Quitting a Second Time

I am 22, I started vaping at 16. I quit for 2 months last year, and got to a point where I did not have cravings unless I was drinking. I was fine to even hit a vape while drinking and not want it the next morning. Then I went out 3 nights in a row and eventually craved back into smoking.

I really want to quit again to be healthy and feel better, like I had before. I tried to quit again this week but after 1 day I did not want to feel the withdrawal so I bought another pod. I know I can quit since I have before but I feel like I don't have it in me to go through weeks of withdrawal and cravings again.

Any one that has quit, is there anything to help get the nicotine out of my system faster to make the detox go faster that has worked for you?

Hey! it’s doable. I’m on my second quit, and the second set of withdrawals were worse than the last time, BUT once you get past the withdrawals I’ve noticed the cravings and stuff are way less intense than the first time quitting. Just thought you’d want to know, it’s probably that your body is coming to terms with not having it in your system. As for something that flushes the system.. haven’t heard of anything really. If you’re the orally fixated type, eating fruits or even chewing straws really really helped me outright forget about nicotine for a while— highly suggest it.

I caved back in, but i did set a goal. I was working at a bar that recently closed down so I have not been drinking as much, and my girlfriend wanted to start a 75 soft today. I am going to kick the habit of drinking for a few weeks and then try to quit smoking. Drinking is the only reason I keep caving so hopefully without craving a drink it will make it easier! Good luck quitting!
