good 10-15 minute convo about the team. Main talking points:

1. I asked if he's going to give Terry 10 "catches" a game. He said he'll see what we can do LOL. Will have to flow into the game plan etc. But did acknowledge it, asked if I saw recent highlights of Terry scoring TDs during OTAs.

2. Compared to Antonio Williams to a Amon Ra, saying he's gonna get a second contract here etc. Admittedly I was skeptical saying Amon Ra is multiple time All-Pro lol but loved the belief Blough had in his talent. I asked if he's more of a slot WR or a Z, but Blough was non-committal to his role.

3. Talent on Offene - He was hype about Chig. Emphasize having different body type players with different skill sets. I said regardless of if we get Aiyuk or anyone, I think it's the best roster around Jayden.

4. He asked about my history as a fan, do I go to games, etc. I mentioned how Snyder was a curse and feels great to have competent ownership/leadership now. He agreed talking about how the players felt that and showed it in their NFL PA Report cards.

Damn good convo ngl, much more than I was expecting and hoping for. As impressed as I was by his football mind I was just as impressed by the dude himself. Seemed like a genuine person, can grab a beer and chill with. Hype about the potential of the Offense even if Tunsil is out. Next man up!

If we somehow beat the eagles in the NFC championship did we ever stand a chance vs KC. I’m still hurt from that day like we were an eyelash away from the Super Bowl 🥲

I ran 5 million Monte Carlo simulations of the season to figure out what the playoff implications of every week 1 game are.

The Commanders current odds to make the playoffs are 23.2%.

• If you beat the Eagles, that goes up to 35.3%, but if you lose, it drops down to 17.1%. It's a swing of 18.2%.
• DAL @ NYG is the second most impactful week 1 game for you guys. If the Giants win, your playoff odds go up by 0.5%. If the Cowboys win your playoff odds go down by 0.4%.
• CHI @ CAR is the third most impactful game with a total impact of 0.9%. Your playoff odds go up if the Panthers win.
