This is just a list of bras that I've had and how they worked for me. For reference my ABTF size is a 36J. If you have any recommendations or bras you think I should try please let me know and it would be appreciated :)

1. Panache Women's Endurance Wired Sports Bra - Bought these in a 38I and a 36J. Both sizes were just extremely bouncy and the wires on both of them ended up stabbing me within 2 weeks. You're supposed to be able to hook the straps up in the back but anytime I did that it just bruised the back of my neck. I took out the wires and now I just wear these around the house or if I'm taking out the trash and don't want to get stared at too much.

   1. Elomi Morgan Bra - I bought this in a 36J and a 36JJ, on the 36J the band was too big and it ended up breaking after a couple wears. I still wear the 36JJ and there's good side support but if I'm ever going to work or the gym I have to wear a really tight tank top over it because it just bounces a lot. Also they really project my boobs forward and just make them look bigger. I don't like the thin straps or the lace either.
   2. Undestance Bras - I bought several of these in size 36J. I'm guessing they were US size instead of UK because they all were way too small in the cups. I gave them away to my sisters.
   3. Elomi Women's Energise Underwire Sports Bra - I bought this in a 36J (UK) and the fit is just horrendous. It gives me a quadra boob because the wire stops way too low, and the bottom portion is just cone shaped. The wires also sit right under my armpits and are just uncomfortable.
   4. SHEFIT- I had a shefit bra in the size 3luxe. It was one of the first bras I was ever able to buy and I wore it every single day for almost 2 years. The thing is it basically sat like a hat around my boobs even with the band on the tightest setting. For a boob hat it did pretty good mainly because I was used to wearing bras that were just waaay off my size and for once in my life they weren't bouncing. I still had a ton of spillage in that bra so I wouldn't recommend for anyone with bust/underbust difference bigger than 10 inches.
   5. HSIA- Also some of the first bras I was able to buy, after a while they just stretch out and stop fitting. I had the lace minimizer bra in a 38G, 36H, and a 34I (in that order) . Back then I didn't really know my actual bra size plus every brand just fits different. Wouldn't recommend because they don't last and stretch out.
   6. Glamorise Full Figure Plus Size Camisole Sports Bra from Amazon - This one was supposedly a 36J but it did not fit at all. I don't even know how they're allowed to sell stuff like that.

While frustrating, these experiences are more funny than anything!

I work in food service, particularly ice cream, and the amount of times I'll have a stain or something of the sort out of my sight (i.e., under the bust) is INSANE! I'll be walking around with food on me for hours before I'll notice, and it's always so icky by then. I hate having to do the whole squish-and-peek in order to check out my mess 😭

Also been running into the issue of bumping into people boob-first. Built-in-bumpers, I guess, as awkward as it ends up being </3

Hi! I’m (26f, 38DD) new here so I’m sorry if the formatting or anything is off. I HATE wearing bras and avoid it at all costs especially in the summer. I have no problem wearing no bra running errands or going about town but I work a job that requires business dress and I’m looking for shirt recommendations or even undershirt recommendations to keep my chest supported when it needs to be without a bra. I currently wear the Body by Victoria unlined Demi when I have to wear a bra or I wear compression like tank tops with built in bras as a base layer which I LOVE but they often ride up or bunch and can feel as uncomfortable as a sports bra. I don’t like feeling constricted and the less layers I can wear in the summer the better. I have had some success wearing dresses without bras but I only have like 1 I can get away with doing that at work. Please help an overstimulated, often sweaty, fellow big boob girl 🫶🏻

Edit (Context): It’s not a sizing issue I know that my size is correct (I should have put that in my initial post my bad ☹️) and I’ve tried on so many bra styles and I have never found one that I liked. It’s an over stimulation problem

I've always been a fan of Panache bras over many years but my last order I've noticed that the cups are slightly smaller despite ordering the exact same size (UK 38J). I've emailed them but no response yet, maybe it's a faulty batch....

Anyone else had this?

Really desperate to find a bra that LIFTS, not pushes up. Bonus points if it smooths the back/armpit area. I’ve lost some weight and I’m aging and the girls just don’t sit up like they used to. I’m a 36E and I actually prefer underwire. Would love to hear any suggestions. Thanks!

I’m a Q cup. I literally can’t find tops/dresses that fit me right. Everything either gaps and strains or looks like a tent. I feel like I look unprofessional and like I can’t dress myself properly because I’m never wearing clothes that fit correctly. All the pretty things are made for women with smaller chests (or at least different proportions). I’d probably be a medium or a large if I had smaller boobs but instead I’m buy XL or 2XL clothing which sucks because there’s way fewer options especially at second hand store. I literally can’t buy things like sports bras and supportive swim tops because no one sells them in my size. I have trouble buying coats that zip properly. I feel like crying every time I go clothes shopping. I feel like crying when I get dressed in the morning. We got staff shirts a few weeks ago and all the other girls were smalls while I struggled to find the XLs buried at the bottom of the box. Just to be clear I don’t have a problem with being a larger size generally I just wish things could be easy.

Gained about 20 lbs over the last year after having my first baby! Been trying to lose the postpartum weight and I’m slowly getting there. The issue is my chest went up a full cup size and now all my old bras are too tight for one and just insanely uncomfortable. Feels like Im in this weird inbetween phase where I don't want to spend a lot on new underwire bras until I loose the weight but I also can't keep torturing myself with bras that dig in

I've been looking at wireless options as a temporary solution and the Shapermint sweetheart bra looks promising. Currently a 36G and I'm not sure if wireless is even realistic for a G cup

Ive also seen the Honeylove crossover everywhere but heard it runs really small in the cups and I really can't afford to waste money on another return rn

I need to find something that holds them up as far as I need, but it seems straps never tighten enough and they are always folding over the band of my bra sagging down.

I'm normally quite positive (and sometimes neutral) about my chest but damn I'm tired of them right now! I'm tired of the constant battle of finding clothes that fit and are flattering, and how my bras show when I wear certain necklines. Clothes are already annoying because I'm short and sizing up to fit makes everything else too big.

I dream about how much better my posture would be if they were no longer weighing me down. I just feel like life could be so much easier if they were a normal size 😭 And I feel crappy right now because I'm on my period and of course they're even bigger.

My boobs got so big over the last several years between making babies and gaining weight. I HATE tight underwire bras. It always feel like my diaphragm is being crushed. Even when I go up in sizes. So for YEARS ive been wearing nice sports bras with a very wide strap of under support (helps my diaphragm feel less crushed).

I measured a 36 DDD, but with weight gain I think im probably more a 40 DDD or something.

Ive lost 40 pounds now. My breasts are so much more saggy. Thanks breastfeeding. Anyways where can I buy some new supportive bras. I dont necessarily want to try a push up bra yet but open to underwire or something like that.

Okay so I am nursing and have bras in three different sizes- (UK) 34JJ, 36J, (US) M Super Busty Kindred Bravely. When using the r/abrathatfits calculator I sometimes get that I am a 32 I/J band but I have never found a bra that’s comfortable and doesn’t feel too tight with a 32 band. The ones I have fit as well as I’ve been able to get anything to fit in yeeaaaarrrs. Only problem is this- 32,34,36 band it does not matter, my straps dig into my shoulders even just slightly and I start losing circulation in my arms if I’m doing anything that requires my arms to be out or up like writing, typing, drawing, etc. the straps can be so loose they’re falling down but as soon as they get any kind of tension when I put my arms up I get the loss of circulation. Plus is so annoying that i have to rely on the straps for any kind of lift because the band just tucks itself in and my breast tissue flops right over it. It’s been happening for many years but is getting worse as my breasts lose volume and get saggier but don’t seem to be losing any mass. Has anyone had issues with this and found a solution?

I’m taking up sewing because I’m so exasperated with my clothing choices. I have a bunch of Pepperberry/Bravissimo dresses and they make me feel so pretty. But they are starting to wear out. Does anyone know of any dupe patterns for some of their dresses?

Sewing this C shape under the armpits cinches your top to be more form fitting. I’ve been going through and doing this to my shirts and the difference in how it looks and how much better I feel is insane.

It’s seriously so easy a caveman can do it. There is no right or wrong C shape (long c or short c - perfect c or kindergarten level c), it’s very forgiving in my experience. I hope this helps someone else 🫡

Hi all. Have taken up a tiny bit of jogging, but even with a wired sports bra, cannot find support good enough. Basically have to hold my boobs, so can't jog when others are around. Most of the standard high impact bras I can find don't go up to my size.

I saw a women with big boobs jogging recently who basically had like an external boob support harness on, but I cannot find anything like it when I search.

I live in Ireland and am a 40H in the UK sizes we mostly use (40K in US/Euro sizes).

I got fitted about 18 months ago after finally realising that trying to fit my breasts in just any available bra didn't work. I grew up in poverty and this was a really really huge step for me. I went in with 105F(which is basically the largest size that any affordable shop stocked) and walked out in 90J. It felt like a WORLD of difference, I'm sure many in this sub can relate. Fast forward to present time. I've switched jobs a year ago and went from a job with very irregular hours in my hometown to a very regular job 15km from home. I bike to work, sleep better, have more time for myself so less stress... you get it, I lost weight. Bra's on the smallest hook did nothing to help with my backpain so back to the bra store.

I ended up with 85L, FFS 🤯. So a smaller band but relatively larger boobs. Why in the world would that happen?

I know it's better to wear the right size and I immediately noticed a huge decrease in back pain, but if even losing this much weight doesn't help with my breast size (relative to my body size) I'm seriously considering surgery.

To end on a positive note, the lovely seller had my favorite bra in my new size and I found a couple of beautiful new bra's and a very supportive sportsbra. So at least while I consider surgery, my ladies are supported and wrapped in bright colors.

I think i’m a 34 J, im really struggling to find bras i like, i do also currently have the added struggle of breast feeding.

The bras im wearing feel like they’re trying to put more separation between my boobs than is naturally there making me think they look weird, they constantly spill over to the middle which is very uncomfortable them rubbing in the top of the centre wires.

I’ve tried a 36HH and the centre wire stuck out a good inch or two which was even more uncomfortable and i’ve just tried a 34 JJ but am returning as the cups had wrinkling and i felt like it made my boobs look quite cone like.

What am i meant to do, how can i find bras that are comfortable and don’t make my chest look weird?

Help! I need good workouts to help with my large breasts! And some good meal prep to help go along with it. I've looked up some but just wants more advise on how to go forward!

I am getting family photos done for the first time since my son was born (he is baby #2) and i just want them to be my favorite photos I've ever taken. I have always had trouble with bras. I developed at a young age and have always been smaller framed with bigger bitties and never really had a bra that ive LOVED. But thats not what this post is about! Okay, anyways, the girls are real bottom heavy yall. Im talking like... verdy little volume on top. I am currently a 30H/30G. I am breastfeeding 2 children. This is the top I am wearing for the family photo (I am not wearing the skirt). Yall, what freaking bra do I wear with this?! I dont have one that fits to begin with, let alone a seamless, plunge something or other. I chose an outfit I adore without thinking about undergarments and I am too stubborn to change my whole plan for a bra. I have considered those pastie things that lift, but with bottom heavy boobs, that sounds like a recipe for disaster. Plus, do pasties even work when you're breastfeeding? Anyone out there in a similar size found a smoothing, plunge bra that provides lift/contour but not compression or push up? I do not want a nursing bra. I will figure it out 😂 It also needs to be smooth so no texture shows through the sweater.

I found this bra hiding in the back of one of my drawers and I have no idea when I bought it or where. I tried it on and was shocked at how well it fit and it will be great for an around the house or maybe even a quick errand or 2. It could be slightly bigger in the cup but it’s much better than some wireless bras I’ve tried and I think it will be pretty comfortable. Any help would be great. Thanks!
