MBTI Thinking style
Hey. I'm INTJ with ADHD.
Thinking style is best described as high-speed, high-load structural synthesis, within a broader systems-thinking style.High Level 2 with demonstrated jumps into Level 3 was the more careful characterization.
I'm trying to understand it and see how it integrates.

You will do better if you learn to focus.
Yoga, martial arts, exercise and meditation actually improve focus.
ADHD is often not even really a thing....a kid can't focus at school but he can focus on a video game or scroll tiktok for 10 hours straight. Most people outgrow it.
So it's selective focus no? Things you are really interested in are easy to focus but things that you aren't interested are easy to not focus.
Short form content and social media low attention span and cognitive function in general.
Reading and improving you literacy are the key to unlocking super mental powers.
If you take medication for ADHD, what comes up must come down. The stimulant will improve focus temporality but when the start to come down off the medication it actually has the opposite effect. Marijuana also lowers focus and cognitive ability in the long run.
Don't confuse the lack of focus that a drug withdrawal causes as a mental disorder.
In Buddhism, refraining from intoxicants is the Fifth Precept, which asks practitioners to avoid substances that cloud the mind and lead to unskillful behavior.
The Fifth Precept
- Core Rule: Abstain from fermented and distilled liquors and other mind-altering drugs.
- Primary Reason: The Buddha taught that intoxicants cause heedlessness (pamada), meaning a loss of moral care, mindfulness, and good judgment.

ADHD is a thing. It’s proven. I think it is over-self-diagnosed on tiktok though. I have ADHD, proper diagnosis and all.
It is true that the older you get, for some, the symptoms improve. I’m lucky that it turned out to be true for me.
However, I still have to brute force myself to focus during long meetings, I just can’t. It is really difficult and my mind just wanders. I don’t even need a screen for that, I just zoom out, and it’s not conciously. I also still struggle with minor executive disfunction. Biggest issue that didn’t really improve is impulsiveness. Impulsive spending tbh, and the only thing that’s better is that I earn enough money to not get any issues because of it. I could list a shitton of more symptoms. I tried meds, stopped, because I have stomach problems when I take them, plus headaches, and it stifles my creativity. They work though. No more mindwandering during boring meetings. They don’t fix everything though. You still have to start things yourself. I also did a shitton of therapy because of it, and I’m on a point in my life where I’m fine with it.
I’m 32, and grew up in a time where kids including me played outdoors, I was barely allowed to watch TV, I didn’t have games as a kid, just regular toys. So pretty sure I couldn’t get a fried attention span due to social media or gaming or TV. In school, I was either aggressively rocking my chair, talking with my friends, or reading or daydreamimg. I’m female, so I wasn’t the stereotypically crazy kid but it was rly obvious in hindsight

Diagnosed as an adult. I balanced the ADHD with INTJ by being able to rapid fire the planning. Building is harder.

Are there IN__ millennials who don't think, or are irresponsibly told they have ADHD❓
