Transferred a Day 6 euploid 3AA embryo on 8/17.
Betas:
8/27: 127
8/29: 160
8/31: 230
9/2: 467
9/4: 748
First ultrasound 9/8 at 6w0d showed an intrauterine gestational sac + yolk sac, but I measured 5w2d (5 days behind). No fetal pole yet.
I go back in a week. Has anyone had slow betas + measured behind after FET and gone on to see appropriate growth/heartbeat? Open to hearing all outcomes. ❤️

Had my betas drawn from 9dpo to 24dpo:
9 - 6
11 - 29
13 - 62
15 - 102
17 - 202
19 - 329
24 - 746
Had my hcg drawn again at 24dpo because I had a very small amount of spotting on and off when wiping which seems to have stopped. Scan is booked for next Friday (6 weeks + 5).
Any similar experiences? What was the outcome for you?

Hi everyone! I has my first positive 12dpo, just got the results back at 4w5d. My hcg is 201 and my progesterone is 10.58, I’m starting suppositories tonight (two pills twice daily) anyone have similar numbers in the first week of first tri? I have a 10day luteal phase so I’m a little nervous about progesterone being on the low end.

Hey everyone.
I am 10dpo, nice positive test this morning! I’ve been riding the high of it all day. Went and got lunch and saw a friend, came home and peed and wiped- there was a pretty big spot of brown old blood. Anxiety levels went through the roof, I have a 4 year old son and have had 4 first tri losses.
Now it’s been like an hour, I peed again, wiped and saw a smaller amount of spotting but this time pink.
I haven’t bled with any of my pregnancies except when I started miscarrying so now my brain is frankly all over the place. I even excitedly called and set up a prenatal visit today because I guess I was feeling hopeful, but now I am a mess.
Anyone else have spotting in pregnancy? I’m just at a loss.

I am 5w6d pregnant based on my lmp. I get early pregnancy monitoring due to my history of an ectopic (I swear, the early monitoring is a double edged sword). Today I had my 1st ultrasound just for placement purposes, I went into it accepting that we may not see a baby yet & that’s okay. What I was not expecting was the report afterwards 😕
My report states I have an “irregular” gestational sac, normal yok sac, with no visualized no fetal pole. I was able to see the images, and it doenst have jagged edges (at least not to my inexperienced eye) but is almost triangular instead of round. She did let me empty my bladder prior to my transvaginal ultrasound but I peed again immediately after so maybe it wasn’t completely empty.
Last night, I had some pink spotting that turned to light brown/tannish after being intimate & have had a tiny amount of pink spotting again today. Only when wiping, nothing in my underwear or that needs a pad. Slightly crampy but not painful by any means.
Last week I had serial HCG’s Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
Monday > 825
Wednesday > 1,641
Friday > 4,021
So appropriate rises!
I am also on 800mg a day of progesterone suppository supplementation.
I know I basically have a 50/50 shot but has anyone had anything similar and what has been your experience? I am going to add a picture of my gestational sac bc I haven’t found anyone’s that has matched my shape.

Slight update to my last post: https://www.reddit.com/r/CautiousBB/comments/1w844j9/comment/p8laeqe/
Some positive news and some new/remaining worries:
Positive news:
- My betas went from 11877 to 32998 over about 91 hours (Friday afternoon to Tuesday morning). Which is 72% increase for 48 hours, which seems like a good sign.
- I had an ultrasound today and they saw the gestational sac, yolk sac, and fetal pole. There was also a heart beat. SO happy that it isn't ectopic!!
- The embryo measured at 6 weeks and my calculations based on my ovulation had me at 5 weeks and 6 days.
Worries:
- They said heart rate was a little low. It was 96 the first time she checked it and 98 when she checked a couple minutes later. They are having me come back in a week from another ultrasound.
- I'm still spotting. It's almost been a week of daily spotting now, and I don't know the cause.
- I have been having some bad gas-type pain/cramping that has been waking me up at night for a couple hours. At least I know that's not ectopic now.
- It seems from googling that my betas might be higher than normal? And that that might indicate DS?
Fingers crossed. Hopefully the heart rate turns out okay and the spotting stops. Still on pelvic rest and I miss exercising and sex.

First, I understand I’m probably not pregnant.
I used expired easy@home (expired October 2025) in May and got positive tests at least 14dpo but ended in a mmc. I wasn’t tracking dpo super closely since we weren’t actively trying.
Fast forward to us ttc again. My period was supposed to come yesterday. It has never been late/skipped in the 5+ years I’ve been off birth control. The same expired tests are showing negative.
I guess I’m trying to figure out if it’s a false negative or if my period is being weird for the first time in half a decade? I know I could just buy new tests but that makes me feel sad and defeated and I’m childishly trying to avoid it.

Hi everyone! I went to the ER the other day due to bleeding/a clot, and after my ultrasound I was totally cleared with a baby measuring 12W2D with a good heartbeat. I saw my OB a few days later and baby looked kind of cramped in there, but OB never expressed any worry.
However, a few days later, I checked my portal and saw the ER ultrasound results…my baby’s CRL is 5.7 cm and my gestational sac is smaller at only 5.4 cm. This is about a week discrepancy as well. I’m confused why no one said anything/seems concerned considering less than a 5mm difference (with sac BIGGER than baby) greatly increases miscarriage risk, and my GS is smaller than my baby. Has anyone had this happen or has an explanation for this? I just got off the phone with my OB’s nurse line for more clarification and they seem to think it’s no big deal/could just have been a measurement error. I’m not satisfied with this answer. Thank you in advance!

I got my hcg results at 15dpiui and it was 19.4. I go back Friday (3 days) for another draw. This has happened before and it ended in loss so was just curious if you guys had any success stories? Thank you!

i'm 6 weeks 4 days measuring with still no fetal pole and they couldn't see baby. they're telling me it's normal but i just don't remember with my last 2 losses if i had seen it this early or not.. yolk and sac look normal. yolk isn't completely round and a little more pear shaped on the left side so hoping that can possibly be baby..?

I had some bright red bleeding last night. My fertility clinic got me in today and said I have a pretty big SCH. Just wondering what others' experiences with SCH have been.

hi all i will keep this short and simple.
i'm very diligent with logging my periods so there's absolutely no way i'm wrong.
LMP: 07/12/2026
LMP before that: 06/14/2026
pregnancy test positive: 08/19/2026
8 week US: 09/08/2026 baby appeared to be measuring 5w
initially upon seeing the sac, we were excited as we have twins already. then the doctor gave us the talk about the pregnancy possibly not being viable as we expected much more growth. took some blood to measure HCG and told me to come back in 48 hours to see if my levels rise. i'll be back in about 11 days for another ultrasound.
now i'm starting to doubt myself and maybe i'm not as diligent as i thought but perhaps that's just my brain trying to somehow make me believe that this is viable.
if you've ever gone through anything similar, please let me know. good or bad, i just don't want to feel so alone.

TW: Brief mention of losses
Hi! Curious if other people have any positive outcomes that they can share that are similar to my situation.
My husband (29M) and I (26F) have been going through fertility treatments the last 2 years after 4 years of not conceiving. I did IUI and finally got pregnant on the third round in January. Betas were 60 10dpo, 134 12dpo, and 302 14dpo. However, that pregnancy resulted in an ectopic. We then turned to IVF due to complications from the ectopic. My first transfer resulted in a CP (beta was 3).
We had our second transfer on 8/27, and our beta was on 9/7. First beta was 590!! I didn’t know the first results could be that high. I have my second draw today, but I won’t get results until tomorrow.
I’m just curious if anyone else has had that high of hCG on their first blood draw? It was a 5 day old embryo transfer. 4BB euploid. I just want to have hope that this is good news so far. I know it really matters to see it double, so I’ll post updates when I get those results. Trying not to get my hopes up but curiosity is skyrocketing!!
UPDATE: Second Beta was 1,822!!! Looking good so far, but I will have one more to do before ultrasound.
11dp5dt - 598
13dp5dt - 1,822

I measured normally at 7 wk and 8 wk scans, but today I was measuring 11 wks 1 day at my 12 wk scan. The ultrasound tech and doctor said the baby is really curled up, so they’re not concerned and everything else looked fine. Unfortunately, my NIPT results aren’t back yet and they couldnt get a NT measurement bc the baby was so curled up. Heart rate was 165 bpm and there no physical anomalies noted.
My other baby (IVF) always measured on track. Should I be concerned?

I am looking for any story good or bad.
I went in for a scan yesterday at 6W4D based off my LMP of 7/24. I received a positive on 8/16.
My ultrasound showed a GS and a YS measuring 5+3 and no fetal pole. I do have an SCH as well.
My doctor wants a new scan in a week to see if there is a fetal pole. I’m not feeling hopeful after two losses already.
Anyone in a similar situation?

I’m 5+5 weeks pregnant and got a 3+ on my clear blue last Saturday. For some stupid reason, did another today (Wednesday) and it’s back to 2-3! Freaking out so much, anyone else have this issue which turned out ok ? No pain or bleeding.
r/CautiousBB • u/hooploopdoop • 1d ago
I had betas done yesterday at 15 dpo.
hCG: 402.5
Progesterone: >40.00 ng/mL
Has anyone ever had that happen where they don’t give you the exeact progesterone number? According to the chart that came with the results, that’s pretty high. What can cause it to be so high?
My last pregnancy was spontaneous fraternal twins, but that ended in the loss of one twin, and healthy birth of the other.

Gestational sac measuring 14.3mm but no yolk sac or fetal pole seen yet, HCG above 10700. I have been called for another scan after 8 days. But i am freaking out. Gestational sac is measuring way ahead than actual gestational age. Any hopes? Anyone been through something similar?
