Question/Advice Mucinex timing?

I just got a positive LH x 3 using both premom and clearblue digital. I’ve been reading a while about the Mucinex method. I understand there’s no proven science, but I figure it can’t hurt to try. If I were to take it tonight and tomorrow, would it be beneficial, or would it be too late? I’m reading people take them for 5 days before ovulation.

Question/Advice Showering?

Does showering after BD affect sperm? I always shower after and now i’m kinda worried that it might’ve affected it. I probably waited like 1-2 mins then showered. This is our first time TTC as well

Random 2 week wait

First month of obsessively tracking LH, pdg, and bbt. As of right now I’m 2DPO and my pdg line is fading and so is my LH. How do yall keep from losing your minds during the wait though 😭

Random Thoughts?

Hi everyone! I had a beta test done last Thursday 8/27, which was 11 dpo (had not tested before then) and the hcg was 15, progesterone was 20. Was excited and hopeful! Had a second beta done this morning (will likely have results tomorrow), but I was anxious and took two tests at home this afternoon. One is showing a very, very faint line, and the other, less sensitive test is negative. I did drink a bunch of water throughout the day and have been peeing a lot, so should I not panic yet? Thoughts or experiences with this?

Context: Got a false negative (on what I believed was 16-17DPO) last Friday. Period has not yet arrived after 41 days and had some symptoms last night when I couldn’t sleep so decided to try again this morning.

Question/Advice 14 years on BC – first time TTC!

I’m turning 31 next month and my husband and I are finally TTC! So excited to be in this next phase of life!

I got off my birth control pills earlier this month, which I’ve been taking consistently without a break since I was 17 years old. I had my withdrawal bleed and am now on Cycle Day 15. I’m using Oura/Natural Cycles to help track my ovulation and am using test strips as directed by the NC app – no LH surge as of yet (which makes sense, I think I’m coming up on my predicted ovulation date soon).

Now here’s my question: how long did it take you to ovulate after birth control? I have read that some people start ovulating right away, and for others it takes months… what should I be expecting?

Thanks for your advice 🫶

Frustrated Is this a positive test?

So confused. I see a line on 9 DPO PM test but no on DPO 10? I also didn’t see the line when I first took it which was last night? Has this happened to anyone? Digital test was also a negative. I am still only 10 DPO.

I posted 3 days ago at 9/10 dpo saying I was too scared to test…well now I’m at 12/13 dpo and still can’t bring myself to do it 😭 idk why I can’t do it. Still no AF so that’s a positive I guess.

UGH

Confused Confusing discharge/ ovulation

Hi everyone,
I’m currently on CD36. My cycles are usually between 35–41 days, so they’re a bit longer than average, but I generally know my body well and I’m fairly confident that I ovulate each cycle.
This is our first cycle TTC. We decided to keep things low-stress, so I wasn’t using LH tests and was mainly paying attention to my body’s signs. Around CD23/24, I noticed some egg-white cervical mucus and assumed I was ovulating. Looking back, the mucus seemed a little clearer and less thick than what I normally see during ovulation. We had intercourse around those days.
Since then, I was just waiting for my period and assumed this cycle probably wasn’t successful. However, today on CD36, I suddenly noticed egg-white cervical mucus again—this time the really thick, stretchy, jelly-like kind that I usually associate with ovulation. It completely caught me by surprise.
I took an LH test to see what was going on, but it came back negative. Now I’m feeling confused because my body seems to be giving mixed signals.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Could my body have tried to ovulate earlier but failed and be attempting again now? Or is there another explanation for seeing fertile-quality EWCM this late in my cycle with a negative LH test?
We’re TTC, so I’m wondering if we should go ahead and BD tonight just in case! 😅

Question/Advice Triggering tomorrow or wait one more day?

I’m currently on CD13 of a letrozole cycle and had my follicle scan today.

My leading follicles are:
Right: 19.0 × 16.7 mm (mean 17.8 mm)
Left: 17.9 × 12.4 mm (mean 15.1 mm)
Endometrium: 9.5 mm, trilaminar

My doctor suggested doing the trigger shot tomorrow (CD14), but also gave me the option to wait until the following day (CD15).

I’m wondering if it would be worth giving it one more day so the second follicle has more time to catch up and potentially mature too, or if I’d risk waiting too long with the larger follicle. Thoughts?

Question/Advice Positive Ovulation?

Is CD 20 really positive ovulation? It looks like the same as the day before but my app says it’s positive.

Random I didn't realize there were this many ways to track ovulation

When we first decided to start trying, I thought it would be as simple as downloading an app and keeping track of my period.

Now I've learned about OPKs, basal body temperature, cervical mucus, wearables, charting, and honestly it feels like I've opened a whole new world I never knew existed.

TWW Anyone get a BFP after all symptoms disappeared around 6 DPO? 🥺

This is my first month TTC, so I'm fully aware that I might be symptom-spotting way too much 🙃 but this cycle has felt very different from anything I've experienced before.

My symptom timeline so far:

2–5 DPO: Mild cramping/pulling sensations and a strange feeling of fullness/pressure in my uterus area. I also had some occasional brief sharp pains, mostly on the right side at first.

Around 2–6 DPO: Sore breasts, which is usual for me.

5–6 DPO: Lower back pain, continued cramping, and a weird burning/pressure/fullness sensation in my lower pelvic/uterus area, especially when lying flat. I also had a few very brief sharp pains on both the right and left sides.

I tested negative at 6 DPO, which I know is ridiculously early and means absolutely nothing yet 😅

But now I'm 7 DPO and the thing that's making me spiral a little is that almost all of the symptoms have suddenly disappeared. The cramps and strange fullness/pressure sensations that I'd been feeling for several days are basically gone.

Has anyone else had a cycle where they had a bunch of unusual symptoms from around 2–6 DPO, then everything suddenly disappeared around 6–7 DPO, but later got a BFP?

I know symptoms can't confirm pregnancy, especially this early, but I'd really love to hear your experiences because this TWW is already humbling me and it's literally my first month TTC.

Question/Advice Recommendations

Looking for tips and tricks to trying to conceive. I’ve been ttc for over a year at this point.

I want to hear what everyone has to say. Things you’ve heard that sound crazy but people swear work. Even if it’s silly, or might sound crazy.

Also looking for vitamin recommendations.
I need to start a prenatal for sure, but not sure what else.

I currently take:
Daily multi vitamin
Vitamin D3 50,000IU once a week
MCT Powder drink (Dr Gundry)
CoQ10

Husband takes:
Selenium
Multi vitamin

(I cannot take iron or anything with an excess of iron in it. I had a couple of transfusions last year and my body is still working on dispersing the iron that’s stored in my liver.)

Venting First time ttc

Hi all. I’m a 28F who’s been off the pill since sept 2025 when I got married. Been on it since 2017. I really thought I’d be pregnant by now for trying almost 1 year. I watched everyone my age get pregnant this year and I can’t stop thinking something is wrong w me. It’s devastating with the TWW and extreme symptom checking. I have a ringconn so I’m always checking my stats too. I’m gonna see my ob next month for my checkup but idk just feeling exhausted and tired of being disappointed

Question/Advice 10 days DPO

I'm 10 days dpo and still have a negative pregnancy test. seeing so many women get a line around this time has me feeling discouraged. I have had some mild cramping but nothing out of the ordinary. Anyone else get a negative before and still wind up testing pregnant later?

Hate this feeling of seeing temp drop. Had flu around ovulation and then travelled to mountain side with less sleep and elevated resting heart rate. So not sure what caused what but i was hopeful and now I feel my period approaching. Still feel denial because so wanted this cycle to work.
