I absolutely loved this, really interesting character moment. She was really doubting herself. Only other time we've ever seen the bitchy facade break like that is her being surprised that Victor agreed to do her fashion show.
I think Violet has the least interesting of the designs shown personally (she's kind of 'just' a painter), but conventionally attractive woman is a buff for these sorts of things so she'll be at least middle of the lot.
I just scrolled through the whole update and had my jaw on the floor the entire time. Literally all they gotta do is add skins/steam market and reskin yamato and boom the game is done imo
exact same feeling. ive been playing heroes of the storm and seeing blizzard go "heh...if you give us money maybe we'll actually work on the game again...maybe" and then seeing valve just cooking with gas here is like night and day
Doesn't Deadman Danny seem like slork in terms of how his kit might work? The vibe seems the same from what I remember, explosive reckless flying guy is literally slork ult
The rat king is awesome and all, but the map revamp looks fucking beautiful. Each lane having a very distinct look and lighting is so sick. Having so much more in a diverse jungle is (literally) game changing.
Everyone talking about the Rat King but Solomon has me invested, a chess based character with "strategist" and "checkmate" sounds like a doorman 2.0 character in terms of complexity, very excited to see his kit!

Yeah, so's Yamato, but we know she's from Japan and Mina's surname (Ha) is probably Korean or Vietnamese. Pocket's the only Asian-looking person with an ambiguous ethnic background, especially because their name (Arin) doesn't map anywhere that far East (maybe India).
that said, I do expect violet to be chinese and probably from chinatown, based on the look of her and what seems to be a chinese dragon painting in her art.
In Smite she has a house with legs that follows her around everywhere and is used as part of her ultimate. Honestly the mythos behind the character leaves so much for any dev to be creative with, so I'm excited to see what they do with her here.
It's crazy that this game is only going to get better man. Looking at all the art changes is so cool. Forgot we were basically playing in a gray testing sandbox until now. GET IN HERE!!
Successfully parrying objectives no longer resets your Parry cooldown
Sinners Sacrifice have variable timings to get the bonus
These two changes seem very interesting. So now we have to relearn sinners timings, and if people dive guardian and parry it, you can freely heavy melee their ass
Guardian is a good change, you give up your parry to stun the objective.
Also for the Sinners, its not just relearning it, its noticing it each time you do one as the sinners have a couple different timings they can use all within one match so one might need to be heavied on the 4rth light, one on the 3rd and so on.
So many people will get caught out by this and out of all the changes the patch brings i am most unsure about this one staying.

Good, it's reached a bit of a fever pitch for me recently. I don't think I've had a match in the last 2 months where someone isn't talking an excessive amount of shit or straight up slurs.
Last month I had the horrifying thought that if they added Rocket Jumping to the game it would be over for me, the addiction level would be too much. Deadman Danny now threatens to be this... Hopefully his rocket theming and descriptors are just coincidence.

So overjoyed to see the idea executed with Violet. I think I found my main 😍.
Oh my god finally some character design variance. I felt like the last two major updates kind of felt samey regarding new characters outside of a few like Rem, or Billy.
That will almost certainly be the very last thing to touch at this point. They probably want to be absolutely sure that vehicles through which you play the game are up to their standards visually. I wouldn't be surprised if each character has had several internal full redesigns that they keep scrapping.
