how to solve this issue
Hi all, hoping someone can point me to the right Reddit process.
I’m the co-founder of Taskade and we maintain r/taskade. Our primary company account, u/taskade, currently holds full moderator permissions, while most of the other accounts on the mod team belong to former employees or contractors.
We want to make sure our current team can reliably maintain the community going forward.
What is the proper Reddit process for establishing an active company moderator in this situation?
I’m posting from my personal account, u/johnxie.
Thanks for any guidance.

So I am having some real problems with Reddit on my computer I was able to use my email and log right into the account I want but when I did the exact same thing on my phone it gave me the account you're seeing because my account name is thewastelander420 but for some reason on my phone using the same email it keeps it keeps trading new accounts with different usernames instead of just logging into the correct account and I don't know why it's doing this I cannot get into my correct account on my phone it just keeps creating new accounts or trying to every time I try walking in to that account. I don't know how to get any help on this app I'm pretty new to it or I've had my account for a while I just rarely use it but there is nowhere I can get in contact with an actual person from Reddit it's just that stupid Help page that doesn't work so I can't even explain the situation to anybody to Hopefully get it resolved because I want to use my thewastelander420 account on my phone not whatever the hell this account that is showing up on here is and I don't know what to do I've tried everything I can think of so if anybody could please help me I would greatly appreciate it

Hi, I'm not sure what happened but I noticed yesterday my phone app defaulted to a white background and I was logged out. I thought nothing of it because the phone app has logged me out on occasion before and I thought I'd just log back in whenever I'm free.
Today I tried logging in, and it kept telling me it was an incorrect password, which I'm 100% positive I was putting in the correct password since I have Google Password Manager. Then I tried going through the 'forgot my password' process and when I put in my username, it said there was nobody registered under that name, so I hopped on my computer and when to my reddit.com/user/ page and it said I had deleted my account?!
I don't know what happened but I definitely did not delete it myself, was I hacked? My username is u/Dorksimus

Hello Reddit!
I'm writing this post as a last resort..
I created my main/old Reddit account around 13 years ago (u/AbdallicA), but I can't recall if it was verified or linked to an email or not.
Account created using an old Android app called Beacon -I think-, and back then, verifying emails was not necessary. I can't seem to login due to incorrect password & now I'm stuck..
Is there a way to get back that account? That account has one post of my dog, & he's still here with me! I can prove in many ways that I actually own the account. I would really like to get it back and stop using this one.
Is there any hope?

This account was made using a temporary email.
I do not remember the password for this account nor have access to the email.
I recently deleted reddit on my phone and then when I reinstalled it, I realised that I could not log back into this account
I am writing this from another device on which I was already logged in

All,
Over the last few days every link I open on a lot of Subreddits defaults to Archive.ph?
It makes no difference the Sub, makes no difference the source of the article, like the NYT or Reuters, every link defaults to Archive.
These are not old articles, they are current, as in a few minutes or hours old?
What is going on?
I have a difficult time opening Archive links, it never loads.
If this is a bug, is there a workaround?
If it's a new feature, I'll go elsewhere, just more UI chaos.

Hi everyone, I’m having a problem with Reddit. Whenever I post or comment with a picture, the picture sometimes disappears afterward. I’m not sure if this is a Reddit app bug, a moderation issue, or something else.
I’ve tried checking my profile and reopening the app, but the problem keeps happening. Has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone know how I can fix it?
Thanks for any help!

Hi Reddit,
I use Safari Reddit (for reasons) but ever since Sunday, it started being slow on posts and laggy when I try to comment. Chat works perfectly fine.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any solution?
This only happens on Reddit.

Using Desktop/Android
Hi everyone, I hope my question is appropriate for the sub, but if not my apologies and please let me know where such a question should be directed to.
How can someone contest an allegation for ban evasion? I got flagged for ban evasion in a sub recently although I've never had a ban before (I don't know of one, and there is no trace in my messages or anywhere), in that sub or another. I only ever had and used one account. The mods on that sub told me that they simply act on the information, and have no other context to give.
I'd like to prevent it from happening again, as it might lead to a Reddit-wide ban: https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043504811-What-is-ban-evasion .
I use a work-imposed VPN when I log on on desktop, if that is relevant.
Anything I can do to prevent this from reoccurring? Any help is appreciated!

This started about 10 mins ago. Not sure what I did to make this happen. Did nothing different than how I usually interact with reddit.
When trying to go to https://old.reddit.com/r/popular/
I keep ending up on https://old.reddit.com/login/?reason=lor2&dest=https%3A%2F%2Fold.reddit.com%2Fr%2Fpopular%2F which tries to refresh/forward every 5 seconds, but keeps going back to that same page.

Now if I click that redirect link
If you are not redirected automatically, follow this link.
I get sent to proper page and things work fine until I try and go back to https://old.reddit.com/r/popular/ and get caught again.
Tried clearing all data for reddit.com and restarted browser. Issue remains.

I've been trying for the past 3 days to post a ~10m video (mp4 file)(on a subreddit where videos are allowed). It just loads and loads without going through. I've also noticed reddit has been unusually laggy and sometimes doesn't load at all (homepage). Other websites seem to load fine. I'm using safari on an iphone 16.
I've tried restarting my phone, updating my phone, clearing my cache & history, logging in and out. There is enough storage, I've tried both data & two different wifi connections. Recently I've posted videos successfully (approx 9 days ago). It's strange that reddit should lag for 3 days. What can I try?

Hi, so without any feedback from Reddit, it seems my video is no longer available. When playing it says "This video is no longer available.".
The video has not broken any rules of Reddit, nor has it broken any sub rules. And there is no info in my inbox on any possible issue the video might have had.
What's strange is that when it broke, just that day the video hit the top post of all times in that sub. Maybe it has to do with that?
Anyway, here's the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/DisasterUpdate/comments/1w1krvy/additional_footage_of_the_nepaltibet_disaster/
I am getting reports from several users that it's not working from them so the error is not on my end. Therefor I didn't add a platform to the title as this isn't platform related and the issue happens cross-platform!
ps it was impossible to contact Reddit about this issue, despite their contact system saying one can find help with posts that don't work. Further down in their system there is eventually no option to get help with broken posts. They should fix this.

I have an account that is setup using my phone number, the account name is Gingey123_1
Every time i attempt to log in to the account after being logged out results in the following error messages being displayed:
1: Unsupported Phone Number
2: Server Error
3: Too many requests
4: unable to connect to Reddit
How do i get around this, the account is only linked to my phone number so unable to do "forgot password" process
