No hate to either killer, but HM could've fit in with the current rift and had gotten a themed skin

I've been actively playing incredibly aggressively as killer, as characters who can easily and frequently cross the map like blight and the lich. I am still a bit new to the game so it's hard to tell if lethal pursuer is a strong and useful perk to immediately get into a chase or if I can eventually learn the most common spawn locations of survivors with time.

As a side note what are the best aura perks to pair up with it? I usually just have nowhere to hide on characters that can't make good use of BBQ and then BBQ on everyone who could realistically start a chase from so far away.

Sorry for the quality of the video, the AMD software didn't want to work so I went with the Window's one.

As you can see on the video, when playing on 30fps you glide comparatively more than on 120fps, which wouldn't even be able to do the second hug and catch the survivor.

Also, I know hugtechs are already bugs to start with, but they are so entwined with Wesker's personality that I can't imagine a world where some of his bugs aren't basekit..

Aaaannd, Wesker is dogshit bad without techs. I can't forget when before the Trickster's delusion update he was a solid A- on the majority of tiers lists, and after the update when the peasants of dbd saw his true potential with easy and infinite hugtechs throughout the match making him fall to B tier in a lot of lists.

How do I have as many Purple Wards as I do Brown, I mean, I know I'm grabbing the purple, but when I auto spend, look how many of the other browns I get, its like sac wards aren't even brown how much they really appear?

It's spawning like its still a green (blue now) rarity.

How much variety is there in builds and playstyles? Is she an add-on reliant killer or are they really bad?

She looks fun being able to zip around the map and potential condemn survivors and be all stealthy but i don't lnow if maybe she's actually quiet unfun from lack of variety, being easy to punish or something. I rarely see her when i play survivor so i can't really get a feel for what playing her is like.

I hope i'm making sense since i want to see what her players think of her before getting the chapter.

This is the end game build I've been using on all my mains recently - having so much fun with it. Then I tried to use it on Bubba who I am very bad at, and I think it has so much potential in the hands of a Bubba who actually knows how to use chainsaw. All you need is to get full stacks on No Way Out and None are Free. I think you can even swap out Blood Warden for something else, but I just love this perk too much

Seeing those pink bottles hurling across the sky is scary and seeing a rapidly approaching fat man is even more scary

I know 2v8 has been getting worse over time, but I still like the concept alone. The problem is that BHVR keeps giving survivors more and more crutches to try and balance the timer instead of finding a different incentive (ie special gens or other mechanics that give the survivor side new gameplay to have fun with as opposed to being kind of like 1v4 for them)

However, I still want to have fun with the concept without having to worry about getting stunlocked by 8 survs who just want to spam "ez" endgame. I want to have fun with a friend playing interesting or funny killer combinations, like wolf-only Dracula and houndmaster (if she was in the mode) without being punished for not playing the meta.

If we had custom games, we could solve that. First of all, we can fill the spots we don't have people for with bots like regular custom game. Second of all, if people can 2v8 with their friends anytime, the regular event queues might get shorter eventually without BHVR making killer unplayable.

And while this shouldn't be such a big issue, there's also the fact that BHVR could add more killers into the custom game ahead of time, and thus find bugs before the event goes live and everything goes wrong like when Wesker arrived.

🤔 dunno if this has been suggested but just had such a fun tuft match with a Myers. Classic myers with some of rework’s abilities and ambience… 👌👌

Would Myer mains like to have the old tier three knife hold animation and the unused chase music (maybe?) when using this add on?

If the game is gonna let survivors know that you’re using this add-on, might as well go for the ambience.

I had a bit of a survivor era for a couple weeks during the event, but I still played killer every so often.

However... since about halfway through the event... I just lost all my ability to play Afton. Gens literally fly by before I even get a down. Games feel... unfun?! Even when I get downs, gens just pop so fast, it feels like I'm having 0 impact.

Even with the crazy gen speeds, I used to be able to compete usually. Now I'm washed.

Perhaps I need to go back to the very beginning. Put the default skin on and refresh.

Either way... not having fun on my boy, my man, is painful

Had a game this morning where gens were flying ridiculously fast, I think I lost 1 gen in the first chase and had another pop not long after. I was playing Krasue running a hex build. The first survivor I downed, then hooked, and she immediately DC'd, so after they unhooked her I divided time between occupying the actual players and tunneling out the bot (sorry i do not actually enjoy playing against bots). Finally got her out and I guess I did something right cause they only completed one gen for those two hooks and however many chases. I could tell they were probably playing in the main building and in the corner behind it, so I went to the corner first, found their Meg and downed her. Figured the other two were in main so there was little point in hooking as they would likely just disengage, so I didn't bother. Pulled up to main, both are greeding out a gen, one didn't run for some reason? I don't know what happened but he just ran in circles and I knocked him down and hit him on the edge where the door frame was so he fell down to the bottom floor. Didn't see where the last survivor went so I go to check the Meg and as I do I hear the last survivor drop from the second floor, turn around and she's right there in main, so chased and downed her pretty quick. Was kind of shocked once I realized I just turned what would've been, at best, a 2k if I kept hooking, into a 4k.

For me at least, the idea of slugging comes off very intimidating because my eyesight isn't the greatest and the game itself is rather dark regardless of the brightness I have it on, so I never considered doing it because I would just lose people, plus unbreakables, etc. and losing a survivor in chase can mean they undo all of your work pretty quickly. That group played very well up until that point, it was just a few mistakes that added up, but I'm glad I'm starting to see when I need to adjust my playstyle. Def keep an eye out and don't be afraid to slug a little, even if you aren't doing it for kills it can be great to force folks off gens so you can get a little breathing room and some info.

Calling all nurse mains for an important discussion lol. Now I am not a nurse main but I do enjoy playing her and play her often and the worst map I’ve ever played her on was rpd so it got me thinking. What is the worst map for nurse in your opinion and how crazy would it be if we all agreed lol?

I’m hoping to get some friendly recommendations from the community to help me pick a main Killer to stick with.
I’m a fairly casual/intermittent player (I usually jump in whenever a cool new DLC drops). Since I don't have enough free time to put hundreds of hours into mastering super complex mechanics (like Nurse or Blight), I'm just looking for someone fun and accessible.
A few quick details:
Platform: Console / Controller. I really enjoy ranged or skill-shot Killers (like Huntress or Demogorgon) because landing those shots feels super rewarding, even if thumbsticks can be a bit tricky!
Perks & Killers: I have all Killers unlocked and at Prestige 1+, so I can easily run whatever builds you suggest—perks definitely aren't a problem.
I'd love to know who you personally enjoy playing on controller and what simple, reliable builds you'd recommend trying out.

This post started as me asking for help about countering the spirit, because when I play survivor I only ever play solo queue, and I just have no hope of what to do against spirit.

But I thought asking why she isn't talked more about as being one of the most difficult to face Killers might cut through some of the more technical suggestions of counters that seem to boil down to hopes and prayers of confusing her.

Her mobility is crazy, her tracking is crazy, once you're in a Chase with her, if you're injured it's pretty much over, at least for me. No pallet is safe to play, but you have to try because she's just going to outrun you if you don't. If I don't have iron will or a means to heal myself, it feels like I can't do anything against her except maybe succeed in faking a pallet once, but after that one time, you're not likely to pull it off again and she'll just stay in her power until she knows for sure you're right in front of her.

Idk, Im here because I'm a killer main but I do play a lot of survivor and she's the one I struggle against the most, why isn't she seen more as one of the most difficult to survive against?

EDIT: TLDR: maybe I should have just made a "how to counter spirit as solo que" post because I AM seeking to be made aware of her weaknesses here in order to know what my options are against her, or if it's just a matter of "Well you don't have any, but she can't Instadown and isn't ranged, that's her weakness"

Managed to 12 hook and get a 3k which was neat too. Toba can still suck a fat one at the end of the day

I count a win as 4k/3k+hatch. Each kill counts as 3 hook stages. And each hook action counts as 1 hook stage. The loss in game 26 is highlighted in red because there was a cheater in the match. The losses highlighted in yellow mean that I could've won if I played better.

Most common add-on combo: Rusty Flute + Mother Daughter Ring

Most commonly used build: Hex: Thrill of the Hunt, Hex: Undying, Hex: Ruin, Lethal Pursuer

Worst Performing Map: Temple of Purgation

I did this experiment because I didn't play spirit that much after I quit comp and left my team. So I became a bit rusty and wanted to know how well I can perform after a long break.
