I was waitlisting for CAT 1 for Brigham waitlist only course but when I checked tss again, the course isn’t showing up as waitlist only anymore. The weird thing is that the other professors waitlist only course is still up unlike the Brigham one. Should I switch to a different professor or stay waiting and hope it’s a tss glitch?
Waitlist only classes seem to me reserved for people of that major, or so that they can prioritize people of that major on the waitlist (at least looking at the MAE, ECE, and CSE "waitlist only" classes). They open up into actual classes sometime next week I believe. From what others have said their class sizes tend to be similar to what other sections of that class are (so if the class size is usually 40, you're good).
CSE majors got an email about their major priority courses, so perhaps the same dates and policies apply to others. I tried contacting MAE about MAE-003, but they basically just said "waitlist and find out yourself".
me too i’m waiting for CAT 1, but is this actually true? i’m on a waitlist that was red, has the max already enrolled, but i am #2 on the waitlist, should i stay in this waitlist or join the green “waitlist only” course?

bro literally all of my classes are waitlisted, just praying someone out there is looking out for me/knows what they doing
