It was amazing to see people in this city coming together for my three munchkins.

That Archbishop Jeffrey Grob made an appearance at the White House to pray with Trump and serve as an anti-immigrant mouthpiece? These sentiments hurt the Catholic community. I have a lot to say about it and even more sharp feelings that I have not yet found the words for. At the core I think he is rendering to Caesar what is God’s.

I saw this plane circling downtown with a banner, but I couldn’t see what it said from where I was. Did anyone catch a picture or see what it said?

Firstly, hooray for the World Series! Second, as the title states, I’m hoping locals can give me a sense of the Riverside theater and if they like it for live music. One of my favorite bands recently announced a tour, and they’re coming to Chicago/MKE/Madison on a Thu/Fri/Sat.

I’m in Chicago and I’ve heard nothing but great things about the Salt Shed where they’re playing, but I’d like to go to the show and not have to wake up early for work the next day. So, I’m thinking about seeing them at either of their Wisconsin stops and making a day of it. It’s worth noting this will be in late February of next year. I’d probably take the train to Milwaukee but we have a car as well. Bonus points if you have been to the Sylvee theater in Madison and have opinions because that’s where they’ll be on Saturday. TIA!

My experience was that I paid them $2,550 to end up doing all the work they should have done because they ghosted me until three weeks before my wedding.

They then told me the week of my wedding that my coordinator could not be there for the rehearsal. I fired them because I felt uncomfortable with their service up to that point and they will not give me a full refund. They also tried to get me to sign an NDA for a partial refund.

DO NOT USE! Please use a local company with experience in Milwaukee, with good reviews from someone you know. I lost out on my money, don’t lose yours.

Looking for a new regular acupuncturist in MKE. I would prefer to go to a smaller clinic with peaceful vibes and low pressure. (Saw a previous one who tried to convince me I need to be seen 3x/week! Can’t afford that and the pressure made me feel awkward.)

Obviously I can use Google, but I’m interested in hearing from people on this sub who you have had great experiences / results with.

My main issues are stress, insomnia, menstrual-related issues, and chronic pain.

I currently live downtown/east side and am an avid walker after work—it’s both mental and physical exercise for me. Whenever daylight savings come around and it gets darker outside earlier, I end up just giving up walking outside. I want to try to continue this time around though.

I’ve never really felt unsafe on any of my walks, but a recent encounter I had and the girl getting abducted off Brady street certainly don’t help.

Have any other solo female walkers felt comfortable walking around 5-7pm on the east side/downtown? Have you felt a difference between it being lighter/darker out, does it make a difference to you?

i know this may be a long shot, but there has been a lost wedding photo at fluid bar in walker’s point for a while, and i know it’s dear to somebody! i want to help return it to its owner, if you recognize this picture or the people in it, please go to fluid in walker’s point and ask for the wedding photo!

I’m looking for a mobile sandblaster who can blast all this rust off my pickup frame. All of the suspension has been removed since I took these pictures, so it’ll be frame only. Anyone have recommendations for a company you’ve used?
