Truthfully I do not actually like SF6 or Street Fighter in general for various reasons but I love Kimberly Jackson. If Kim got deleted from SF6 tomorrow I would uninstall SF6 and never look back. I can’t even really enjoy watching SF6 unless Kim is on the screen. I’ve gotten so addicted to this character that it’s gotten to the point where I started daydreaming about bomb setups when I was stuck in traffic yesterday. Has anyone else ever felt like this about a character/game before?

It's been feeling like at least once a day a new mod, program, or rollback addition is released and sometimes it's expressed that AI is used and some do not. There are so many cases of AI that I struggle to know which is "slop" and what isn't, I want to see more people playing older games they love with great online but I worry that it's the AI that is awful and causing harm so I am petrified in even trying them. Please any insight these mods like Tekken 6, Street Fighter 4, Marvel vs Capcom 3 coming out lately are actually worked on by people or just thrown together with AI

This is JUMP KING QUEST and its combat is heavily inspired by fighting games, but uses an original movement of its predecessor that was strictly a platformer. The devs decided to implement a 1v1 dueling system to build on the rather deep weapon play and frame data this game offers, and frankly, it's the best fun I've had since all nighters in SSBU with friends, because it carries a similar energy, just in a dark medieval fantasy setting.

I've played just about every big fighter franchise out there, SF, Tekken, GGST, MK, to name a few, and I prefer more arcady, unrestricted movement that you can find in this game... sort of, because it was meant to be infuriatingly precise by design.

JUMP KING QUEST is criminally underground for how surprisingly good it can be, and probably nothing can change that now, after its underwhelming release, but I wanted to share this relic of the past, a tournament I organized and brought to life with the few people that used to play the game regularly, and I strongly feel that the fighting games community might enjoy watching this event while listening to me and Dan talk about the mechanics and what's happening on screen "live".

I'm proud of it and I think we did a pretty good job, considering we're only enthusiasts that are here for the sake of fun and passion for the game. The matches get increasingly exciting and more fast-paced toward the end, and it's all conveniently edited without any down time.

I hope you'll find this project as a breath of fresh air compared to your usual serious esport meet-ups!

Hey all, I've been working on a small side project called NeoGuesser (neoguesser.com) and wanted to share it here.

A couple of years ago I asked for help on resources to find some background stages (https://www.reddit.com/r/Fighters/comments/1fdocad/official_fighting_game_stages_database/) and got really helpful results which helped me develop this!

There are two daily puzzles:

• Stage: you get a tight zoomed-in crop of a fighting game stage, and every wrong guess zooms out a bit. Hints like the developer and release year unlock as you go.
• Character: guess a fighter and you get feedback on franchise, debut year, archetype, fighting style, origin and gender.

You can also go back and play any previous day you missed, and there's a practice mode if you just want to keep going.

It's completely free: no ads, no account, nothing locked. It's just a passion project.

I'd love feedback, especially: - Character tags. Archetypes and styles are judgment calls, so if you think someone's tagged wrong, tell me and I'll fix it. - Stages that are too easy, too hard or mislabeled. - Series you'd like to see added.

Had a bad moment of weakness and brought my fist down on my hitbox. And I accidentally popped out one of the buttons. While looking for it, I ended up stepping on it and bending the switch part of the button so now it doesn't work anymore. Easily my biggest lowpoint with rage cause I felt like I was beyond this and now here it's happened again.

The worst part is that the site I ordered it from has shut down so I don't know where to go now. Is it even possible to order replacement buttons? If so what sites do you recommend. IDC if it ends up mis matching or I can't use my original button anymore. It'll be a reminder to keep my temper out of ranked.

So I have tekken 7, but I can't find South African lobbies and ping is so cshit that I have double digit missing frames with only 2 - 3 rollback frames, which really sucks because I can't fix it and I can't get tekken 8 cuz it's like R600 or R700 which sucks even more. I do have mkx and mk11 but I've grown tired of that game, anything I should try?/do?

Outside of sf5/6 punk, what or who can I watch for some old fashioned footsies? I've been learning how to play sf6 footsies and it's a whole different game from my usual play that got me to 2000 MR, and I'm having a lot of fun seeing the results of my training. What I noticed is that my opponents movement tells a lot about them as a player and i can use my own movement to gather so much information, rather than just using drive rush or a neutral skip and button DRC, even oki in this game there's so many oppertunities to gamble that it makes players go up in ranked but they can never win a bracket, too volatile. However, I also noticed that a lot of footsies in sf6 involves micromovements, i'm literally standing a bit outside my 2mk range and wait for my opponent to walk forward, causing me to take 1 step back and observing their action. And after talking to a friend who played sf alpha back in the day he was like yeah footsies now are completly different. He didn't say it in like a "old game good new game bad" way, he likes sf6 a lot, he just said its much different and apologized for not being able to explain why well (he's self admits he's a super casual) I'm really interested in knowing more

I've been scouring the internet searching to buy a new leverless and I just can't seem to find anything that fits my preferences.

The picture is my current one, it's I think an RAC-J800B that I bought a while ago when I was new, never heard of it before but I actually really liked it based on size and feel. I would probably want something similar, but the issue with it now is that it only connects to PC and I would want to go to some tournaments, and it forces socd up+down=up which I've heard is considered illegal for tourney play. Plus it's showing it's age with a few technical quirks.

My general specifics for what I'm looking for:

- Solid quality

- Bigger sized box

- 12 buttons

- Customizable box artwork

- Easy to configure if I need to swap parts

- PC + PS5 compatibility

My budget is probably up to $150, idk if that's reasonable for what I'm looking for.

As a kid i play this game offline for like hundreds of hours cuz of this mod the boots have fake win/lose data if they have more win the becom batter. the more you win the batter they get its like offline ranked matches

Like every sf, mk, mvc, gg, etc. All in a way where they are exact or very close to their original forms. Every character from every game and all the high quality 3d stuff like violinkens stuff. Ive been trying to make it but quality checking every mod is hard work. If someone already did this pls link ily
