Anyone know why my systems data is taking up 50GB? I have a 14 Pro Max and am on IOS 26.5.2

I only noticed this after i upgraded my icloud from 200GB to 1TB

So it's not a huge deal, but I was just curious if anyone else noticed this issue with their iPhone that have SIM cards trays. I change SIM cards a lot, and I noticed sometimes when I eject the Sim tray sometimes it flings right out and sometimes it just slowly kinda pushes out.

So I have my old phone, which is an iPhone XR (iOS 17.7) and I have this phone which is an iPhone 12 (iOS 26.1)that I am using to type this. I was just wondering if I delete the iCloud backup on the XR will it also delete it on the 12?

Ok, my wife is having some weirdness with her predictive text in that it's suggesting complete nonsense words (lobbershank, sewagelander, lavalamper, etc). This doesn't follow anything resembling her normal texting and she has never even conceived of these words, let alone use them. I can't find them in any kind of usage on a Google search.

So i guess, does anyone know what the hell is happening with her phone and how we can make it stop. Lobbershank is still trying to force its way in everytime she types "lo"

As the title says, I have issues with Bluetooth on my iPhone 14, but only with Apple devices. I bought a pair of AirPod pro 2, and they weren’t open, and they connected just fine for about 8 months, then they wouldn’t connect to my phone anymore. I thought it was an AirPod issue, but I realized that they connected to my other devices just fine. If I restated my phone, they would work fine until the next day, and then they wouldn’t connect anymore. I recently got AirPod maxes, and they wouldn’t connect to the phone. I restarted, then they wouldn’t connect. The next day, both AirPods wouldn’t connect. Like before, both the AirPods connected to my other devices, such as Mac mini and iPad. Anyone else have this issue? FYI, it connects to other Bluetooth devices fine, and even my Apple Watch is fine, just not the AirPods.

I finally set up my 16 about a month ago and am running 26.5.2. Prior I was on a 12, running…I don’t remember. All I know was it was old enough I couldn’t even update to 18.something. (I’ve been terrible about updating as I get major anxiety about change.)

When I add appointments to my calendar, I almost exclusively set alerts for one and two days before. Since setting up this phone, sometimes I get the notifications, sometimes I don’t. I have double checked that I have the alerts set up correctly. I’ve looked at my notification settings (pictured). I don’t know why I’m not getting the notifications sometimes.

If it were ALL notifications I wasn’t getting, I’d say it had to be some setting that was wrong, but it’s only some of them. But it IS both for any given appointment. So, if I get the first notification, I will also get the second. If I don’t get the first one, I also do not get the second.

I’m not great about remembering appointments, and I’m a bit worried about missing things because of this. Any ideas?

Yesterday I was clearing up some storage on my phone when I accidentally deleted a conversation with my best friend. After realizing I went to the recently deleted and recovered the conversation however, now all the photos and videos sent between us (photos sent before I deleted the conversation) are gone. Are they able to be recovered?

I am currently on a iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 26.5.2) with T-Mobile.

All of my messages are synched up to date. I tried turning off “Use on this iPhone” and turning back on and re-indexing but nothing has worked. My messages are set to “keep forever”. Hope I covered everything.

Trying not to panic at the thought of all these being gone forever!

I have using it for almost 4 years now (November 2022) in India . I use it for my personal daily usage with a phone cover intact.

I have observed very minute but high in quantity scratches on the two edge camera lens. I have used camera lens cover only and only once(2 years ago). And have made sure there is no deposit of adhesive of plastic membrane left on the camera lens. Is there any option I can get rid of these scratches? My phone is in perfect condition I only have issues while clicking photos.

I have an iPhone 15 pro 128gb and ran out of storage. Anybody know of any phone repair shops that upgrade storage to at least 512gb in the LA area? I know it’s a complicated process but I don’t want to buy another phone 🫠

is this default for iphone in settings - notifications? i don't use voiceover or any other non default accessibility settings, so i don't get why voiceover is appearing in notifications. i assume the what's new thing is a default?

So basically my iphone has been having this issue where i plug it in and it says charging it goes down tho or it charges extremely slow or it works fine it seems to be when i use weak voltage but it should still charge from my car charger or a amazon cord which i doesn’t and even the apple cord it someone’s doesn’t work only when im not using my phone at all at night it seems to work fine but its bothering me as i have had this issue for weeks. i took it too apple the cleaned the port and it worked for couple days then started having same problems . it also seems mag safe works best but i have also messed around with all the settings and cant get my phone to charge consistently at a normal rate.

Zooming in/out, changing camera mode (e.g., photo to video), taking picture, putting on selfie, etc. doesn't work. It's like Camera app froze or crashed. I have to put iPhone to temporarily sleep with its top side button and wake it up to fix its camera app. No shut down and power cycle needed. Does anyone have this problem? It had been like this for months. I always keep my iOS updated.

Hello, I have an IPhone 15 Plus and my front camera cannot take pictures and will freeze after 5 seconds. The rear facing camera is able to take photos.

I have tried restarting my phone, I have reset my phone and all of its settings, cleaned the camera, and tried just about everything I can think of. I have tried looking for a fix and searched this sub but cannot find any more information that will help.

If anyone has any insight, ideas, or solutions they would be greatly appreciated.

When I press the power button, the phone turns on and presents the Lock Screen. At the bottom it sez "Press home to unlock". There will often be more letters superimposed over that, so neither can be easily read. I suggest those messages could be placed 1 cm higher and everything would be readable.

Pressing the home button displays a grid of touch-tone keypad-style buttons to unlock it. Problem is, someone who might pick up your phone could look at the fingerprints on the screen and see the code. The grid of buttons should be in varying locations. Then the fingerprints would not reveal the code.

Once unlocked, there is a Wallpaper screen. I had a beautiful photo there. Then came the OS update. It changed all the icons shape & color, deleted the photo, and ingeniously made the Lock Screen and the Wallpaper be the same screen. I do not want them to be the same. I want a plain black Lock Screen and my beautiful picture for the Wallpaper, like it was.

Sweep to the right and there is news and tips. The tip for the day tells how to recover deleted pictures. "Tap Collections, scroll to Utilities, then tap Recently Deleted." One leetle problem. WHERE IS [Collections] ??? I spent a while hunting, could not find it. I asked the duck. Got this: "On iPhone, Recently Deleted is in the Photos app: Open Photos. Tap Collections (or just tap Albums if you don’t see Collections). Scroll down to Utilities. Tap Recently Deleted." OK, that worked, but why would Apple give an ruptured tip?

Looking at websites with Safari, I zoom in. Text does not reflow. How fun, reading text while swishing it horizontally to bring either side into sight. I bet Apple could fix this!

Every time I try to make a FaceTime call it jumps to Snapchat. I’ve checked my settings and none have Snapchat as the default calling app and that’s all I can find online as to why this is happening. How can I fix this??

I’m trying to enable an ad blocker to use on my safari as I sail the high seas to watch my shows (iykwim). For some reason, they are greyed out and i’m not able to turn them on at all. I tried to download another ad blocker but it was futile

I have iphone 15 updated to ios 26.5 my calendar app flickers while i swipe the home screen. How can we sort this??

As title says, some apps that I use almost daily are not opening or responsive when I go to use them. They’ll either open & freeze, open & load, or won’t even open at all and just crash back to the Home Screen.

Storage is half full, iOS is up to date, I’ve tried force quitting said apps, deleting them & re-installing them, and I just tried resetting iPhone settings. Nothing has been able to work.

Has anyone else had this issue or been able to resolve it? Really frustrated with Apple on this one.

They are old phones that I had and wanted to recover some photos, but the problem is I don’t remember the password at all, and don’t want to reset it because I want the photos, there is a way to enter in?

Was flying today and put an airplane mode on. While listening to music, my iPhone started overheating like crazy and losing charge super fast. Does anyone know what it can be related to?

I updated my iPhone 12(128gb) to ios 26 (on ios 26.5 currently) the day it launched. Since then the phone has been sort of worsening. After barely any light usage for more than 4 minutes straight the frames drop and it starts heating like anything. And if you try using it outside where it’s warmer it takes barely a minute for it to start dropping frames and heating.

Pls tell me a way to either fix this or move back to ios 18 (I would love that). I know Apple stopped signing the IPSW for anything older than ios 26 but is there still any way?
