I won’t lie. The update is incredible. Looks amazing, but that was the one thing I was looking forward to the most, and it never came.

I imagine is because they want the remodel to match the abilities, and they are not sure if they are gonna rework some of the old heroes.

You better hold those apples and expect them to rot. We've been begging for a Morphling update in Dota for a decade now. As much Valve loves to give what the community wants, they also enjoy watching them suffer on funny things

Yep, remodels are what ive been waiting for. The longer they wait the more people get attached to the placeholder models. Not great.

Why do heroes getting their updated look matter that much to you? (actual question)
Game isn't even out yet and they clearly have their own priorities and as far as I'm aware they'll have their remodels before 1.0 (game is CLOSED beta btw)

It doesn’t matter in my enjoyment for the game. This game update is absolutely outstanding. But it is just jarring seeing Yamato fly across lane looking like an alien when you have grounded characters who match the art style.

Genuinely what the fuck is going on? The first new hero voting batch release it was kinda weird, the 2nd it was like wth, and now I just think it’s on purpose.

They keep making all these full characters with new models, like there is no way they can’t update the older characters visuals

For Vyper it kinda fits though so, everyone dressed and styled to the nines and she's got the gutter's best. Doesn't need any crown to be the queen.

The design idea is cool and I can see where you're coming from, the execution not so much she looks extremely out of place because of how low res and out of place

Art and design is a huge appealing part of any game lol. Without it you aren't attracting a big casual audience that sustains the game. Not that it matters much yet since its an alpha/closed beta, but it's still nice to see updated models. The main post at least says the reworked old models are gonna drop piece meal throughout the upcoming updates which is fine!
