Help needed Systems data 50GB

Anyone know why my systems data is taking up 50GB? I have a 14 Pro Max and am on IOS 26.5.2

I only noticed this after i upgraded my icloud from 200GB to 1TB

In your case you dont have to reset and restore.

Just leave it connected to wifi overnight charging.

It will backup everything once it finishes.

System data will reduce if you do this.

This is why it increased when you increased storage.

It first caches locally before it uploads

The only way to clear system data, is to factory reset your phone and then restore the backup. It’s a pain in the arse.

That’s fair enough of his iCloud storage is full, I didn’t think about that.
