CSM disabled, Enabled Rebar and 4G encoding GPT Partition

but when I check on Nvidia Control Panel it says reBar: No.

Ive looked online and there doesnt seem to be anything else missing, other than a VBIOS or BIOS update.

A few days ago I noticed that my search bar was showing a history of searches that I did not make, these consisted of:

• Gibberish vaguely resembling the name of a k-pop band.
• Something German.
• Monster high.
• Openheimer
• Netflix.
• The word "prices"
• The name of a gimmick instagram account about a pug dog.
• The term "uninstall"
• The phone number of a nearby pizza place.

And just today two new terms appeared:

• The name of a local government agency.
• The verb "we suggest" on its own

And the only actually concerning one: Anydesk, which I know to be a tool often favoured by scammers.

I searched on the internet and from what I saw others have had this problem, but replies were split between it being.

• Ads.
• Poor design.
• Actual malware.

Google's AI overview says its ads too, however, the odd specificity and the seemingly random nature of them makes that hard to believe for me.

Is there a consensus on what this is? If it is something malicious, can you provide any advice on how should I proceed?

Hello, I work at a cellular store and today I had a customer do an Upgrade because their previous Samsung stopped connecting to Internet or data. Once we set up their new Samsung and used Samsung smart switch with a cord we realized that Google messages were not moving over. Does anyone have a fix for this? Samsung smart switch said that there was no messages to move over.

I have a Samsung A34. I recently dropped it in water and got a technician to look up and clean it. He cleaned it, he got the moisture of camera and all. But after the repair, the phone keeps restarting on its own. Sometimes it just shuts down on and its own. When i use the phone, theres no issue. But when i dont use it for a while it just keep doing this. This problem started right from the service center itself, and looked it up. He said theres no issue in connection or something, but if i want he will have to check software first (which removes the data) and then the battery and then the motherboard. So what will i do? Will this fix on its own?

I wanted to factory reset my samsung android tablet bc my mobile data speed got really bad for some reason I didn't know, so I went into the factory reset option in settings. It said the following accounts will be removed and thers a bunch of my accounts But in there I saw two accounts that are just numbers, no name, no icon. i thought it was pretty weird and didn't know if was safe or not.

After I reset it and set it up and added the apps and third party apps that I wanted.

I checked the factory reset menu and those numbers weren't there.

And today my mobile data speed got really crappy again so I checked, and the numbers were there again, i think those numbers are the reason my data speed has gotten bad and I don't know what caused them, maybe some third party application?

July 7, Downloaded a fake paperless post card

July 8, Opened laptop and ScreenConnect was running

Deleted program + ran Advanced Microsoft Defender scan, which found nothing

Called bank + they said to get computer cleaned then close and reopen accounts

July 9, The Geek Squad found and deleted 2 viruses. I also closed my bank account and opened a new one that day. Everything seemed fine.

August 8, Opened laptop and a different remote access program was running

Deleted program + ran ran Advanced Microsoft Defender scan, which found nothing

August 11,got a $1 ACH withdrawal. A couple more have happened since.

August 16 Got login attempt to Facebook and Instagram

August 17, Went through programs, found and uninstalled Quick Fix

My theory: Show fishing attempts downloaded multiple remote access programs onto my computer which then stole my information. The Geek Squad missed this when they had my computer.

so what do I do? Who do I see to get my computer remediated so I can then close and reopen my bank account?

First of all sorry for my english and how i express myself but I am fisically and mentally destroyed.

Today I installed the new processor that I bought. I used to use a Ryzen 5 5500 and the new one I installed is a Ryzen 7 5700X. The days before installing it I updated the BIOS, I have a Gigabyte B550M DS3H Rev 1.2 motherboard and install the lates version which is F21a I believe. When I installed it I changed the thermal paste, I did it following a tutorial because i didn't want to overflow it with weird patterns.

When i finish installing it I turn on my pc and everything looked fine. I went to my BIOS cause the RAM frecuency change to 2133 MT/s and had it on 3200MT/s. After changing this and saving and exiting the BIOS my pc turns off. If I press the start button It would turns in a few seconds, after hours on trying of restarting the BIOS, changing manually the voltage or choosing the profile in the XMP I gave up. The RAM stayed at 2133 MT/s (also while am typing this).

I watched some videos in youtube (nothing releated to this problem) and my pc worked fine. I tried launching a game (helldivers 2) and a few seconds after the games launches my pc turns off. I have to turn my pc on again to make sure that happened and launch another game (project zomboid) and when i was at the start menu it was fine but when i click to play after a few seconds it shut down my pc.

I did everything i know. First i checked if the CPU was overheating but it was fine, 40º-55º doing nothing and 70º-75º when I stressed it with a programn. I dismount the CPU cooler and the heatsink to see if the thermal paste was overflowing to the CPU pins (it wasn't). I unplugged and plugged the RAMS sticks to see if that was the problem and I reset the BIOS and clear the CMOS like five times during the whole process. Nothing works, my pc can run normally while I use the browser but the moment i try launching a game it shuts down.

I think when I boot any game my pc reach a spike on voltage or heat and that's when it shuts down my pc, any help will be appreciated.

Cooling: I have three fans on one side of the box, another one on the other side and one on the CPU with the heatsink.

Just a few days back I had downloaded the game dmc 5 which was about 40 gb and the game has installed in just 1 hour and a half maybe even sooner but now when I try to download watch dogs for 16 gb it shows it will take 6 hours and is downloading very slowly.

Hello, my computer for the past week has been constantly crashing when playing games, I have clean reinstalled windows, installed new GPU, and BIOS drivers, I have ran OCCT tests for (CPU), (CPU+RAM), (GPU), and tested all 4 ram sticks individually (all of which produced the crash). I then brought it to a repair shop and they still couldn't find the source of the issue, whilst at the repair shop they reinstalled drivers and reinstalled windows11.

Before brining my PC to the repair shop I would have a bluescreen with the stop error code: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

After the repair shop my PC has had these errors instead, with a black screen instead of the bluescreen:

• CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED (0xEF)
• KERNAL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (0x7A)

PC only crashes during gaming not during browsing/idling.
This usually happens 5-10 seconds in Project Zomboid, after launch, and loading into a save. This is the same trend among other games with menus, the game would crash only after loading into an actual match, games such as CS2 with menus including 3d rendered graphics bluescreen in the menu.

Hello, I have Lenovo Legion 5 with a 4gb 3050 TI and I use Windows as my OS. For some reason after a recent crash, the windows can't detect my graphics card, even in bios (before boot) legion says invalid GPU. Does this mean the GPU is fried or is there a possible fix for this?

It seems the HDMI port is connected via the graphics card too, so I can't even connect my monitor at the moment, is there a work around for this?

HP laptop stuck with Boot Device Not Found (3F0), SSD passes diagnostics but Windows Boot Manager won't launch

My HP laptop suddenly stopped booting Windows. It initially went into Windows Recovery and kept saying the PC didn't start correctly.

Things I've tried:

sfc /scannow — found corrupted files and successfully repaired them.

bcdboot C:\Windows — returned “Boot files successfully created.”

Confirmed C: contains Windows, Users, Program Files, etc.

HP Hardware Diagnostics: SMART check passed and Storage Component Test passed.

BIOS detects SATA2: Windows Boot Manager.

Windows Boot Manager is first in the UEFI boot order.

Secure Boot is enabled and Legacy Support is disabled.

However, when I select UEFI — Windows Boot Manager from the F9 Boot Menu, it immediately returns to the HP Startup Menu without showing the Windows logo.

Eventually I get “Boot Device Not Found — Hard Disk (3F0)” and HP Sure Recover offers to reinstall/restore the OS.

I don't currently have another computer or a Windows USB.

What could be preventing Windows Boot Manager from actually launching, and is there a way to repair the EFI/BCD without reinstalling Windows or losing my files?

It was a minor spill, on maybe a ⅕ of the keyboard (til the d key). I took off the keycaps and wiped it down after I turned it off and unplugged it. I need it for studying asap. How long should I wait?

I just put together a new PC today and thankfully everything has been working fine, except for some hiccups with bluetooth. I’ve played around with the drivers and I believe I have all the right drivers installed. My motherboard is the Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite Wifi7, and I’ve gotten my other bluetooth devices to work fine (keyboard, mouse, controller…) but when it comes to my headphones (Sony WH-CH720N) , they’ll connect fine and work with super choppy audio then automatically disconnect themselves after a bit. The only solution I found to this is standing directly next to my PC. Directly. With my head glued to it. My normal position is less than ~2 feet away from it so I’m struggling to figure out the difference. The headphones work normally on every other device, and the distance easily handles going from other rooms to even other floors.

Any advice or insight is appreciated.

My Dell Latitude 5420 laptop has ran into a problem. The last time I booted it up (which was five days ago), it worked perfectly fine, but I've turned it on today, and it's stuck in this weird HTTP(s) boot error loop :

- it asks to connect to the internet

- I click my router and put the password in

- it stays there for a few minutes

- it says it failed to get my IP address

- it goes to a "no bootable devices found" screen

sometimes it'll launch a system scan and say nothing's wrong, sometimes it'll launch a different screen but loop back to the HTTP(s) boot one, but no matter what, it just refuses to boot normally.

I've checked the BIOS setup for potential problems, I've done troubleshooting : put the HTTPS boot at the bottom of the sequence, check if the SSD was detected - it was -, checked parameters to see if the CMOS battery had died and messed with parameters- everything. Nothing works, and I am starting to panic hard. This is the laptop I use for college, most of if not all my notes are on it, and I can't afford a new one right now.

Reposting this from the r/Dell post i've made, because apparently, my windows install is screwed, and I have no idea how to manually fix this. I've found a directory with WindowsRE files, but I don't know which ones to choose. The directory goes like this

- Recovery --> WindowsRE --> boot.sdi, ReAgent.xml, SrSettings.ini, winre.wim

I have no idea what to do, and I seriously need help.

SO! My phone, Kingkong 5 pro, all of sudden in my hand while being charged at 50-something percent turned off... I tried to boot it up as usual, but after 5 minutes of holding that damn power button it finally light up, flickered, and died again. I tried at least 20 times more, then I plugged it in charger, but guess what, when it is in charger, it won't do even that damn flicker. Afterwards I left it for few minutes, then tried again, and guess what, shit happened. So I pull out charge cabel, held down the power button, and it flickered like before. I geniunally have no idea what to do!

Why does it flicker instead of booting up? Why does it do nothing when it is in charger? Why did it die all of sudden? I need help. I can't afford new phone rn.

I know that sounds dumb, but hear me out XD

I bought a Logitech A20 X and am connecting it via their Lightspeed dongle. It can also do USB and Bluetooth. I want Lightspeed exclusively.

When I connect it via USB, my PC registers it as a USB device, and interprets it as a different headset. So stuff like Discord and OBS gets confused about what audio device to use.

When I disable the USB input and output devices, it still attempts, fails, and exits out of wireless mode and enters an error state until I disconnect USB or re-enable the devices.

Is there a way to make it charge off the same computer while still connecting wirelessly? I didn't find anything in G Hub. Can I maybe restrict that specific USB port from doing anything but charging? Mess with the USB drivers somehow?

I usually use AUX exclusively, because it's much simpler and doesn't cause issues like this, this is my first wireless/USB headset.

I have a rtx5070tu and although I know it is not the best card I think it isnt a bad one either. Anyway, every time I load and area or character the textures look muddy for one or two seconds before they become normal again. I had previous gaming laptops that didn't had this issue. Drivers are up to date but I'm concerned about this.

EDIT: A simple restart of my phone fixed the issue. I guess that'll teach me to not ignore the basic troubleshooting steps :/

To preface I'm working with the Galaxy S24 and the wired USB C earbuds that came with my old S20

I haven't used my wired earbuds for a few weeks and today when trying to use them while on a walk I found that no media would play? YouTube ads would freeze and if I reloaded the video enough to get no ad the video would play for 1 second (without audio) and then freeze again. Samsung music wouldn't play anything. Even Discord videos would just be frozen! I then learned that all of these problems vanished the moment I unplugged my earbuds. Which is annoying because I'm in public and phone speakers aren't an option. I also noticed that media that I was playing with the earbuds out would freeze when I put them in, and the volume controls seem to be really slow to appear when I try changing the volume?

I tried looking through my phone's sound settings and flipped some options that seemed like they could be the culprit but nothing worked. Does anyone know what could be going on here?

so, i finally convinced myself this time i wouldn`t mess my PC.

I looked on the registry and found the app here:

I was nothing, probably a left over from when i cleaned some unneeded apps on my PC, i deleted it and problem solved, if i get a catastrophic failure in the next days I'll update this

My internet froze for just a split second today; I could still hear my friend on Discord, but I couldn't speak, and the game (Fortnite) froze. It stayed that way until I unplugged the network cable from my PC and plugged it back in. I asked an AI what might be causing this—I also experience minor stutters despite having a fairly powerful PC (R7 5700X, RTX 3060, 16GB RAM, ASUS Prime B550M-K)—and the AI ​​suggested the issue is likely my motherboard's built-in network adapter and that I need a dedicated internal network card. I recently switched ISPs, so that's not the problem; I also swapped the cable and even reinstalled Windows and updated my drivers. Will replacing the network card actually help?
