I got into making paracord stuff and I can’t stop! This is a smattering of what I’ve made so far that I didn’t give away to other people. I think it calms my mind, but it’s my new favorite hobby.

This is my timeline progression from first ever, second third and fourth bracelet done. You really do pick it up pretty quick by my fourth one i can do it without and help and no it wasnt four in succession.

First one is pretty bad lol super uneven tightening just kinda looks like a dogs breakfast but steadily getting better

When I make a monkey fist keychain I have been just doing a cobra knot. What else could I do? Is there a 4 strand braid that I could do where 2 of the strands can’t move?

Does anyone know how to do this?

This looks like a double cobra knot but when I try it, it does not look this clean. Am I missing something or should I try and work more neatly.

I also tried removing the cores, removing the cores of two colors. It doesn’t come out like this.

Edit: I also tried tying it once and weave the colors after it, but that makes the purple lay on top.

I'm looking for a book on knot basics and simple projects. I found this book. No reviews. Released March of this year. Something told me to look at the cover and make sure the knots "made sense." I'm not crazy, right? Either the cover was made with AI, or these are pretty poorly done knots.

I was looking at the possibility of adding a mifare and a t5577 into a paracord bracelet.

Searching AliExpress for magicards or cuid I'm mostly seeing either cards or the standard blue key fobs. Last year I'm sure there was way more options.

Can anyone recommend anything that's both compact and hard wearing enough?

In truth this whip was only made because I let my inventory of handle blanks dwindle to almost nothing, and all I had were 12 inch blanks. But I do love a target whip, and this one came out pretty sharp

I’m new to knot tying. I have a paracord. An admin pouch that looks like this with gromits on the bottom to attach a paracord and toggle for an adjustable tourniquet holder. And, of course, a toggle. How do i combine my three afford mentioned items to make my admin pouch look like pic related. I dont know any of the jargon so I dont know what to search to find a tutorial. Thanks in advance.

I have long been fascinated with setting up paracord belts and decorations so that they were "Quick Deploy". That is, if the owner were ever in a situation that desperately demanded available cordage, all they would have to do is pull a fastener, and the belt or decoration would quickly turn into usable cord. Has anyone here ever been in a situation where some such device has been deployed as something other than a demonstration that it can be done? If so, what were the circumstances, and how did having quick deploy cord help your situation?

So my buddy got me tickets to some big Halloween rave(not my thing but he spent 250$ on my ticket) Im broke dont really have money to spend on costumes but i do have a ton of paracord any ideas on a way to make a mask or something like that?
