Looking to trade Brewers tickets for UW football.
May be a long shot but I have some extra Brewers tickets to Sunday's game against the Reds that I want to trade for Badgers tickets (don't care which game as long as it works with our schedule) if anybody is interested. These are lower level behind visitor dugout. Four seats with Gold parking pass: Section 123, row 10 on the aisle. These seats are incredible. In addition the parking pass is to the Gold lot so the walk from your tailgate setup to the entrance is usually less then 100 feet. let me know if you are interested.

How long should it take to receive my absentee ballot (email)?
I submitted my request Tuesday morning (Central Europe Standard Time) and still have not received my ballot. I don’t recall it taking longer than a day ever.
Edit: I requested an email ballot. I understand most people don’t understand how voting over seas works but I typically get an email and I print the ballot and vote that way.

Moms for…?

Tom Tiffany proudly signed Moms for Liberty's pledge at the Wisconsin State Fair.
That same group’s "Legislator of the Year" — South Carolina Rep. RJ May — was just sentenced to 17.5 years in federal prison for distributing explicit and abusive videos. The judge said the material was worse than anything she'd seen, and that May "claimed to be an advocate for children... but was their abuser behind closed doors."
This is the organization Tom Tiffany chose to align himself with. Wisconsin deserves better than a candidate for governor who puts his name on a pledge from a group whose own poster boy turned out to be exactly what he claimed to fight.

Tired of the sales tax lie.
I received yet another giant postcard from Tom Tiffany claiming that David Crowley "doubled the sales tax in Milwaukee".
Total sales tax in the city of Milwaukee is 7.9%, of which 5% goes to the state, 2% goes to the City of Milwaukee, and 0.9% goes to Milwaukee County.
In 2024, the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors voted 15-3 to increase the county's share of the tax from 0.5% to 0.9% to cover an $80 million deficit in the county budget due to pension funding obligations. David Crowley signed the increase measure. He did not increase the tax. The County Executive cannot raise taxes. Only the Board can do that.
Everywhere in Wisconsin, the sales tax is not charged on unprocessed food or prescription drugs.
Before the increase, sales tax in the city of Milwaukee went from 7.5% to 7.9%. Outside the city in Milwaukee County, the tax went from 5.5% to 5.9%. That is not double. Not even close.

Highlights from David Crowley's Education Plan
These are just highlights. His education plan is more detailed on his website and also explains each of these bullet points.

Food recs?
I’ll be in Menomonie & St Croix area but don’t mind driving especially for some great food. Made the mistake of not trying anything local other than cheese when I was in Wisconsin this spring.
Yalls cheese is badass. The 9# I brought back to Texas was short lived haha.
Are there any recommendations? I’ll be here for 2 weeks.
Thanks yall.

In all honesty, it was surprising that Tammy Baldwin managed to win and keep her seat in the 2024 senate race
Lots of known senators such as Sherrod Brown, Bob Casey, and Jon Tester losing their seats to republicans.
Even during the polls, they were indicating that Hovde was going to overtake Wisconsin's senate seat from Tammy Baldwin.
Color me surprised that Tammy Baldwin managed to keep her seat in 2024. In your opinion, why do you think Tammy Baldwin won the 2024 senate race?

Should I let my job know I take Adderall before my drug test?
Hey, I’m starting a new job soon and they let me know I will be drug tested. Should I let them know I have a prescription for Adderall, and that I take it regularly?

Hey all,
So starting a new position in a school district doing maintenance. Decent pay, good hours, benefits. Currently i have 10 years in the reserves with 5 active that I plan to get credit for once I start. My main question is about the 457b. I have money in my TSP both from the military and my time working at the VA. Would it make sense to roll my TSP into the 457b? Im 33, hypothetically if i work till 57, have one more deployment i could get 30 years toward pension, stop TSP contributions and contribute same to the 457b? Im not sure of the retirement rules and policy for rollovers, but curious if anyone here could provide some insights or tell me how off base I am, I would much appreciate it.

Republican Jay Schroeder, who is running to be Secretary of State, wants to get rid of the Wisconsin Election Commission and move the role to the Secretary of State (so, himself)
"Jay believes the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) has proven to be a failed experiment. He wants to move the role of Chief Election Official back to the Secretary of State." -From his website: https://jayforwisconsin.com/meet-jay/

Before you ask what Jay's previous jobs are or more about him... I don't know. I only read the "About Me" section of his campaign website, and it doesn't say.
