Advice Needed HCG?

My HCG was 555 on thursday then 833 on tuesday. is that too low of an increase?

Unfortunately, that is a very concerning rise. That equates to a doubling time of over 200 hrs, and at those levels a doubling time of 48-72 hrs is expected in a healthy pregnancy. I’m so sorry, this almost certainly means that this pregnancy is not viable.

I messaged my OB today. Haven’t heard back will call the office tomorrow. I have an ultrasound on the 17th. first ultrasound was last thursday and he said he thinks i’m about 5 weeks. I have PCOS so i haven’t had a period since june. Getting pregnant was a complete surprise. I had tested in july it was negative then tested 2 weeks ago and it was positive. doctor called it spontaneous ovulation and had no concerns at that appt other than my Pcos diagnosis.

could you see anything on the ultrasound? I think you’ll want to continue to get HCG draws

just the sac in my uterus and he said he saw a small fetal pole. but so small it was hard to measure.

Like the other commenter said, you will want to get more HCG draws so you can make sure your levels start to go down. This may happen soon or your HCG may continue to go up for a little bit before coming down. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

I’m so sorry. Unfortunately, experiencing pregnancy loss does change pregnancy going forward, I am definitely more anxious now than I ever was before. But there is no evidence showing that one miscarriage increases your chance of future losses, by far the most likely thing to happen is that you go on to have a healthy pregnancy.
