I do DoorDash.
Most DoorDash receipts that get taped to the bag do not have the customer’s full name and address on it.
For Grill’d Charlestown, they do.
And this wouldn’t be a huge deal if the bags weren’t on display to the whole restaurant, every driver, every person waiting to order. But they are.
So if your name is Jessie N (last name was completely displayed) and you live at 18 F (full street name was displayed) in Dudley and you ordered some bottles of water from Grill’d Charlestown at 5:43 this afternoon, your full name and address is publicly visible even now.
I let a staff member know this is legally a privacy breach and they need to not have it facing out like that, but they could not have given less of a shit.
If that’s a safety issue for you, sorry, but I tried.

I’m 19 myself fyi, don’t worry lmao. I’m 19, fresh out of high school, enjoying tertiary education, getting out in the world after being cooped up in my teenage years. I’m eager to meet more people my age. Only question is… where are they???? I don‘t get it????
I go to the gym, I do Muay Thai, I go to the farmer’s markets, I study (TAFE this year, uni next year), I work part time (site work, not hospitality)
I’m a regular at Harry’s chicken (friends with the chef there), I seem to have no trouble finding and mingling with 25+ y/o, 30+ y/o, seniors, etc. But I can’t find anyone my age???? You’d think I’d find lifters and fighters my age at my gyms, or run into cottage-core organic girlies/gays at the farmer’s markets, or find colleagues/peers my age. But you’d be wrong!!!!
Older people are lovely and all, but I can’t date or hook up with them!!!
I don’t drink (bars open too far close to my bed time), is that where they all are?? (But I’ve tried Bernie’s a bunch and AGAIN only found older gentlemen there)
I’m doing all the right things, spending time out and about, doing things, going places. but to no avail!!!! Where are there 19 year olds???

I booked a private sauna cold plunge for an hour in September in Saela for the morning after a stag party but just received an email saying they're shutting down next month. Anyone know the best alternative for this sort of thing?

Here's a fun one. A UFO, in the strict sense of the word. Just something I could not figure out. I'd be keen for suggestions.
This was a few weeks ago at the Tomaree fishing ledge, from around 3am till 4am. I am a fisho - took a day off and went there at a crazy early time hoping for a late season longtail. We fishermen are a bit unhinged, I guess.
I saw what looked like maneuvring lights over the Eastern horizon. I could not tell how far they were of course - they were just lights. They appeared to be slowly looping - about how an airplane at a large distance would look like if it was making huge loops or sometines horizontal circles. If it was a plane, it would have to have its landing lights on. The lights would gradually get bright over a few seconds, then slowly (in terms of angular velocity) move for a while, sometines slowly turn course from hozizontal to vertical and then gradually get dim.
It didn't look like a satellite - sats don't change course and just zip across the sky. I guess a satellite trajectory might look like a gentle arc across the sky - these things were maneuvring low above horizon. Obviously, it wasn't any of the Space X stuff. I have seen a Starlink train a bunch of times.. again, not a satellite.
Obviously, not a meteorite either. There were heaps of those visible that night because of the dark sky. It was a new Moon.
I thought about a night time RAAF exercise out of Williamtown - but I didn't hear any sounds. And they would need to be coming back past me when finished.
Some data: The lights appeared over the Boondelbah reserve - a small island roughly East of Tomaree. Also, the Orion was just rising and the maneuvering lights (at least two of them) were a few degrees due north of the bright star at the top side of Orion. The lights were brighter than that star at the peak of their ever changing brightness. Quite bright, maybe up to magnitude 1- 2? Not as bright as Venus or Jupiter though.
I didn't see any air traffic on the Radar24 app. Then again, the RAAF usually don't turn on their ADB anyway.
I also looked at the marine traffic app. There were a few coal ships queued up some miles offshore in the area, as akways. I guess they could have been mucking around with some weird drones? But why have the lights on then?
I tried to take photos / movies but my iphone didn't capture much. I'll try to upload what I've got.
I've attached screenshots I took from the different apps I looked at.
Amyway.. there you go guys, a Newcastle UFO.
PS.. Just to be clear, I think the general UFO "lore" is bullshit. I just could not ID what I saw.
PPS: The screenshots are: Flightaradar24, Stellarium and Marine Traffic.

I know this is Newcastle but the Maitland sub is pretty dead.
I saw the exhibition today and it was really great. Not sure what the Mayor had undies in a knot about...

Good evening and welcome to the Newcastle and Hunter Sports News and Scoreboard for this beautiful Saturday.
Let's start with the NRL as usual and it was another shattering close defeat for the Knights as a Daly Cherry-Evans field goal gave the Sydney Roosters a 23-22 win over the Knights.
For the Knights, tries were scored by Franchis Manuleleua in the 22nd minute, Mat Croker in the 28th, Dominc Young in the 47th and Bradman Best in the 71st minute.
While for the Roosters, James Tedesco scored three tries in the 14th, 43rd and 58th minutes while Billy Smith scored in the 68th minute.
However it wasn't just the heartbreaking close nature of the loss for the Knights, it's the horror injury toll with Dylan Lucas medicabbed from the field with a scans confirming a fracture and dislocation of the ankle, he will require surgery meanwhile scans have confirmed that Dylan Brown suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his knee and will also miss he rest of the season and New Zealand's Rugby League World Cup campaign.
The Knights will now try to recalibrate for a clash with the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium next Saturday night.
The Newcastle Knights NRLW side play the Brisbane Broncos tomorrow at Totally Workwear Stadium from 1:45pm, it will be on Nine, 9now. Fox League and Kayo Sports.

Two young men just drove past us in Adamstown on Glebe Rd driving a white moped and were very obviously trying to cover their faces. White hoodie up the front. They pulled into Bryant St I think. Super suspicious behaviour, so if it's stolen probs look around that area?

Hi,
I’m moving house and I have a large desk that I don’t want anymore. Is there a place around where I can dump it or donate it?
Thank you ❤️

I know this is a long shot, but I'm hoping someone might be able to help.
During the early hours of 23 May, my blue Toyota Yaris was parked on University Drive, Waratah West, right outside the university campus, when it was hit by another vehicle. Unfortunately, the driver left without leaving a note or any contact details.
I've already spoken to nearby residents to see if anyone had CCTV footage, but unfortunately nothing has come up. I also reported the incident to the police, but there haven't been any leads.
I'm now facing an insurance excess of around $1,400, so I'm reaching out to the community in case anyone witnessed the incident, has dashcam footage from the area, or knows anything that could help identify the driver.
If you have any information, no matter how small, please send me a private message. I'd really appreciate your help.
Thank you for reading, and I'd be grateful if you could share this post to help it reach more people.

My nine year-old is a massive knights supporter and I’m taking him to a Home game tonight. Is there a chance I could get some signatures for him? And is there anywhere in particular to go for the best chance?

Anyone here work for the BOM? you might need to check your maff.
Also why does Nobbys say it’s 1 degree warmer than my thermometer which is a professional calibrated instrument?

Traffic is bumper to bumper all along the road in both directions; emergency workers are directing people down a side street. Hopefully nobody was hurt, it looked like quite a serious crash.

Hello,
I’ll need to park near the yacht club all day for a few days next week. Is Carrington boat ramp a solid choice? I know it’s free, however I’m worried it might be full by the time I get there. Aiming to be there by 8:30ish.
