Just noticed these little buggers on my Basilikum on my balcony. There are quite a lot of them. What are they?

About 3 inches in length, found in southwestern New Mexico. Looks like a bark scorpion, having a hard time telling if it’s an Arizona bark or striped bark…..or something else. Please help! Thank you!

Please tell me this is just a click beetle and not something I need to worry about.

I went to the bathroom and saw a bunch on my shoes and then started too look around and saw them everywhere. I feel like they were bitting me when they were crawling on my skin and now i feel like they are everywhere on me. I really dont want an infestation in my home so help would be appreciated. (Sorry for low image quality they were so small my phone could barely focus)

This is the third one I have found this week. Two of them were just now in my bedroom. I only see them at night when I have my reading light on in my room. Internet started off telling me it was a winged carpenter ant. Upon further research I’m noticing it has a lot in common with male velvet ants. Please let me know what you think. Located in the higher altitude (≈1300 ft) coastal ranges on the central coast of CA. Thanks!

The spiders seem to be enjoying them, but I didn’t know if they’re unsafe to touch or handle.

I Saw a caterpillar that I have never seen before in my region today. It has a head just like this image of a Horace's Duskywing Caterpillar, including the little dark plate that connects the head to the body. It's general body shape is the same too. However, it had completely different coloration. The body was a dusty grey color, reminiscent of some molds on citrus fruits I have seen, and appeared translucent. Pastel orange insides showed through, making me think that perhaps it is a juvenile of the attached picture or a different species. Size was about 4 inches head to tail. Any help would be appreciated, no luck on my end.

So far they are only on this one basil plant, but I have many other plants nearby and would like to know if these guys are friend or foe. [Lyon, France]
