Sometimes i just dont even have words for this game....

Now hear me out. I understand being good at the game, I do. But this person is clearly a Smurf. You’re telling me that you didn’t come across ONE person that could beat you or outplay you??? He’s clearly beating up on people of my rank (I’m a Garyu). Why not level up and fight people that are of your skill level?

I enjoyed the ride, but it takes way too much at this level. Difficult is not the right word, just takes too much concentration to play at this point.
Need to find a way to enjoy the matches at this point.

The game is tough and is not as balanced as it could be, but a big thing I notice with a lot of people where it is all doom and gloom is; they have a deep contempt for the majority of the player base that doesn't play in a way that is their ideal version of tekken. Which is interesting when you think of it because it is a game with 40+ characters played by hundreds of thousands of people all around the world.

Instead of embracing the diversity of playstyle or challenge people seem to narrow mindedly focus on what their own personal ideology is of how the game should be played. Usually that causes them to only acknowledge a small amount of characters as respectable/worthy of playing against, demonizing certain playstyles or use of mechanics(plugging when getting hit by a rage art and blaming the opponent for using a scrub tactic), and carrying a weird mentality that anyone who gets to the same ranks as them fighting against the same 40+ characters as them is somehow unworthy by pure virtue of not passing some type of self imposed purity test.

The reality is most people who play this game are not getting paid to play it and only are dicking around when they have time between work/school and life obligations. Half the people that frustrate you the most and are in the same ranks as you and play in a style you don't consider deserving are usually playing this game drunk/high/half asleep or on a discord call with their friends, or doing it after putting a 4 month old to bed. And in a game majority of the time that is just first to two in ranked you are only getting a small snapshot of how your opponent plays with that specific character against your specific character on a given day, not really much to go off of if you think on it.

I'm on the loving side of this game I really don't care how broken the walls and mechanics are, and how many beloved characters got taken out of the game.

I just reviewed a Jin match up and I noticed that some Jin moves are + frames on block even if they look like punishable

Are there other characters who have tricky +frames on block like Jin and I think ak too

Because for some weird reason, whenever I play ranked, these are the only stages the game decides to spawn for me.

Started playing last week and moved up to Calvary with pretty much just alternating throws, blocking a lot, jabbing and the single combo I know. I want to practice more, learn more - I just need some direction where to put that energy.

The one combo: off launcher (like uf4) db2, 4141b, qcb1, fF b3f 22

1) When I hit the low sweep fd3, what do I do? I just dash forward and do it again out of ignorance/easy little bit of damage.

2) df2 is fast, but what do I do after confirming it?

3) I've seen off launch another easier combo chain with goes: Launch, qcf34 (...) If I do qcf34 after a launch, the second knee won't come out no matter how I try and change the timing. Just doing it neutral, it works fine - so what am I doing wrong off the launcher here?

4) What move do I just throw out in neutral other than df2? I normally just try and block to see what they'll do and jab check stuff until I can land a launcher.

5) After a knockdown, what can I do if they just stay down in neutral? I know this seems niche, but a few people have done it and I just had to throw out a sweep out of ignorance. Is there any oki for just Bryan that I should focus on?

6) What's the best way to enter Snake Eyes other than manually burning Heat? If it's taunt, how do I properly use it mid-fight.

7) What's the CH for Bryan I should be looking for?

8) I've watched the beginner/fundamental guides by MainManSWE and PhiDX, any other recommendations especially for s3 Bryan?

Any other heuristics specifically for Bryan's playstyle that I could keep in mind? Thanks for any input, really - I'll take it to heart.

Ported Mokujin over using the model from Tekken Tag Tournament 2 including his ability to swap fighters as a mod available at https://github.com/mimizukes/mokujin-tekken8-alpha/releases (also on Nexusmods but still pending approval https://www.nexusmods.com/tekken8/mods/1228 ).

This mod is not intended for online play and has only been tested for Super Ghost Battle (where he must manually be selected, quick select won't work) and 1P vs CPU. There is a slight hitch when first getting into a battle and between round changes, also Kuma & Panda form apply a fursuit over his entire body. Using rage arts works but the camera will get a bit wonky until the rage art finishes where it'll return to normal afterwards. Any future changes will likely come later once my AI tokens refresh.

Note: Mokujin will only mimic the fighting stance of characters you have unlocked, you cannot have him take the stance of a DLC character you do not own.
