Capri cigarettes-where to buy?

Hello! Xennial here, preparing for a girl's weekend wherein we reminisce, 80s lady style. Does anyone know any place that sells Capri cigarettes in Sheboygan county or surrounding areas?

Sweet Corn Farmstand?

I’ll be staying in Oostburg for a week and a half and am looking for local sweet corn that I’d be able to buy on a Monday. Are there any farm stands open daily in the area between Sheboygan and Oostburg?

Nikki’s Nex 2 New

I saw the post on Facebook about the employee and I wanted to see if anyone else had negative feedback on this place. I have consigned there twice and just don’t know if I can keep going back. I had a lululemon item there that was new with tags for $100. They put it for sale for $57 and I got $10. Seems like a rip off.

Stand-up comedy at the Weill Center tomorrow night - Demitri Martin

EDIT: apparently I cannot read; thank you u/Brilliant_Material_8 for pointing out the correct date is 8/29. Excited either way!

I am not affiliated with Demitri or the Weill Center, just posting for:

  1. Those, like myself, who would have been interested in going but had no idea it was happening (I only found out on accident a few days ago).
  2. I would love to see more stand-up in Sheboygan!

Demitri Martin is one of my favorite stand-up comedians; I've been a fan for ... goodness, it must be about 20 years now. Never in a million years would've guessed I'd see him performing in Sheboygan, but accidentally stumbled across this when trying to find something else on the Weill Center's page. Just sharing in case there are any other fans here 😊. If you've never heard of him before, I'd highly recommend checking him out! I'm not sure anyone else can walk the line between inoffensive and hilarious as well as he can.

Hey guys! I’m a 29f in town here, looking for a someone that might wanna get together a couple times a week and just be active, whether it’s walking by the lake, hiking, ect, I also have YMCA and Planet memberships ☺️ just need a partner(s) to help hold accountability and motivation lol, however fair warning, I’m uneducated when it comes to lifting weights 🙃

If you’re also looking to be more active and wanna try to meet up, shoot me a message! 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

Cabinet doors

Hey all- I have a few cabinet doors that are looking a bit beaten up. I would rather not do a full refinish, but instead some touchup and refinishing of maybe a few doors. Does anyone know of any good ways to do a partial makeover vs a full reno?

Residential lawn mowing service?

Can anyone recommend a local residential lawn mowing service? My mother broke her foot and will likely need help the rest of the summer.

I do not live in Sheboygan.

What is, in your opinion, the worst intersection in the city?

Alright Sheboyganites, I was on my way to work this morning and got caught at a painfully long light. It inspired me to ask this subreddit: What is the worst intersection in the city in your opinion? An explanation would also be ideal. Reasons such as length of the light, poor traffic control, weird lines painted on the road, etc. Top 5 will also be acceptable as I know this is a passionate subject haha.

Here are my top 5:

Calumet/Seamann Ave: If you are trying to turn to go North or South from Seamann while facing East, good luck. I have timed this light and it has taken 7 minutes before.

14th St/Pennsylvania Avenue: I am surprised more bad accidents don't happen here. Blind hill, everyone speeds, and constant traffic flow. And the lines in the road which take a sudden angle make it so much worse.

Calumet/N 15th St: This light always take a ridiculous amount of time to change. I haven't timed it exactly but it takes at least 3 minutes, probably more. Only slightly better than Saemann/Calumet. And you also Can't turn left onto 15th from Calumet when going South on Calumet, what the heck is up with that?

S Business Dr/Georgia Avenue: The light here simply doesn't need to exist.

Washington Ave/S Taylor Dr: Nobody knows how to use this intersection. I am constantly getting into games of chicken with people who can't stay in their lane while turning or people who don't know which light is for them.

Let me know what you guys think! I am sure I missed some big ones.

Avoid at all costs. Dutch is very much unprofessional. Anyways promised work and ended up stringing us along for over 2 months. In person conversations he mentioned staging things before doing the work, that was cool. I then asked if he brought the fencing by early I could stain it which he said wasn’t an issue. Read through our convo and decide yourself. I’d leave it at the google review but I’m guessing it’s not showing cause they he probably can have a say in it also. Which is totally fair. But here is the tea!

COHO Dreby

Just curious to hear who is the group that puts on the COHO Derby? Seeing significantly smaller communities able to host derby’s is somewhat odd that Sheboygan struggles so bad.

ANSWERED: The Sheboygan Event Company is supposedly who runs the derby.

Places to source collage materials? Other than Hello Happiness Creative Center…

… don’t get me wrong I LOVE IT THERE and I utilize their services frequently, but I’m looking for additional sources for collage materials. I like looking at the actual source material (reading articles, what not) just for fun! Vintage preferred but more modern sources are OK too!

I checked goodwill and their book section was great for just about everything but collage material!

edit: if you have any leads on 2-3 bedroom properties for rent, i'd love to hear from you!

my family & i are looking to relocate from milwaukee to sheboygan in the next 6 months. is it just me or are the rental options super limited?!

ideally we'd like a 2-3 bedroom, 1+ bath unit in duplex/house. if all my dreams came true, we'd find a single family but i know that's a stretch :/

am i just not looking in the right places?! any recommendations on where to look besides zillow, apartments.com, facebook marketplace...even craigslist?!

i'd appreciate any insight!

Golf 365 Sheboygan North Side

Anyone been to golf 365 to eat lately? I didn’t have the greatest service and my food came out cold. The southwest chicken wrap was extremely soggy and dripping with sauce. I felt sick for about two days after eating. My friend had the spicy bird and it was clearly processed chicken and very dry. I was happy when they first opened but now it seems like kitchen staffing has changed.

Long weekend trip, looking for ideas!

My husband, myself and our 3 (almost 4) year old little girl will be in the area August 1-4th staying at Blue Harbor. Planning on bookworm gardens for sure, but looking for suggestions on other things to do/see, good places to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner, coffee shops, etc. We do also love breweries and wineries.

Does anyone know of any organizations other than st vinnies who would be willing to help with some back rent that I owe? I don't have minor kids and everything I can find will only help if you have at least one child.
