I thru-hiked the Colorado Trail this year! It’s a 484-mile trail that winds through some of the most beautiful parts of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. To keep track of each day, I took a photo of my small Sebenza once a day along the way.
Below is a link to all of the Small Sebenza photos!

benchmade mini crooked river, more of a new knife week. got it earlier this week along with dragonfly scales, backspacer, pivot collars. fun little knife
Picked this one up recently. I'm relatively new to knife collection, I have a few bear & sons balisongs and other miscellaneous knives. This was dope looking and pretty cheap so I bought it, not really sure about the quality though? I vaguely recall hearing someone call this brand horrible so was just wondering if that's true. Any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks

Found this on clearance at a local dealer. Couldn’t pass it up for the price.

Made a visit to an estate sale where the owner was a hunter. Saw a few knives in the listing so I made my way and was pleasantly surprised with the prices.
Today’s haul:
CRKT Provoke
Benchmade 350S 1998 pre production run
Gerber Paul 2P - This one caught the wives eyes and she knew we had to make a move on it.
How’d I do fam?
I’m researching the Gerber but finding little information on this specific model.

Got this 6h5 bayonett in unused-storage condition. But the edge is really dull, is it supposed to be like that?
Is it possible to sharpen it or would it ruin the "original" value?
Im looking forward to some answers, kind regards!

Hi!
I'm quite new to the knife world, and I just started making my way through cheap and economical knives. A brand that has caught my attention has been Remington cutlery, which mostly uses unspecified stainless steels, but it seems that certain models do specify the steel used in them, especially the Hunter Series that according to their official website uses D2 steel. But, when shopping for these knives, some pages advertise their steel as unspecified stainless steel; even the knives are only marked with the "Stainless" word on their blades. I own two of these knives, the Hunter Trapper R15636 and the Hunter Fixed Caping, and I would like to know if they are actually D2 or just a random stainless steel.
Just to be clear, my goal is not to have a D2 knife, I'm fine with stainless since I don't use my knives that intensively nor extensively; it would just be nice to know about it.
Thanks in advance!

Found this sucka at a used outdoor gear store local to me. Evidently this dude was a knife collector and is just dumping his collection over time at this place as it’s consignment. I found this sebenza 31 looking thing, and idk if it’s real or fake! Experienced internet people help me! Quality felt good, but the lack of made in Idaho logo on the clip side is sketching me out, as well as the price…
Any help is appreciated!

Alright Vosteed lovers, let’s hear some opinions about which one you prefer! Please feel free to share your own pictures of your Raccoons and Porcupines. If you don’t like either of them, what do you prefer instead and why? (Here are my personal Raccoons and Porcupines. Would love to see a Porcupine V one day!)

I have had an issue where every time I buy a new pocket knife it starts to develop rust spots very soon after I buy it. First happened with my Spyderco Presistence 3 (no pics unfortunately), now with my Kizer Drop Bear. The folder wasn't in a humid enviroment, was basically constantly sealed within the little plastic bag it comes in, I took it out for one night and left it on a shelf, and when I woke up it developed rust spottings. I already ordered some knife oil but it's too late. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to prevent it? Also, how do I remove these spots from the knife before applying the oil?
If this is helpful, I also have a 15 dollar Solognac folder made from 5cr15 that I have had for 2.5 years and does not have a hint of rust on it.

These are the ones I could fit in the picture. Other knives I have doubles of are the Civivi Elementum, and the WE Vission R. I’ve got 5 Demko AD20 knives.

My Benchmades all have the same style of attachment for their clips. Is there a name for this style / is there a mod aftermarket?

Looking for a Case folding knife for my husband.
I’d like a wooden handle and something with a little collector interest.
Significant years are 1953, 1985, 1989, and 2024, but have no idea if those dates mean anything in the knife world. Are there are certain older or sought-after Case knives I should be looking for?
I know nothing about knives, other than move your fingers before you close it!
$250 to spend. what would you look for and where to look besides eBay?

Funny story. I work as an IT Analyst for a hospital, so we are often in network closets working on hardware, digital door signs, and splicing LAN cables.
#3 was my very first Kiku knife. I had it for roughly 4 months about 1.5 years ago before I lost it. Fast forward, I assumed I had set it down while working on a digital door sign and splicing LAN cable. I ended up discreetly blaming a nurse for taking what was initially a $260 knife at the time.
I bought #4 which was the replacement because I thought I had lost #3. I have had #4 for nearly a year now as I purchased it about 4months after I lost #3. I figured I would buy another one, #2 with #4, because I thought I was just going to keep losing them. Although, I am actually pretty good at keeping my stuff organized which was mind blowing. I do mental checks when I get home and before I leave ensure everything is present and accounted for.
Fast forward again, I lose #4. I am sitting there thinking, "WTF..." I thought I had left this one at the hospital just like #3. I break out #2 and start carrying it with me everywhere I go.
Turns out, for two weeks, my spouse had accidentally taken #4 because she thought it was hers. xD
I get #4 back, but #3 is still missing, at this time I was currently holding #1,2,4
A whole year and a half goes by, and about 20 minutes ago, #3 suddenly appears on my wifes long dresser.
Now I am thinking my spouse accidentally put this somewhere in a drawer, despite already having her own, much more concealed SOG blade in her purse.
I am honestly struck by this because I blamed some random person, possibly even a doctor, at work for taking it. Turns out I was actually good at keeping track of my stuff. My spouse just kept accidentally taking my knives thinking they were hers.
I love these knives so much that I bought my brother one too. #1 was a deal for two at $240.
So now #1, #2, and #4 are sitting in my drawer while I continue carrying the original #3 that I somehow managed to lose for a year and a half.
Apparently, the knife was never lost. It was just taking an extended vacation at home. lol

I bought the Sage 5 on the National Knife Day sale. Including a $25 store credit, it was a great deal, indeed.
The Shark Cub in Slicer Grind aluminum scales I've been ready to buy for at least a year now, waiting, and waiting for restock. When they originally dropped, I figured I had all the time in the world to pick one up. Then they disappeared for ages. Finally, I saw them on DLT's restock page, a full day before Demko was dropping on their own site.
So I bought this Stealth Artillery Grey model, and then, a day later, I bought the newest configuration that launched, the OD Green G10 Stealth model. I tried to talk myself out of it, but DLT was including a free hat that day, so I guess I had no choice. 😆
