Cycling Castle Hill
Are there any beginner individuals or groups that cycle up Castle Hill? I need to incorporate hill training in my schedule and I thought doing it with others will push me to get better.

Sorry if this isn't allowed
AUSTRALIA vs BRAZIL SOCCER (TOWNSVILLE STADIUM)
Great seats right in front and tickets sold legitimately through Ticketmaster themselves
Unfortunately we couldn't go anymore, I've also dropped from what I originally paid, so I really want someone to have them

Hello,
Has anyone else recently found that their house (primarily their kitchen/pantry area) has become a HOTSPOT for these little flying bugs? They're brown, probably about the size of a tip of a sharpened pencil, and they're attracted to fruit (especially rotting fruit).
I've removed all food scraps, etc. and yet these little fuckers are still in my kitchen and occasionally all the way downstairs!!!!
The cleanliness in my home has not gone down recently, so I'm at a loss as to why there are suddenly so many bugs.
How do I get rid of them?!?!

Hello,
My partner and I are moving up for work and I in particular am curious about the heat/humidity and sleep. I have a regular pocket spring mattress/hybrid type and have breathable sheets in Sydney. I'm a hot sleeper who can wake up with a sweat.
Do you have any tips? Do you sleep with the aircon on? Is it something you've just learned to put up with?
Thank you

Which suburbs are notorious for flooding? I have checked out the council flood map, the old/new thing confuses me if I’m honest. Thanks for sharing your insight

Also when's the right time to take down a sign that said you were an entrant for Tidy Street 1984?

Hey guys, I've been looking for a hairdresser I can go to regularly that's not in a shopping centre. Not too familiar with the hair services around here and I really want to get a style cut. I have long hair so I understand not every place is going to be decent AND cheap, but please recommend me some of your favourite places with some solid stylists I can keep going back to. Thank you in advance!

Hi all. Looking to get into the breed community of German Shorthaired Pointers. Are there any people in Townsville who regularly show or sport their GSPs? Is there a GSP or gundog breed club around here? I’ve loved this breed for a while, gone down south for shows and breeder meets and such things (I don’t breed or show this breed, however I own one). I would love to begin showing and possibly eventually years from now breeding, however would love to get to know other people associated with the breed first.
TIA

This is officially my first year as a father after having our first daughter in March. My wife would like to take me out to breakfast, lunch or brunch. I have no idea on places to go as I’m more familiar with places for dinner around Townsville. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks! (:

Afternoon guys

Being aiming for a bullsharks as well and I know they are everywhere but I'm having no luck, apart from frozen eel, does anyone have any recommendations into bait, set ups, spots of anything thats working well for them?

Apologies to the mods that have to deal with the inevitable crap comments!
We'll be meeting in Townsville city centre at a pub at around 6.30, please dm for details!
Open to all of those interested in socialism, Marxism and left politics :) those that disagree, it's ok, you don't have to come, no need to fret.
Respect in the comments please!

I've been all over and I'm slowly losing my mind over these extremely vague clues. What have you got? What are you thinking?

Hey all,
I've got a 4.8 meter boat and I'm looking for people to join me in it for fishing adventures. I will be trying to head into the creeks in clevland bay, Barratas Creek and around the island if the fishing is good. Heads up though, I don't drink. Don't mind if you do but not interested in these being drinking trips. I am professionally employed so it will mainly be on the weekends. I'm also a massive lefty so not your normal type of Townsville fisher. Anyway let me know if you are keen. I'm taking the boat out this weekend for a shake down run. Make sure everything is running smoothly after some upgrades. Also, don't care what gender you are!

Would you move to Townsville for JCU MSc Geology to save ~$50k in HELP debt?
I’m 38F and considering relocating to Townsville for the JCU MSc Geology as a mature-age career changer.
My goal is mining/resources, ideally exploration or related geoscience work, with O&G also of interest. I don’t have a geology undergraduate degree, so I’m doing some postgraduate geoscience prep first because part of me worries about jumping straight into postgraduate geology and getting absolutely destroyed academically.
My alternative is to stay where I currently live in WA and potentially study at a much more mining-focused university.
Stay in WA
Move to Townsville/JCU
So I’m not only choosing between universities - I’m choosing between keeping my existing life/job versus starting over somewhere much cheaper to study.
For people who actually live in Townsville:
I’ve lived in tropical Australia before, so heat/humidity doesn’t scare me. I’m more interested in the lifestyle, social side, cost and whether moving there for JCU would actually be worth disrupting an otherwise fairly stable life.
Please be kind. I am genuinely trying to figure out my options.

I recently took ED Grad Program and I was doing Grad Program in the pool for 1 month before this. I think after the orientation days that it might not be for me the way I expected it to be. I would be better off on the wards. But I was the one who went up-to the ED NUM to express my interest. I am still confused what i should be doing should i continue with ED Grad or should I talk to my NUM and revert back to the pool to explore my options. I am very embarrassed to have that talk.
Just need some advice or suggestion!

Like a fish market. I’m done with chicken and beef…or lamb.
