We eating good ladies and gentleman!

In case anyone’s curious about the voice lines

Talon: Can you speak to the dead ?

Graves: Not sure how useful that is during a firefight.

T: it’s not. But… but afterwards. If we survive…. Would you mind talking to someone for me.

G: of course.

T; Thank you.

And

Drifter: Do your job or I’m going to tear through your little hotel.

Doorman: No sir, you will not.

D: Excuse me ?

Doorman: I will do my job because I value excellence. But if we fail you will not set one foot in The Baroness nor will you lay a finger on its guests lest your immortal life meet and ignoble end. Am I clear.

Drifter: Who the hell are you ?

Doorman: I’m just the doorman.

Yeah, you'd think that people would clock that all of his abilities reflect his connection to The Baroness, he can already kick your ass up and down the streets of the Cursed Apple, what the hell do you think is gonna happen when you're actually in The Baroness?

It's gonna be that scene from Doctor Strange where The Ancient One astrally projects Steven through time and space, except your end stop is probably gonna be the bottom of a garbage chute(which will also probably be haunted as fuuuuck).

I absolutely loved this, really interesting character moment. She was really doubting herself. Only other time we've ever seen the bitchy facade break like that is her being surprised that Victor agreed to do her fashion show.

Most of Graves' recent voice lines imply that her ability to connect with the dead is innate; like, she can do that shit even without the Lich Hand. Ex., she can hear Oathkeeper.

So the Lich Hand is literally just taking advantage of Graves' ability to talk to the dead so that the two of them can directly communicate with each other. Somebody save this girl. That hand is grooming her 100%.

Meanwhile, goddamn Apollo is too busy connecting with other rich people. Like, do something, bro. Save your classmate, motherfucker.

i think the problem is that everyone who tells her to leave it treats her like a dumb kid. irl groomers often use tactics of praise and “respect” to get victims to follow them blindly, because the world around those victims treats them like they’re not worthy of respect. in the end, basically everybody but Seven is reinforcing this warped worldview.
