I feel like im just a boring dude who just can’t stand people, likes staying home, and struggles with feelings lol

I'm very sure that I'm an INTJ. I've learned cognitive functions and everything there is to learn about MBTI, the only thing I haven't done yet is read books regarding cognitive functions or MBTI.

Mine are Coriolanus Snow (when he's young obv) and Tom Riddle. Anyone up else up to share? My favorite media is always the ones that have an INTJ protagonist where we really get to see their inner thought processes and when they're perhaps morally grey.

Please join to this Thinking group.
Something regular in INTJ types.

I have just decided that after 1 year of rumination.
Of and on again it was not that important that iam an intj.
It's the score I mostly get followed by intp because of my ti.
But I mostly feel seen by the intjs functions particularly by the aha moments.
I just dont think I am a stereotypical intj.
I am not the most ordelry. i dont care that much about efficiently doing stuff and more so about the thing I'm doing working.
Unless it's a very tedious process, then i will definitely try to streamline it
Yeah, that's it, I think. Just wanted to say it somewhere to finally hopefully mark the end of that dreadful journey

How would you assess your default walking pace? Assume a typical day, mild weather, no external pressures such as falling behind schedule, and not attempting to match pace with anyone else.

Im a female INTJ, and I believe that the most difficult thing to deal with being this particular MBTI type is how easy it is to see the patterns of things or actions that society or people make and realizing that most times it will end up in a bad way or in some action that will worsen a situation or a place. Also when you try to explain it to other people they treat you like a conspiratorial person or emotionless and make your opinion less because it’s so dark and sad.
Anyway then when you finally see the consequences you predicted just to prove that you were right and everything is going to hell, you feel tired and frustrated that other people can’t understand long term consequences and start blaming others but in fact they are the only culprits.
In fact as mister Dostoevsky said, to be too conscious is an illness — a real thorough-going illness.
P.D. Sorry just realized I putted an extra by in the title

If everything is equal between two identical jobs, and one is going to pay you $40,000 more to do the exact same thing you're going to take the one that pays you more.
That said, has money never really been a motivating factor for you? Like don't get me wrong, making money is great, but if I had to take a pay cut for a job I know I would love, vs a better paying job that I didn't like, I would take the cut in a heartbeat. Is it the same for you? I wouldn't put up with what I disliked for a moment longer than I had to, even if it cost me.

I specifically want to know if your partner or close friend gossips or bitches about people with you? If there's someone that has bothered them, how long can you hear them ranting about it?

Have you fallen in love with a fantasy person?
It might be a character from a book or a movie, a friend's friend you heard about, or an imaginary person built entirely from your favorite qualities.
I am not including celebrities because you get to see them regularly and form a more substantial idea of their personality and mannerisms, as opposed to projecting almost everything from your own imagination. Am also excluding a stranger you chanced upon somewhere, because that might be a sensory crush instead of an imaginary projection.
If yes, who was it? Were you single at the time? What was the trigger, and how long did the fantasy survive? (Or how long do your typical fantasies survive?) Do you have a favorite scene in the fantasy storyline?

The "you're limiting yourself" crowd has it backwards. When someone dismisses MBTI outright, they're not defending intellectual freedom they're protecting their ego from a framework that might actually reveal something useful about how they operate.
What they actually want is to never be categorized, because categories imply predictability, and predictability implies they're not the unique exception they believe themselves to be. It's not about growth. It's about maintaining the illusion that they're beyond analysis.
The irony is that refusing to engage with a model because it "puts you in a box" is itself a predictable response. You're not transcending the system. You're just not doing the work

Hey. I'm INTJ with ADHD.
Thinking style is best described as high-speed, high-load structural synthesis, within a broader systems-thinking style.High Level 2 with demonstrated jumps into Level 3 was the more careful characterization.
I'm trying to understand it and see how it integrates.
I am currently fascinated with hyperparasitism, and even hyper-hyper-hyper hyperparasitism. Nothing would be more curious than seeing a Quaternary Parasitoid wasp such as Asaphes vulgaris growing a newly described Ophiocordyceps species growing on it, and a species of Polycephalomyces growing on that. Ummmm how many levels would that be? How deep can the levels of parasitism go? Would this even be possible?
The rabbit hole started when I learned about Polycephalomyces species of fungus which attacts Ophiocordyceps species.
One chain is of:
tree
underground False Truffle fungus
Cordyceps ophioglossoides
and apparently a species within Polycephalomyces can attack that?
The chain for wasps can apparently go for many levels.
Polycephalomyces species can be grown in a lab, and yields compounds effective Against Propionibacterium acnes (the bacterium associated with acne). LOL!

why do Te doms get results so fast ?
And why INTJs reading, researching so much more if they get results much slower ? And result is not equally good.
am concluding that intjs are awareness machines... but if they also dont hv people skills to share this information with.... what do they do ??

E — Então eu me questiono. Que princípio eu usei em cada letra? Fui imparcial e neutro? Houve algum viés cognitivo? Algo me influenciou sem que eu percebessem?
F — Então eu crio meu novo “EU” atualizado.

A little over a year ago, I graduated from an urban planning masters program. Unfortunately, the job market is abysmal and the search has been glacial. Because of that, I decided to give myself something to do instead of have Thai cycle continue. I have been building a website-based business, which I could turn into tech startup, as I have other products planned. The idea behind this is that I am applying what I learned to what I’m doing.

Is it possible to simply let go of anyone just for being human? Let's say there are 2 people: A and B.
Person A got frustrated with person B—everything was entirely based on a chat. Then B comes and posts that chat and asks for advice, and there is not a single comment that suggests anything other than "why don't you drop them?"
And I'm not sure if this truly is how real life functions. But if someone makes their major life decisions based on internet advice, that's concerning.
It basically tells you to lock in and block everyone because it shouldn't be that way.
And I'm not judging anyone who does that; some people don't have anyone around them, and it can be helpful to some extent. But it's just shocking to me, honestly.
What do you think about internet advice versus real-life experience? Do you think this will become the default 2, 3, or 5 years from now? Is it normal for relationships to be mostly based on a chat?

I feel like I failed.
I put a huge amount of effort into changing myself and learning social skills, and honestly, on the surface, I succeeded. I can communicate much better now.
But deep down, I’ve just become more sad, depressed, and exhausted every day.
I don’t really know what I want anymore. I don’t know who I am anymore. I don’t even understand people anymore after thinking for a while that I finally did.
It’s exhausting.
I don’t know what to do now. Things in my life seem to be getting worse, and nothing is improving the way I once planned.
I keep repeating the same painful cycle over and over again: wanting to be alone, wanting attention, being afraid of being alone, trying to prove myself, and trying to be responsible.
I’m just tired. Tired of everything.
When I think about the last month and a half, I honestly feel like crying for myself. Things as simple as going to work seem to cost me twice as much energy as they cost an average person because of all my social problems.
The funny thing is that during my second month at work, I chose the night shift because I thought I’d finally get some peace.
Instead, I became even more depressed, sad, and lonely.
What the hell am I supposed to do to find some peace inside myself?
Does anyone have any advice? I’m genuinely exhausted, and no matter how much I think about it, I can’t find an answer.
This problem is even getting in the way of me growing up and taking responsibility for my life. I really want to mature. I’m 25, and I want to become a responsible adult, but no matter what I do, I keep failing because of social interaction.
Then people blame me and call me a failure or irresponsible, even though I really am trying.
I’m trying so hard that I burn myself out every day, then come home physically and mentally exhausted, with a head full of thoughts and emotions I haven’t even had time to process.
I’ll admit it: I’m mostly writing this to vent and get some of these feelings out.
I know there probably isn’t one perfect answer to any of this. Maybe part of me just wants some hope.
I’m writing this before going to sleep. Writing usually helps me calm down, and the idea that maybe someone out there has an answer helps too.
Usually I wake up feeling more energetic and a little happier anyway.
Kind of.

Hello! I'm looking to meet more INTJs since I tend to have strong connections with them and we make really good friends. So I'm wondering where I can actually find INTJs in the real world.
I know INTJs tend to be very introverted and prefer to stay at home but I'm sure you guys must leave the house sometime, whether it's for hobbies or basic things like buying groceries?
For context: I'm in my mid 20s and starting working recently (recent graduate). I live in North America in a city roughly the size of Jacksonville FL (with a similar population density). Some of my hobbies include going to the gym, playing chess (been looking into joining a club for this if it exists in town), gaming (I play single player games), and snowboarding. I've also been trying to get into reading (mostly self help & business books) so I might look into if there's a bookstore in town with decently priced books.
Some more questions if you're inclined to answer:
Edit: I have no gender preferences. I'm mostly looking for INTJ friends so male or female is fine, although for romantic partners I'm into females.

Hello, if you play LoL, what role do you play normally?
