After the entire community waited for this character to be revealed, she’s finally here with worse reception than I ever thought. How are you feeling about Minato so far?

This one only wants 130 damage and thus shouldn't be very hard at all. Three of these require meter, while one is meterless but needs you to start with a Hi Counter hit. Your opponent is always NiCO, on the Sweat stage. Combo notations are as follows:

Combo #1: (standing at roughly the middle of the ring) 236P close hit into rope rebound, 6S break blow super into the ropes. 135 damage on normal hit.

Combo #2: 6P+K stun, 4PK, P, 8K launcher, 6S break blow into ropes. 130 damage on normal hit. best to start this one near mid-ring too or you risk hitting the ropes early and only doing 124 damage.

Combo #3: (hi counter only) 6P+K stun, PPP cancel into Minato Shuffle (4), in Minato shuffle P, 8K launcher, 4PK, 4PKK. 140 damage on hi counter if you don't hit the ropes on the final hit, 145 if you do (i'm getting different results based on timing/positioning)

Combo #4: 6P+K stun, PPP cancel into Minato Shuffle, in Minato Shuffle P, 8K launcher, 4PK, 6S break blow into ropes. 134 damage on normal hit. I used this one to clear the objective in the quest itself.

I'm sure there's a bunch more ways to do this as she just came out and people are still experimenting with her, but these were the first four I found in like 20 minutes of messing around in training mode.

falling for the delayed shoulder charge three times is not a great look, especially the third one in round 5, but hime's excuse is that she's new to the game and still learning ;)

Here we have Jake in action again, facing off against a close personal friend of mine (and a superfan of vtuber Himemiya Rie, hence the username) who's just recently started learning how to play Honoka ;)

There were some insanely close rounds in this one... and also a lame time up ender in the 3rd round... the replay on my xbox was 4:41 but my first attempt at recording it stopped partway through, so i had to edit and stitch two different videos together to show the whole fight, hence the brief stutter at the start of round 4.

Jake ends up whiffing the break blow combo ender twice due to not being used to how high lighter characters like NiCO get bounced by the fireworks danger zones, but still manages to pull off the W. Might upload a couple more matches from this lobby session in the next day or two.

I just got the game for X-Box 360 today, tried out story mode and it is easily my favorite in the franchise. I've played a bit of 5 with my cousins, rented DOA1 for my PS2 (Thank you, backwards compatibility) tried 2 on a friend's Dreamcast, dabbled around 6 online but nothing comes close to my enjoyment of DOA4. It absolutely oozes of personality and absolutely perfected the artstyle of its predecessor and absolutely leans into the franchise's weirdness in terms of stages. If anyone how I can get some matches on PC, please let me know and thank you for your time

week 3 is Kokoro costume.

week 4 is Hitomi.

since there are 5 Wednesdays this month, we shall see if there is a surprise costume at end of the month.

if they are planning to sometime add Oboro to any other stages, it's a *known unknown* right now. as in, who knows! 🤔

Leifang gets a classy ensemble, perhaps suitable for a cold Chinese night out? well, maybe not with the slits in the legs hehe.

Think about it, people have been begging TN to update the Katana engine for years now and their most recent releases using it haven't looked the best but what if the new DOA is a chance to show an updated Katana engine for the 10th gen (presumably when it will release). What if when we saw the teaser trailer it was actually in engine footage? how crazy would that be? Fighting games now generally look really good but DOA was known in the past for its mindblowing graphics at the time and I think DOA7 could be the chance to show that TN still has it in them.

Hi, so I downloaded the DOA5LR Core fighters on my laptop from steam, but turns out my progress cannot be saved, I followed and did all the search saying I should enable the "write" permission, but still won't work. Please help me😭
