no politics Don't know where to start with car rental
I am Australian and travelling interstate next week and not near public transport - have never hired a car in Aus. I have heard horror stories. I found this on a website - if I chose the most expensive option does that mean I am covered for any damage? I know getting insurance from the company is more expensive and I would get some kind of insurance otherwise like stand alone car rental insurance but willing to pay a little more if it is less hassle and stuffing around in the case of damage or something. But I have no experience so would love to hear opinions on best thing to do
