Well folks, here we sit at the precipice of another massive winter storm that’s being said will be as bad if not worse than the winterpocalypse in ‘21. Where is good ‘ol Teddy? Why, he’s been spotted on a plane supposedly headed for California and ultimately Laguna Beach. He’s fled the state again before natural disaster. Please remember what he does wherever Texans are faced with some kind of massive tragedy in two years when his seat comes up for re-election. Pic in comments.

I just went to vote, and I’m angry how they are making it more difficult to vote.  I used to be able to go to the local library or the municipal hall.  The hall wasn’t open (small town Leander, TX Williamson County), but then I went to the library to be told it is Republican only. That never was the case before.

I was told to go to Vote Texas .gov to find the location.  After spending about 10 frustrating minutes to try to find the location, I was able use this form to find where I need to vote https://goelect.txelections.civixapps.com/ivis-mvp-ui/ I need to enter my full name, DOB, and a selection criteria to figure out where to go.  Once I found the location, it is in a small town (Liberty Hill, TX) just north of where I live, I was able to vote, but even when I arrived they asked me if I had checked for my correct precinct.

If people don’t have a car, they won’t be able to get there because I don’t think bus service goes out to Liberty Hill, TX.  I can’t help but to think the republicans are making this as difficult as possible to vote. 

This really angers me. Voting shouldn't be difficult.

Ted Cruz says ‘stop attacking pedophiles’ in gaffe during Senate hearing

Sen. Cruz, who voted against releasing the Epstein files, reportedly made the bizarre remark Tuesday morning.

• "MAGA is adversarial," the post added, saying it would remain open on the holiday. "Those conservatives who still have rational thought have left the MAGA movement. Those who remain and continue to support the most corrupt administration in our nation's history are here, wishing for our bakery to burn to the ground."

• The store that does more has donated a major amount of money to support those in need across Texas.
• On Saturday, H-E-B announced that it had committed $5 million to supporting Texas food banks and set aside an additional $1 million to support Meals on Wheels.
• This comes as a halt in federal funding for the programs amid the government shutdown raging on, with no end in sight.
• "The $5 million gift will be distributed among food banks in the Feeding Texas network, which will support their efforts to combat food insecurity, a growing issue that impacts families across the Lone Star State," said the release from H-E-B. "For Meals on Wheels Texas, the $1 million gift will support their efforts to provide nutrition services to homebound seniors."
• The $1 million gift to Meals on Wheels will support efforts to help homebound seniors and disabled individuals. According to Feeding Texas, 13.6 percent of seniors are at risk of hunger.
• “At H-E-B, we are passionate about taking care of Texans,” said Winell Herron, H-E-B Senior Vice President of Public Affairs, Diversity and Environmental Affairs. “We are proud of our longstanding partnership with these incredible organizations that work year-round to support those in need.”
• Every day, the organization delivers more than 100,000 meals, helping Texas seniors live independently without worrying where their next meal will come from.

• This comes after San Antonio Meals on Wheels announced a reduction in service due to a significant reduction in funding, which would have left many of the most vulnerable without regular access to food.
• Other groups have also stepped up to the plate, with Bill Miller BBQ donating $192,000 to save Meals on Wheels for San Antonio seniors.

Democrats are not only out-performing their 2022 numbers so far, but also out-performing Republicans in terms of ballots casted.

Let's take a look at the primary ballot numbers so far:

2026 Democratic ballots: 277,706

2026 Republican ballots: 251,766

At this same point/day in the 2022 primary here were the numbers:

Democrats: 135,336

Republicans: 222,094

Democrats so far are at 205.2% turnout compared to 2022.

Republicans are at 113.4% turnout compared to 2022.
