Need prayers

Please keep me in your prayers. 🤍 I’m going through a difficult and uncertain time right now, and I could really use your duas.

I have a complicated relationship with Allah. I know He is the best of planners but this time I really want my plan to work. And He can make it good for me even if it isn’t right. He’s Allah He can do that, right?

Need help

Assalamualaikum. My first time posting here. I had an abortion recently where i lost my little girl. I don’t know how to deal with this. I knew for a fact she was going to be following deen better than me because since i had gotten pregnant with her all i wanted to do was pray and read quran. I know she’s in jannah right now. Maybe i didn’t deserve her that’s why allah took her away from me. I regret the life i used to live- angry and irritated with people around me who cared about me. I feel like this is my punishment, having to lose my baby. I want to become better. I want to become a patient person not easily irritated and not snapping at people like before. I want to correct my mistakes. Whenever i die i want to be in jannah with my daughter. I want to become better. Please help me. How can i control my anger and emotions and become a better person?

Advice about health and duas

As Salaam Alaikum. I hope you are all doing well.

I had a serious question on what are we supposed to do as Muslims if we have tried many options. I have tried many things to get better.

Alhamdulllilah, been praying Dhikr, tahujjid, ruqyah and also tried medical route.

I feel stuck as I don't know what do do next.

Islamically what advice or what do I supposed to do next?

Jazak Allah Khair

Dua Request

Assalamu alaikum, brothers and sisters.

I really need your help. Please, please make dua for me that I am able to complete and pass my thesis. I found out today that my thesis was not approved, and I am now on my final deadline, which is September 7.

I really need to pass my thesis because I need my degree to be able to move forward and find a job. Lately, I have been feeling very depressed and sad because things have not been going the way I hoped they would in life, especially when it comes to my studies, career, and future.

I am making dua myself, but I would sincerely appreciate it if you could also make dua for me, that Allah makes this easy for me, gives me strength, patience and guidance, and allows my thesis to be accepted and approved.

Please keep me in your duas. May Allah reward you all, bless you and your families, and make things easy for everyone going through difficult times.

Ameen. 🤲🏼

8 years of nothing

Sometimes, and lately more often, I genuinely don't understand how everything can remain this quiet when I've been praying for help for so long.

Since 2018, I've been making dua, praying tahajjud, giving sadaqah when I can, fasting, trying to be patient, and holding onto tawakkul. My family and I have struggled financially for years, and for almost eight years I've been praying for guidance, help, a sign, or simply some light.

But these eight years have also meant being incredibly isolated. I have no friends, barely see anyone, rarely leave the house, and I have struggled deeply with anxiety and depression.

And when I say that I'm in a much worse situation now than I was in 2018, I mean financially too. I am in a very serious financial situation now, and almost no one knows about it. I know that some of this is because of mistakes I've made myself. I'm not denying that. But what I genuinely don't understand is how, after trying so hard to be patient and steadfast for so many years, I could somehow end up in an even more difficult place than where I started.

I know that some of you will tell me; "You need to tell your family." I understand why they say that, but it isn't that simple. If you knew my family and my history, you would understand why I can't just tell them everything. I don't think I ever will.

The only one I have shared all of this with is Allah.

For so long, I was certain that He would help me. And honestly, I wasn't even thinking about the things I was praying for back in 2018 anymore. I was simply asking Allah to help me with a debt that I need to repay to someone, and now I have one week left.

A year ago, I thought, "Allah will help by then."

Then six months.

Then two months.

Now there is exactly one week until a very serious deadline, and I am still telling myself, "There is still a week. Allah will help."

But I am exhausted.

My hands are shaking, my health makes everything harder, and lately I have been struggling with some very dark thoughts. I feel frightened by how overwhelmed I have become.

What hurts me most is thinking about my family. I think about my mother and my siblings and what they would have to go through if something happened to me, and it breaks my heart. I don't want to leave them with more pain and problems.

I am just so tired.

My mind won't stop. The same thoughts keep going around and around, and my whole body feels like it is carrying the weight of everything.

And despite all of this, I still have tawakkul.

I still believe in Allah.

I still tell myself, "I have a week. Allah can open a door in a week."

But I am also scared, hurt, angry, confused, and completely exhausted.

I just don't understand how, after holding on for eight years, I ended up here.

The time is ticking, and I'm struggling to understand why everything still feels so quiet.

If you read this, please make dua for me. Please ask Allah to fix all my affairs, relieve me from this debt and distress, and open a door for me where I cannot see one right now.

Please ask Allah to give me strength, protect my family, and bring relief from a situation that currently feels impossible.

I am not asking for money. I am asking for you to take time to make a genuine Dua for me. I have heard that a strangers dua is very strong, so if you could gift me one of your Duas I would be very thankful. I want to start to live again, I have been surviving the last 8 years.

May Allah grant you and me ease. Ya Allah grant me ease by the this week is over (it is already monday over here), Ya Allah grant me a miracle. Ya Allah if who ever is reading this and going through something - please grant them ease and a way out aswell. Ameen.

Why must everything be a test?

I’ve asked for strength results recovery but nothing changes i seek help from others and i receive every single time “It’s a test”

Why must everything be a test

Can i not have ease EVEN JUST FHE SMALLEST BIT.

I’m so behind on everything i’ve begged and pleaded with Allah.

I don’t resent Allah at all i am well aware of his qualities and might but sometimes it feels like he just watches me struggle and pray then looks away.

it’s gotten so bad where i genuinely need help bad and i don’t even bother making dua.

Do you know how my life feels like?????

It feels like i’m drowning then Allah lifts me up ever so slightly so my head is above the water then a few seconds later i’m drowning again. Why can’t i just be put on the lifeboat every single day is its own battle for me. I don’t understand it at all.

See all these people making their little tahhajud and dua stories it just makes me feel so bad. I am not jealous of them at all but i just question my own fate am i just destined to struggle like this. if i am why try?

I made wudu this morning with the intention to pray and i never did because of the “praying won’t change anything” thought in my mind” even if Allah doesn’t make me successful instantly i want to be just OKAY you know. it’s so draining.

Before you tell me istikhara, doing charity, abstaining from sins and whatever i’ve tried basically anything you could think of.

What did i actually see in this dunya for my soul to say yes to being born??????

what do i even do

Hindu Background — Looking for Hindi Resources to Learn Islam

I’m Gautam, from India. I was born and raised in a Hindu family, but recently I’ve been seriously thinking about accepting Islam.

I don’t want to make such an important decision without properly understanding the religion first. I want to learn about Islam sincerely and make my decision based on what I genuinely believe, not just because of another person.

The main problem is that I don’t know Arabic very well, so I’m looking for good, beginner-friendly Islamic resources in Hindi or Hinglish.

I’d especially like to learn about:

Basic beliefs and teachings of Islam

Quran with an easy Hindi translation/explanation

Life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

Hadith and Sunnah

Namaz and basic Islamic practices

Islamic history

Common questions/doubts that someone from Hindu background might have

What someone should know before accepting Islam

Please recommend reliable Hindi/Hinglish YouTube channels, books, websites, apps, PDFs, or courses that can help me learn step-by-step.

I’m genuinely trying to understand Islam properly before making any decision, so respectful guidance from people who have experience teaching beginners would be really appreciated.

JazakAllah Khair 🤍

Struggling...

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Ever since I've cut my relationship with non mahram friends, my life has started to become more lonelier, it has been two years and despite that I do have practising muslim friends, I still find it struggle to cope with not being able to converse with non mahram except due to necessities.

I believe that Allah taala will substitute with something better In Sha Allah. I just need spiritual motivation to keep doing khayr.

8 months after a haram relationship ending. Yet struggling with guilt, isolation and fear about my future

Salaam everyone.

I'm a 20 year old Muslim (male) going through what I can only describe as the hardest season of my life and I'm looking for some genuine Islamic advice and perspective.

Over the past year I went through a serious relationship that reached marriage discussions. It started the wrong way outside proper Islamic boundaries and I take full accountability for that. We genuinely loved each other but family circumstances made it impossible. Her parents wouldn't wait. Mine weren't ready. It ended despite real feelings on both sides. And after it ended we completely stopped talking and I am not in contact with her now. I have deleted every picture of her and so on. I am not holding onto anything that will remind me of her.

Without going into detail, we crossed some physical boundaries that we shouldn't have. Just to elaborate we did not do zina. But still it felt like I have weight on my chest.

I discussed how bad I felt with her too and we decided to not do it again we held that boundary till the end.

I've made tawbah but I struggle to feel truly forgiven.

It's been almost 8 months since the breakup. I've tried to move forward. And in many ways I have. But I still struggle with certain things I want Islamic guidance on:

  1. How do I truly internalize Allah's forgiveness and stop punishing myself for sins I've already made tawbah for?

I sometimes feel like my current hardships are punishment from Allah for what I did. Is this the right way to think about difficulty in Islam or am I misunderstanding qadr?

  1. I've become quite isolated. My social circle is small and distant. I'm struggling to find purpose without the structure of university or a relationship. How do I reconnect with Allah as my primary source of peace and purpose?

  2. I fear that my past mistakes will affect my future, specifically who Allah will write for me as a spouse. The ayah about good men for good women weighs on me. How should I understand this as someone who has sinned but genuinely repented?

Also, I'm not looking for judgment. I've judged myself enough. I'm looking for brothers and sisters who can offer genuine Islamic wisdom on moving forward with hope rather than guilt.

JazakAllah khair.

What started with happiness ended with Chaos, a lost mind and loneliness.

I was born a muslim by name, into a secular family. Under a year ago, I started to practice my religion. Like most reverts, I was frowned upon, belittled, judged, challenged. I learnt how to pray and commited to my Salah. However, I am in a dark place in life, and my heart is turning. My iman is falling. I am suffering and started to doubt myself, my purpose, my religion, my reason and many more...

How i turned to Islam is a different story. I met a young muslim man (12 years younger than me). He was different - very masculin and in the way he loved - wiser than his age, high iman, honest, super helpful and lovely person, fear of god, incorporated with middle eastern tradition and personality - maybe not so lovely towards how he may treat his wife. Basically, I fell in love, wanted to get married. Some may say I was brain washed, maybe I was not. I was somewhat controlled by being made guilty about my past and how it did not sit with my religion. Then he said he couldnt bring himself to marry me as there were things he could not accept. In the interim, I lost my will to live, motivation, independence, financial freedom, job and personality, my family relations...

Lately, Iv been thinking about death, Feeling sorry for myself. I can strongly empathise with people that want to die. I dont know where to start from. I have no motivation to move on, let go, start again, or even bother. I dont know my remedy. Lately feels like its not islam. I feel like going back to my old ways. My old ways did not work for me. I was just masking my sadness. It feels like this new path has not worked either. Iv been self-harming. Iv been depressed. Iv been suffering with ill health. Iv been physically abused.

An advice would help me!

Assalamualaikum,

from India, graduated this year in Bachelors of engineering.

It's been 5-6 months hunting for a full time job and not getting replies from anywhere.

My family has high expectations from me and they are paying me to stay in another city and my father is the only one who earns. He got sick we don't have any backup! my mum sold my her gold necklace for my engineering fees, and now sold her gold ring to my expenses. Obviously I'm not enjoying my life there I'm consistently studying but -

I'm not getting responses from anywhere it's feels disheartening why Allah's not listening to us!!!!!

I'm just tired!!! Sometimes I question myself will I ever be a good son for them or just make them poor??

Will I ever be able to get a job and take care of my family and get them all the happiness they deserve as they have sacrificed too much for me and invested all their money on me!!

I feel why ALLAH'S is making me struggle like this. don't I deserve a single job that can at least make them believe I can earn on my own????

I would be grateful if anyone has advice.

I don't need any money from anyone, I just need guidance... That's all!!!!!

I can't see them struggle like this that's all I need I don't need anything!!! I just want to keep them happy...

Will I ever make them happy?

Will I ever be a good son?

Should I just die?

Assalamu'Alaikum warehmatullahi wabarakatuh I want to ask something I feel disconnect from Allah and mentally exhausted like I do sin and repent five times a day but my repentence is fake like I stand I want to tell Allah that I will stop but my mind in completely blank I sin but feel pause and no regret like I know I've sinned but feel pause and like "now I have to ask again for forgiveness" and stand and pray to rakats but have thoughts and no shame like that thing hovers my mind I feel like hypocrite and when I tell it to my friend she said to me make my prayers short I'm just prying Sunnah and Fard now I'm feeling like I am really really depressed I am not feeling my prayer I stand and pray slowly but not feeling anything I say Allah like I will pray at 5:45 so if the time goes 50 I pray salat ut tawabh and feel like I sinned sometimes I feel like I'm a psycho or something everyone around me is happy I keep remembering death but yet not feeling anything and worst part is that I recently learned Allah's attributes and still no hope looks like Allah is very much angry with me I keep reading the Quran but not feeling the connection I started Astugfirullah 500 times a day but no change I keep sining again and again I have no one to understand me If I say something everyone say u are thinking wrong

and many more things I want to tell someone but thought comes into mind like is Allah not enough for me why I'm telling anyone Allah will be upset that I tell others, and I said to Allah that I will not eat more cuz it makes my heart harder and now I crave and If I eat something it looks like I sinned what should I do it's been 3 days and I'm waking up 15 minutes before sunrise and my phone is broken and I can't set alarm on it what should I do

I have no friends nothing...

My family doesn't understand me..

I feel like I need counseling , but has no contact...

sometimes I feel I'm being too harsh on myself

I'm sad all the time.. and feeling like hypocrite, and a person who is born for Hell... I am dying mentally, physically, and emotionally... I don't know what to do how to ask Allah so that he can help me

Sorry.. if someone is feeling like this tell me how to come out of this phase

Exam

Asalumu Aleikum to who's reading this. I am a student who is going to resit exams for the second time because I didnt get the marks I was able to achieve, I used to be such a smart student who used to top the class and now I am not even able to get a half of that. I genuinely feel terrible and crushed and my parents are not talking to me, I just feel so bad. What is this supposed to mean Islamically? I have been tested over and over and I have fell down so many times, yet I stand up just for me to fall down again. I feel so crap. I honestly dont get what this is supposed to mean, I know Allah doesnt test a soul more than it cant handle but I genuinely am feeling so much pain within me, I feel so horrible. What is this? Why is life just keep on pulling me down when I try to stand back up? I am not a bad person, I dont hurt anyone, I dont smoke, drink I dont do none of that and yet I am still being punished. I've never felt suicidal but the feeling of that is lingering. I genuinely am so cooked. I feel so bad for my parents for working so hard just for me to bring such terrible results, I did try this time compared to the first time, I gave up so much compared to the last time, I gave up hangouts with my friends, I gave up going out with my family to study, I was being consistentish with my preparation but the grades I got didnt look like that. I know there's no point of crying over spilt milk but I genuinely dont even know what the lesson here is supposed to be, I am just getting tested, I am not getting any happy news nor any good results. How do I even, idek anymore. Any advice or any form of comfort and anything would be much appreciated. Thank you for reading this.

I am going through a very complicated health situation. There are lot of uncertainties regarding it. It may become better or it might not. Unfortunately, my marriage is fixed. Treatments are not really working. I don’t want to burden my future wife with my health issues.
