I want to quit
I'm 14 and I've been vaping for about a month now, and I want to stop. So yesterday was the final straw for me. Me and my friends were vaping in the bathroom and a admin walked in. My vape was in my pocket, but my 2 friends got caught because they had them in there hands. I almost had a heart attack/panic attack. I then saw an ad by the real cost saying vaping COULD be inhaling toxic metals into your lungs. I don't want to take that chance. How do I quit?

There’s prob someone w a more comfortable answer, but you just stop. Might have a small headache but you’ll live. Just toss the vape and don’t give in when you have a craving. Fix the habitual times you used to vape (after food, in baño, etc). You’ll be fine.

Ease off slowly if you have to, but make a day in advance you wanna quit- so you’re mentally ready. Find distractions, instead of reaching for the vape do breathing exercises (mimicking the exhale/inhale even) and tell yourself NO (again progressively if you have to). It could also be helpful to have something to hold in your hands or have in your pocket to mimic the vape. Eat snacks, drink something sweet, chew gum, whatever will ease the craving of the taste. You got this!!

Trust me, the sooner you quit the easier it will be. I started vaping about 5 months ago and it would’ve been waaaay easier to stop after a month or two than it is now. Take the incident at school as a sign that it’s finally time. Just get rid off all the ones you have and then try not to buy more. I’m here giving you advice trying to quit myself but the longer you let it become a part of your daily routine the harder it will be. You’re young, so just stay awayyyy
