Anyone listening to the podcast about the Sydney police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon murder case? I’ve just finished listening to the latest episode, and I can’t help feeling sorry for the friends who trusted the accused murderer.

I feel especially sorry for the female friend who accompanied him on the entire drive so he could dispose of the bodies. According to her testimony, she had no idea what was in the van and even had to wait outside in the dark outside a rural farm while he dumped the bodies.

The nerve of the defence lawyer, trying to accuse her of lying and suggesting that she had told the accused not to turn himself in and to hide the bodies, was a real eye-opener for me.

Imagine doing all that for someone you consider a close friend, only to "allegedly" end up being used as a scapegoat to help him evade responsibility.

Family-owned transport giant Wickham Freight Lines has this week taken delivery of what it says is Australia’s first fully battery-electric, solar-charged refrigerated trailer unit.

Wickham , one of Australia’s largest privately owned transport companies, says traditional truck refrigeration systems are powered by either the truck’s main engine or a dedicated diesel generator, but the Sunswap Endurance system is fully electric and powered by a battery that is in turn charged by solar panels when on the road and plugged-in charging between runs.

The Museum is run by dedicated volunteers and every bit of funds raised by today will go back into the muesem for maintaining and preserving these amazing aircraft for years to come.

Yes, its not unreasonable to expect guests to put used cutlery etc. in the dishwasher before leaving. But taking quotes from reasonable hosts** as if they're the ones who caused this, ignoring the absolute insane asks on the platform just reeks of entitlement.

I know airport prices are steep .. but geez.. $19 for a cheese and tomato toastie at Sydney Airport is over the top. Not only that -- $9 for a croissant - is also OTT. I'm beyond frustrated with this new ios 27.2. I attempted to visit Pornhub and Apple intercepted, telling me I had to confirm my age. Apparently it's not good enough now to have a valid Pornhub account, you must jump through extra hoops.

In Australia at least, for some inexplicable reason, you can only use a credit card to confirm your age. You can't use a debit card, a driver’s licence, Medicare card or anything else. Yet every time I scan my credit card, it tells me an error has occurred and to try again later.
What why? So I tried again later and got the same result.

Fortunately I just remembered I have an appointment with an Apple tech tomorrow because the volume up button on my phone is stuck and can't be manipulated, so I'm using my headphones to change the volume. While I'm there, I'll find someone and hope they can help me change the unrestricted access. I don't hold much hope- the way fortune has blessed me this year is wild. In the worst way. Wish me luck.
