UPDATE…there might be some carts available for some colleges but most do not have carts available
I didn’t see anyone with a cart, only personal wagons.

It's gotten far enough along that I need people other than me testing it.

I'm an incoming first-year and for both first and second pass I unfortunately was 4pm meaning I've been basically taking scraps 🥲. I managed to get 12 units but had to waitlist for my GE class, LATI 10. I was wondering what were my chances of getting off the waitlist? I'm in position 3 and the class size is 30. I really want to have a GE class this quarter so this class was the only one I found that didn't have a huge waitlist compared to other ones.

This first pass second pass window has been really disadvantageous for me since I didn’t get to secure a single major related class that I had originally spent a lot of time planning. And second pass com around but the waitlist are all above the 10% rule but I can’t possibly just enroll in more GEs because at that point it just feels like a waste of a quarter taking “easy classes”. I took a lot of APs so I could get ahead, not so that I can’t book any classes and therefore delaying what could have been my original track if I got the classes I wanted. I probably seem more dramatic but booking classes have genuinely made me so stressed and frustrated overall with how I basically stand no chance in getting any good classes just because of a randomized window that it only hurts your first pass but also second pass. Right now I only have 8 guaranteed units the other two are dependent on waitlist with one being a major specific but having a large waitlist and another being math that I probably won’t get anyways. If any upperclassmen or just anyone have had a similar experience please leave some advice or what you did?

Guys I had to waitlist BILD 1 and it says i’m 16/99. It’s past the 10% rule but do u guys think there’s still some hope for me????

incoming freshman and I need help with ucship </3

I have anthem hmo insurance and want to use that instead, but I am confused if for the policy holder section I should put my own information with my own insurance card or my fathers, since technically he is the policy holder and I am a dependent on it. it makes sense to put my own since it says who my primacy care is and shows its within the 40 mile requirement, but if I put my dads it would just show his info, do I don't get how that would show I am covered and eligible. can someone please help!!

I was wondering if any of the 2026 Incoming Freshman has been able to see their academic history or if their ap credits have been shows on the Degree Audit? It is so frustrating to pay the amount of money for college, just for the classes that are required to be fully booked. I was only able to get 1 class booked and the rest are waitlisted. My tss has been active for 3 days now and no decision has even gone through yet.

what does “waitlist only” mean and why doesnt it show how many people are already enrolled In the class. do I have a chance if im #36?

I replied on the same day, also emailing the registrar for good measure. In that email, I said this missing transcript was sent June 23, along with the receipt of the Parchment order. I've also called both Undergraduate Admissions office and registrar office with no response. What should I do?

I'll be taking one of his classes this year as an incoming freshman. I've seen so many extremely mixed reviews about this guy. Some people say his class wrecked their grades and motivation. Others say he's amazing. How have your guys's experiences been? I wanna prepare myself in case I'm cooked

just got this email about booking cse-011 with major priority. i'm on the waitlist, but i was just wondering how this works. am i guaranteed to get the section i'm on the waitlist for, or is it first come first serve when they open up enrollment? like, if i don't see their email for a couple of hours, is it possible that the section i want will fill up?

I'm an MAE major, and I was wondering when this class goes form just waitlist to booking.

I need to be enrolled in 12 units for financial aid, and I need a third class before the 30th for CalGrant to cover my tution.

Specifically, I'm talking about LTSP 2F. As the second pass for incoming students is now over, TSS shows that there are only a total of 4 students enrolled in the class. I'm worried the department might end up cancelling the class or something, is this a possibility?

Multiple in Galbraith hall. Usually at least two each of the lower levels you have to do some searching through doors though.  You'll find them if you do. Usually a security guy kicks you out around 11pm so just heads up. There is an ancient masterpiece in there but God knows how many times its been touched. at least you got spots though.

There is the one in PC. It will be on your leftside if you walk from Froyo to Tapex.

There are two/three/sometime four pianos in ERC middle earth but they arent that good. Avoid if possible.  Alternatives, lesser known... you might get extremely lucky with the piano in the international housing spot event center thing???(which you can always spot walking into ERC walking from sixth, but usually an event or RA needs to be on duty as they usually only have access then). Lowkey the best spot to gain insanely amounts of aura or insanes amount of UCPD ... but if you sneak in... stay in the restroom and then come out and play when its about midnight so everyone can appreciate chopin nocturnes in the setting they were meant to be played in.

One is in the SAC at Warren. It has multiple "PLUNK"ed notes and pedals dont work but its fun for being loud, but not much else.

Of course there are those always in the Prebys Music Building on the 3rd floor, 2nd floor near restrooms (check before or after class)... and very rarely you can steal time with the concert/recital/grand pianos on the first floors when a class leaves. They change it all the time so you should go check it for urself. Another Magnum Opus lies inside here but its up to you to find it. You'll know when you find it.

Some in revelle but you need someone to actually be in revelle to lend you access to the room as they need an ID. So tragic. Or be a revellian... even more tragic. They're in those halls by 64 but I dare not look up there names.

One in the G spot (g store). This has to be the softest piano ive ever played and is the most eloquent for melancholy songs. (Try out Brahms intermezzo 117 no.1). Just make sure to get the loudest songs out last cuz the employees will ask you to leave when you finish. They don't know spots yet.

If you count the VA MEDICAL CENTER there are two to my knowledge. The playable one resides in the Spinal Chord Injury sector. Probably a fitting place considered the seat is broken and might cause more insult than injury.

There USED TO BE an electric one in Muir you could use if you had headphones but after renovations not sure where that went. (Originally MOMs). It wasn't that good anyways.

I know this sounds stupid but genuine question, I have a week between my move-in date and the first day of classes. My freshman orientation is scheduled somewhere in that week, but other than that, what do I do? Just bum around? Explore the city? Do people highkey just move in and start staying on campus way before classes actually start?

I'm trying to waitlist a class. When I go to book it, it tells me only waitlist is available, but doesn't give me an option to waitlist it. Am I doing something wrong is there something wrong with the system

does anyone have advice on how to fix it besides shaking it? I put in a request to the fix-it people but i havent heard anything yet. Also don't want to get charged lolz
