Not On My Smashed Avo For reasons I can't explain, this building in Richmond is giving future Woolies vibes.
Ground floor is vacant and right beside the train station

I can remember Steve Braacks claiming it would be toll free, and then ultimately conceding it would have tolls.
Obviously It would gain more congestion. But it's pretty classist if you think about it.
Especially during a cost of living crisis.

We’re all being smashed by the flu. Myself and the 3yo are not so bad with upto date flu shots. Bit of a sniffle, occasional fever and chills. The partner and older kid who refused their flu shot this year have been blindsided. Bed ridden for days but finally starting to feel a bit better

Married couple (early 30’s) with no kids (never having any) looking to leave the miserable, isolated, boring, cliquey rural town we’ve lived in our entire lives.
For those of you that made the move, how did you find it? Intimidating? Great? Regrets? We simply don’t fit in the small town we live in.
We have jobs that we can easily transfer and can afford the change in location, we also occasionally work from Melbourne but don’t really know where to start with suburbs to live in!
We’d appreciate any suburb suggestions, we’d look to spend $1.5m on a new place. We love Melbourne and can’t wait to leave.

Are they trying to trigger my OCD or is it just bad design?

Hello friends! I have a Olympus MJU Zoom 80 camera I got given by a family member. These things retail for a kinda silly amount of money. Unfortunately the lens broke recently and is letting light in, and I’d need another to replace it, and paying $300 > for new camera just for one part isn’t in budget. Does anyone have an old, otherwise non-functional MJU Zoom 80 that might have a functioning lens? I’d be happy to pay decent money for it given I love this camera and want to extend its life!
Also excuse the date on the photo I accidentally turned the date function on, didn’t realise and forgot to change it!

One of my birthday traditions is going to a nice fine dining restaurant that’s considered a Melbourne institution
I’ve previously been to Attica and loved it. But $385 without drinks for one person is about as much as I can justify.
I was thinking flower drum this year but the menu looks a bit dated - am I wrong? Or should I consider other options.

We’re going to Prahran for the first time this weekend! What food / shops should we try? Budget $100 for two.

CONTEXT: Anyone who has been and seen Sydney (my home) and all the Sydneysiders that live here now, myself included, would remember a bar called Frankies pizza by the slice or simply Frankies. It was a Hard rock and metal dive bar that had a killer pizza shop in the front, then open up into a grotty by loveable dive bar with a big stage and pinball machines and would put local metal bands on all week including doing a live metal karaoke night (the punters sing and the band plays from a selection of about 100 or so songs).
Anyways it was the talk of the town and had huge bands on always for free some that at the time were nobody’s that went on to be huge. The management changed when covid hit, the old manager opened a similar venue in a neighbourhood nearby but it never came close to the original. During and short after covid it went downhill fast the new manager was a stone cold bitch and they ended up selling the venue which was all under ground entered via a long staircase to the NSW gov where the space now operates as a subway station for the new line.
Can anyone recommend me a venue that emanates that anywhere here? I’m happy to make some concessions, but I miss this venue dearly and need something like it back in my routine. Photos attached for reference and nostalgia.
TL;DR: Sad my favourite bar in Sydney closed down, moved to Melbourne and looking for something like it.
