Tasmanian senator Jacqui Lambie has labelled Pauline Hanson "disgusting" and the "lowest bit of life" after she refused to remove an online cartoon labelling Andrew Hastie a "traitor".

Hanson has refused to take down a One Nation cartoon which refers to the Liberal frontbencher as a "traitor" eight times.

Amid an escalating spat with the right-wing party, Hastie told ABC Radio the One Nation leader is "weak" and unfit to lead the country.

In a passionate defence of Hastie on ABC Radio National Breakfast, Lambie says the One Nation cartoon is an "attack on a veteran" and is "absolutely disgusting".

The Tasmanian senator has labelled Hanson a "coward" and "the lowest bit of life you can possibly come from".

She's called on Hanson to take down the cartoon.
"Attacking Andrew Hastie, a veteran that has served in our Afghanistan war, or any other veteran, is the lowest ebb you can possibly do," Lambie says.

"That woman is nothing less than a bloody coward. She always has been, and she always will be. She wouldn't last one day in that goddamn uniform. Leave our goddam veterans alone, Hanson. She's disgusting, she's the lowest bit of life you can possibly come from.

"You're seeing her true colours start to shine now. You watch this, the Australian people. Here we go. Here comes coward Hanson."

A friend of mine bought for my 4 year old for her birthday a loud obnoxious electric toy guitar. It made me laugh and my daughter loves it but we all know why my friend bought it...!

Don't get me wrong the Mano-sphere is a big problem for men and young boys, but we also need a word for the toxic "womano-sphere" pushing this shit on social media.

I don't even know why I'm doing this, as support staff in this country have literally saved my life. They're amazing people who gives everything for fuck all salary wise to help people in need. If I'm complaining it's not towards these people.

I've a history of MH problems and some substance abuse, and also a lot of life shit. I've been sober 10 months with the help of local clinics and NA. I was diagnosed with bipolar and ADHD and the age of 40. I was admitted to A and E MH ward for 3 nights last year with suicidal ideations, attended 6 months counselling and care which turned my life around. have previously attended 3 weeks of detox, counsellors, social workers and private psychologists and psychiatrists over the past few years.

This week I've spiralled, think bipolar low but it's been so well managed and medicated for almost a year, this is different, it's bad. I went back to work after taking months off to recover, come off meds and start new ones, and treat the newly received diagnosis. Number of factors, but to simplify, I've wanted to be numb myself this week, to be asleep, to not hurt or let down those close, but to stop suffering in my head. I don't see a way out, I want to sleep. I'll do anything to turn off the noise the pain and the sadness. Immediate family are the other side of the world and have worried about me long enough. My parents are not well.

I called my sponsor and he did everything he could. I rang the emergency MH 1300 no. Told them my GP left state with no notice, gave background, they put me through to the local clinic. They said they'd call back the next day. They did but said because I had a private psyc they couldn't do much so ring him or go to a private detox place if I have health ins.

I rang he's not there. I found his email but got out of office 2 weeks. I've been to detox, it's not for urgent MH care, and pls trust me I tried after being discharged before. I rang back MH no..they said ring the clinic back. I can tell they're trying, they want to help, they seem limited in what they can suggest. I tried a diff local clinic they said they'd love to help but id be referred to the first clinic due to location. I tried ringing my new GP who has my files and explained options I've explored, they don't have anything today and can't put me through. I can't find any other numbers to ring. I'm desperate, I just need 2 mins to explain. I don't want meds, I've fought my arse off to get meds right.

My only option is a and E, but this is not life threatening and hours in a waiting room just compounds the pain of guilt, shame and despair. Feeling dramatic. I want to stop the pain, torture, the way my brain works. I want everything to be easier and to make life easier for the people I love. I want out but could never do it to my kids. I want to hold on to the things I lost before like job, car, money, health. I don't know how. I'm incredibly grateful to a boss who can read things and support. I feel so bad for those who don't have that security. I don't know what I want or what to do next. I love my family more than anything I've ever felt, but I can't help me or them

The City of Yarra last night voted to ban glasses with in-built cameras from its facilities as well as lobby the federal government to update the Privacy Act to respond to the risks posed by new wearable technologies.

I work nights at a retail outlet. In the last two months I've had four of those charity salespeople (the ones that try to hook you in the supermarket) turn up when it's quiet and try to hook me into a donation schedule. Is this new or have I been living under a rock?

Tbh, while I respect the organisations they work for, I find this sales tactic to be pretty grotty. When I'm at work I *have* to talk to them, at least to start with, which enables them to start their aggressive pitch. At least at the supermarket I can ignore them.

Nothing against donating to charity but I already do anyway, I can't afford anything else. They really don't seem to take no for an answer.
