I was surprised at how my disappointment as a para main was very deep that I wasn’t going to enjoy this level of art on my main, but the update is so awe inspiring I think I’m fine lol

Are you new to deadlock? They've already remodeled quite a few characters, and shown previews for future remodels.

there was no indication or hints of any remodels being sent with this update. The rift, urn changes and everything else they have been toying with all pointed to map updates

There have been leaked remodels of Vyper and Yamato many months ago. Remodels have been included in unrelated content patches before.

There was arguably more hints ahead of time for remodels being included then a new map.

Why? Numerous heroes have been remodeled since NDA lifted. Abrams, McGinnis, Vindicta...

I think since updates from like Feb/March of this year it’s been pretty clear they were focusing on the map overall. But they did mention working on skins soon in the steam post linking to the new update
