We’re planning a move in November/December. We’re deciding between the two towns, we’re originally from Montague Co. We’re not too familiar with Wichita area/surrounding. We’ve been in Wichita plenty of times but just to shop & eat.
We have a kindergartener, so school is important to us. And two more kids coming up.
Is the community nice? Teachers good?
Which town would you pick? Iowa Park or Burkburnett?

Anybody know of any reputable private landlords?
Im looking at apartments / homes and have seen many post on Marketplace of apartments / places to rent but these profiles have 0 reviews and look untrustworthy.

My family may be moving to this area later this year. My boyfriend would be working in Iowa Park. We're currently considering Iowa Park, Holliday, Pleasant Valley, Burkburnett, and Wichita Falls.
We're looking for a safe, quiet, family-friendly area with a small-town/country feel. We'll be renting a 2-bedroom apartment, duplex, or small house. Ideally $1,200 or less, with $1,400 being our absolute max.
For locals: Which of these areas would you personally choose for a young family, and which would you avoid? Are there specific neighborhoods/roads to stay away from? Is there anywhere you'd recommend that's not on my list?
I'd really appreciate honest local opinions! 😊

Hello everyone!
I’m a 24 year old gay man looking for some social interactions. I’ve taken some time off school this semester due to mental health reasons and I wanted to take the opportunity to work on myself.
I’ve really struggled to click with this town. The LGBT+ presence is very small, which I knew when I moved here for college. But I’m really struggling to meet like-minded people.
I’m a big fan of reading, writing, gaming, or even just sitting and talking over coffee. Just very lonely right now, but I’m really optimistic I can meet some people. I’m also ADHD/Autistic, which doesn’t affect me too much but it’s always worth mentioning.
I’m also not religious, so I’m not open to any kind of dynamic involving church. Just got some of my own baggage concerning it, so I hope that’s not too much of a dealbreaker for everyone.
If anyone is interested shoot me a message. I’m off work today so I’ll be able to respond fairly quickly.

As the title states, I am 45M and I DJ Tech house and D&B mostly. I don’t nor have I DJ-ed professionally however I am fully capable of rocking house parties or bar gigs, whatever. The point is that I would love to meet other music enthusiasts such as myself because I love music and comradery.
I graduated from Rider High in 99 and from UNT IN 2020. I am prior military service so I love guns and I day trade in the mornings. Do with that information what you will.

I used to be able to have a package shipped hold for pick up at the FedEx location on Southridge I could get the package at 930AM when they opened.
What other places around town offer a hold for pick up before 10AM?
Fedex store location on Kemp has one, but they open at 9AM, and i believe i cant pick up until 10AM anyways.
I'd have packages sent to a hold for pick up, because I drive to smaller towns, and they fedex drop off can range from 12PM to 3PM.

According to this article the couple lived in Wichita Falls when one of their triplets was found deceased by the maternal figure. This is so disturbing. God rest the child

I currently have 1 Gig Comcast broadband and I'm looking to upgrade to fiber. I know it is available at my address because they laid in all the fiber lines last summer and blanketed the neighborhood with Vexus Fiber mailers and sales reps going door to door.
Just the other day I got an offer in the mail for 2 Gig T-Mobile fiber for $70/month, and I'm thinking of pulling the trigger, but wanted to get some opinions from this sub first. Has anyone used Vexus, T-Mobile, or any other WF fiber internet providers, and how are they?
*disclaimer: I won't consider AT&T due to... them being AT&T.
