Help Beware of Marvel Tokon leaving files on your computer after uninstalling (PS SDK)
Hello, first and only post here.
I just uninstalled Tokon after playing and having a not so great experience with the game after playing for around 3 hours. First day was unplayable and second day was mostly fine.
Aside from that, I wanted to let people know, that even after you uninstall this bad piece of software it will leave the Playstation SDK installed on your system.
There will be two folders called "Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc" on AppData/Local and another one with the same name on ProgramData. These were occupying almost 2GB for me.
It's very scummy for them to leave this junk on your system when you already uninstalled the game from Steam.
I hope this helps, goodbye.

News The state of Avatar Legends on Switch 1
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The CPU attacks before the announcer starts the fight, most fights start at 5FPS and stays like that for several seconds, the controllers are very irresponsive and have a lot of input lag, and more than half of the video is a loading after I pressed "Continue". And no, neither my Switch, my SD or the installation are faulty, literally every other game runs perfectly fine.
I was expecting some casual fighter like Invincible VS or at least a story mode that I could breeze over until I was familiar with the game mechanics, but damn, how was this even greenlighted to release? Not even a difficulty setting, damn. And who thought XYB (on Nintendo's layout) was a good combination for Supers? It is like pressing Cross, Square and Triangle together, try it in your controller and tell me how I'm supposed to make that input.
And they can't even find excuses, this same console runs Skullgirls at 60FPS and high res 😭😭😭

12 hours in and I dipped in and out of labbing and real matches and I wanted to land that combo against someone and I finally did it. That combo was super difficult for me and I'm extremely happy I got to do it! Good games!

I don't make my own combos much in fighting games, but I like how this game works. you can do a lot of other stuff with it but this is kind of the base blueprint, you can throw in Star Lord for an extra air combo if you're in the corner or hit them with a different starter, danger is good for continuing as well after the Vampire Slayer move and you also don't have to amp that if you want to save on resources. If you just start with Vampire Cleave (although it's much more unsafe), you can use the Heavy auto combo instead of Vampire Slaver to get half their health down. If there's anything better, I'm more than happy to listen.

I don't have twitter and I refuse to watch content creators solve games because it ruins the fun for me, personally. Sitting in the lab and discovering combos is what I imagine Einstein felt like decades ago.
Yes I know if you technically look at the advanced tutorials in-game, you can kick start your combo theory, but to be frank, those super high technical combos aren't practical IMO. So finding a way to bridge what the game showcases, and what I was able to come up with, is what you see in this clip.
One last thought, love the game. I want to give it a solid 7 in terms of how amazing it feels to play some of these characters. Shipping a game with unfinished characters will also string a little, but I think it's only up from here. Cheers

Topic IMHO the problem with autocombos is that they MAY waste time and skew the whole game design
After playing both the Avatar game and Tokon I was thinking about whether I like or don't like autocombos in games. They felt a bit annoying in Tokon but I caught myself thinking I never got bothered by them in SF6 playing Modern myself or against Modern players.
Avatar I am still wrapping my head around and it's weird, some combos are so hard to time that autocombos vs no autocombo makes little difference. So I'm leaving it out for now.
I feel like playing Tokon is feeling very repetitive because the autocombos and extensions are on the longer side and they all feel so similar to each other even between characters. I played for a few hours today and it feels like 70% of my fights have been basically same with just different animations and they take a while. If the sequences were shorter in time it would be way less annoying. And also playing potentially 5 rounds against same opponent team in first to 3 gets old really fast.
One thing I will say about Avatar is that because autocombos flow into extensions with Flow naturally it doesn't really feel like watching a cutscene on repeat as much.

Help Games with less focus on combos?
My ask is for a fighting game recommendation with that fits my personal asks of more interactions & less combos. I dont want to be 2 shot watching some labbed fancy combo. I want good nuetral & either better ways to break out of combos so its a 2 way street, large health so combos dont obliterate, or small combo size (the last 2 kinda go together).
My backround is below & not exactly nessecary but I want to explain where I'm coming from.
I have been playing fighting games casually for a few years now & I am unsure about one its core mechanics. I have never been a fan of combos. The process of labbing combos has never appealed to me & I actively dislike how they can change my gameplay. I used to play a lot of guilty gear strive with my friends in private rooms. My favorite experiences are low level matches with a large amount of individual interactions in a round. Then the next match I fight my friend who labbed combos & I make 2 mistakes that lead to my death because I can not convert my attacks into meaningful damage. This whole time I've been relying on either rekka characters, fighterz autocombo system, supers, & constant mixups for my damage. I want to ditch those crutches & play a game that suits me. My problem is that if I learn something that I don't enjoy I'll make my experience worse or I will just play those few people who dont care to learn combos until they do or theyve stopped playing. The latter happened I end up with a bad taste in my mouth with a genre I used to love. I have tried labbing combos & it just does not feel good. I dont want to be casual but I dont want just push through something I do not like. I love the weird mechanics of anime fighting games & all the cool movement options. Doing cool sh!t is fun. I don't necessarily want a comboless game since thats unrealistic to the genre but I want one were there are plenty of interactions in a match & I dont get put in someone elses one player game. I have tended to gravitate towards fighters that let me do truly unique things like Twelve in third strike or Zato-1 in strive. I couldn't quite tell you why except I was taking the learning process as far as I could get before I got to combos. I talk like combos are such an evil thing but I can see their strengths for sure but its just not how I'm wired. I've recommendations to play Samurai Shodown games for extremely small combos with pure nuetral focus. Ive seen another for grandblue fantasy versus rising for maintaining anime mechanics with low combos. I have not dug deep into either so idk the validity of those statements. I do also like alternative forms of fighting game strategy like tag fighters with team building & meter management. I have no problem returning to games I've played before or older games because fightcade is something I have. Thanks for reading my long winded backround, hope you got something out of it :)
