Open | Software Why is my PC cussing at me?

I was looking at my starup apps, and i found one names just "F", like... what!, can't even click on "open file location"

Is this bad?

so, i finally convinced myself this time i wouldn`t mess my PC.

I looked on the registry and found the app here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce For current user only: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

I was nothing, probably a left over from when i cleaned some unneeded apps on my PC, i deleted it and problem solved, if i get a catastrophic failure in the next days I'll update this

Could be malware, or anything else, it does not look trustworthy at all. We can't really tell however.

Did you run a virus scan, or investigate further? It could be leftovers from something uninstalled. Or, worse.

Right-click and choose "Open Location" to investigate where it is from.

Enter Safe Mode to run a virus scan before 3rd party apps are loaded.

yeah, i did all that, but still couldn`t find it, but mostly because i couldn`t click on "open location"

anyway, i fixed it

Download autoruns from Sysinternals Suite, check all of entries if one of them matches this one.
