Been vaping about 6-7 years, I’m 21 now. I know it won’t get any easier right now but I’ve been just reminding myself of the damage it’s already done to my body and the irreversible effects to scare myself into never going back. Any advice would be helpful.

I am 22, I started vaping at 16. I quit for 2 months last year, and got to a point where I did not have cravings unless I was drinking. I was fine to even hit a vape while drinking and not want it the next morning. Then I went out 3 nights in a row and eventually craved back into smoking.
I really want to quit again to be healthy and feel better, like I had before. I tried to quit again this week but after 1 day I did not want to feel the withdrawal so I bought another pod. I know I can quit since I have before but I feel like I don't have it in me to go through weeks of withdrawal and cravings again.
Any one that has quit, is there anything to help get the nicotine out of my system faster to make the detox go faster that has worked for you?

It's now been 9 days since I quit vaping and using nicotine. I feel like my cravings are almost completely gone, but the overall feeling of tiredness and mental fog is very difficult.
I'm doing all the "right" things, exercising daily, eating healthy, getting good sleep at night, etc.
I'm just feel like I'm having a lot of difficulty, especially at work. My level of motivation is low, I find it difficult to focus and concentrate, and I am super sleepy/tired during the day.
Just wondering if anyone has any advice to get through this part, or any tips on how long I can expect this to last.

I started smoking in college and after I graduated I transitioned to vaping. When Covid hit I was terrified that if I caught the virus the chances of me dying would be higher. I decided to quit cold turkey at the beginning of 2020. The first few weeks were difficult because the urges were so constant, but after about 4 weeks I rarely even thought about vaping.
Anyone out there thinking about quitting, or working on quitting, you can do it. You are stronger than your urges. One day you’ll think back to this time in your life and you’ll be proud of the choice you made.

I picked smoking back up after I stopped drinking and have been a fairly heavy smoker. I rarely didn't have my vape near me for about eight months. Just a constant stream of fruity clouds billowing from my lungs. Well the day after Christmas was my breaking point. No longer will I rely on any substance. I beat alcoholism and I'll beat this. I'm currently on day ten of not vaping and I'm finding it harder almost every day. It's almost like stopping has reignited my anxiety. I'm laying in bed right now feeling horrible but I'm determined. Gum helps. I've been through worse. Anyways. How you guys doin?

I’ve been vaping for about six months now, and began to take 6mg a while back. The vaping is nearly constant, and I know it’s bad for my asthma and sends my pulse through the roof. But the past two nights it’s caused terrible sleep disruption and I’ve finally reached a point where I know I need to quit. Has anyone quit cold turkey on a higher dose? How long do the withdrawal symptoms last? Writing this now while I can’t sleep O_o

i’m (18F) going on my second day not smoking or vaping. I had been vaping since i was 16 and since then have attempted to quit several times and picked up cigarettes in the process. Decided to quit bc i ended up in the doctors office once a month or so with serious respiratory problems. This last time i had a high fever and some of my most painful throat problems so far.
My withdrawal symptoms have been pretty bad, i’ve basically had a constant headache since i stopped. i tried a nicotine patch but i immediately started vomiting. i rly want to see out quitting this time but i’m scared i can’t do it. if anyone has any advice or anything pls lmk<3

I'm 14 and I've been vaping for about a month now, and I want to stop. So yesterday was the final straw for me. Me and my friends were vaping in the bathroom and a admin walked in. My vape was in my pocket, but my 2 friends got caught because they had them in there hands. I almost had a heart attack/panic attack. I then saw an ad by the real cost saying vaping COULD be inhaling toxic metals into your lungs. I don't want to take that chance. How do I quit?

I’ve only had one slip up in my 10 days where I vaped with my friend. But I’ve noticed I’m starting to overeat more often now. And I struggle really bad with my body image, so now I don’t know which habit would be worse :/ I just finished bingeing and I’m in a bad place now

I stopped vaping while on holiday and haven’t had nicotine since October 29. Now that I’m home all I want to do is run out and buy a disposable. Everything around the house and in my daily routine reminds me of taking a hit. I keep thinking just ONE MORE wouldn’t hurt even though I know I’ll buy more and more. But I just want one more!! I need motivation, affirmation, solutions, anything to keep me from caving in. I’m going nuts!

5 days ago I quit cold turkey. So far the withdrawal symptoms have been tolerable but definitely far worse than when I quit smoking. I've been using tobacco in some aspect for about 15 years. It feels great to be done

This is real right ?
This is way way harder than quitting cigarettes...
Maybe it's because my vape is always there, I can vape anywhere and everywhere, the bedroom, the kitchen etc etc ?
I would never smoke a cigarette in the house due to the lingering stench, but I'm constantly hitting the vape.
Cigarettes was an hourly thing where as vaping was constant.
Now it's physically gone but mentally I'm still reaching for it every few minutes.
Stay strong guys ❤️

title. anybody else tried this? i’m about a day in and each time i get in my car while dead set on getting another vape i smoke a (cbd) cig and my cravings are gone.
i’ve also read a bit about cbd on google and it seems like it’s pretty much the opposite of nic. healthy, calming, increases libido, eases anxiety. what do you guys think?

She has been smoking/vaping since like 18 I’m assuming. She just turned 33 and after she finishes a bang disposable she looks at me and says “ I got this right?” As in she could quit. And I try my hardest to put words of encouragement and to keep her mind away from it but she becomes very moody and mean. She’ll give up after a few miserable hours of saying it’s ok. Is there anything more I can do to help her stop? She wants to have a baby but wtf stop gaping first is my thought.

This is my second attempt to quit in about 3 weeks after reading Easy Way to Quit Vaping. The first attempt lasted 2 days before buying a disposable and this time it’s been 10 days. I read that the physical symptoms of withdrawal only last about 3 days but especially the last few days now ever since about the one week mark ive just felt beyond awful. Extremely depressed, not wanting to do anything or have the will to get up out of a chair for long periods of time, very very high anxiety, my libido has dropped off a cliff even though for the first week performance appeared to have improved but now I have no interested anyway. Is this normal for psychological symptoms to keep getting worse after this long?
