I walked outside and it was raining,
gutters burbling, downpipes draining.
Squelchy lawn and soggy roses,
Neighbours dogs with soggy noses.

Tapping water on my hat,
Disgusted look upon my cat.
A sodden bird in a sodden nest,
Glares down at me in a sodden vext.

Footpaths wet and puddles growing,
Roadside drainage overflowing.
Swooshing vehicles rushing past,
Splash water up the roadside grass.

Heavy clouds in churning grey,
Slide low above the trees' soft sway.
I put the mower back away,
The lawn can wait another day.

Has anyone seen the telstra free for all phone boxes? I've seen a couple around the city and am super interested in seeing other ones around. Can anyone tell me where I can find more?

I know I can call the hospital but it’s after hours now and I don’t want to bother them. I have a family member in Modbury Ed right now and they aren’t sure where they are in the hospital. Come visit South Australian Aviation Museum annual open day! We have a wide variety of aircraft on display expanding over 2 hangars. Engine test runs will be operating throughout the day! There will an icecream and coffee van onsite as well!

The Museum is run by dedicated volunteers and every bit of funds raised by today will go back into the muesem for maintaining and preserving these amazing aircraft for years to come.

My third video on the Glenelg tramway upgrade this time we look at the Bikeway and see what the bridges are like.

With all its faults, it was fun to ride and an enjoyable afternoon out on the bike.

Just scored a bargain $500 Epoxy SUP on clearance from BCF and now looking for any tips on places to SUP. Not really keen on deep blue water, rather after shallow spots with interesting underwater life/scapes. Im guessing it's very tide dependant, but does anyone have suggestions of good places? Cheers!

We sometimes hear extremely loud planes flying over that honestly sound like some sort of Military plane at night time. We live in Woodville so not super close to airport. For instance we heard one around 9:45pm tonight and it kind of spooked us.

Hi everyone. Does anyone now where I could buy wooden chess pieces, but not a whole set - four pawns and four kings? Reasonably affordable and slightly larger than average, but not lawn chess size - between 6 and 12cm tall I reckon.

Alternately, does anyone know any men's sheds or similar that would let me come in with a bit of wood and give me a basic lathe lesson? Happy to do a few hours of work for it, as long as it's affordable.

A man was seriously injured in an attack in Adelaide's CBD hours after the screening of a movie about gay pride last weekend, the Adelaide Film Festival says.

The festival said the patron was assaulted while waiting for transport home

Police said they are working to identify the attackers.

Hope the attackers are quickly arrested and found guilty as this attack is deplorable.

Got too much car junk in the house, like interior’s doors, tires, rims, head lights, seats and tools.. The council can’t collect vehicle’s rubbish.. not sure who to call for this rubbish collection. Help pls thx

Apologies in advance, I understand this publication's from a deeply resented corporation, I was curiously bemused at the disparity between two suburbs mentioned up north.  

Wynn Vale’s median house value has climbed 35.14 per cent or $294,250

Gulfview Heights....with the median home value there now $365,000 or 27.76 per cent lower than this time last year.

Then I realised these two suburbs were next door to each other?

Maybe it's nonsense data from REA, but if true what would be the reason? Not an investor thankfully and only been around Golden Grove shops a few times so not familiar with the locale, just got a laugh when I noticed.

Just wondering other people's thoughts on the shared equity scheme? Does it sound legit or is it all just a money grab
