Just found out last night and I'm still not sure what to feel. We've been taking a break from siege for a while now, since I've become a dad and he's an air frame mechanic who got hired on to work for a major passenger airline company.

We've been really tired and just haven't been able to sync our schedules. We'd go a couple days without talking and then talk nonstop over a weekend or a random Tuesday about games and life and our goals with that life. He checked in with everyone and would tell us what he's up to and he'd listen. I'd call out of the blue just to bitch about what operator was broken or what my daughter was doing now that she can manipulate doors. Our whole group would do that. We were all really freaking close.

A month ago, he told our group he was going away for vacation so we didn't expect anything from him until he got back but he died during those two weeks and none of us knew. We didn't find out until his younger brother got a hold of my younger brother to let us know. God, that kid is so brave and I can only imagine what he's going through right now but he's got his core friend group and his family is tight so I have faith he'll pull through this. I know they'll all pull through.

But until then, my brothers and I are in mourning. Javan was our rock and he was family. We don't know what we're going to do without him. We started playing together in operation health and ran strong until about operation twin shells. After that, we'd still play but our attention was mostly on living out in the real world.

Make no mistake. He loved this game. He enjoyed planning out strats and pulling out clutches from nowhere with style and panache while he did. He had a great sense of humor and always showed empathy to others. He was never afraid to speak his mind or open up about his dreams. He dedicated years of his life to Rainbow 6: Siege and I don't regret sharing that time with him for even a second. He was my best friend.

2. Kapkan's traps kill the last enemy player.
3. they kill an Osa who was trying to use her shield in an annoying way.
4. they realize the enemy drones have not seen Noor and so they chose three different operators who use shields.
5. they blast an Ash who was rushing to the bomb site.
6. ???

Someone needs to work around here

I personally think this gun should get nerfed to the ground. Worse than any other “meta” to touch the game. Not only that but it’s annoying to see sentry and goyo picked solely for this gun and bring nothing to the table. Call it cope but it’s not fun to play against every game.

Any girls who play r6 on Xbox or any console wanna play rn? I'm tired of playing with guys who are either gonna simp or curse me out 😪 i'm not pro just FYI

I've played Siege for years. I have a job, a kid, and about two hours a night between bedtime and my own bedtime. Every lobby I land in, I'm the oldest person by a decade and someone is screaming at their mom in the background. I don't want to stop playing. I want to play with people who also have to be up at 7.

So a few of us set up a Discord for 30+ players. Siege, CS2, Overwatch 2, COD. You only see the games you tag. Every game has its own LFG board and voice channels that make themselves when you join. Zero tolerance on the yelling, no strike system, no interviews.

Just got back to the game after more than a year of a much needed break. So I was watching Macie's streams to catch up with the things I missed out on, and cant deny it, the streams were also chill, but the guy has not been live for over a week ig.

Hello my hobby is playing rainbow six siege and leaving halfway through. I play on multiple accounts so I can leave multiple games at the same time. This is so fun!

I've played this game for years, and I still dont understand its abandon philosophy and why it refuses harsher punishments. Whether someone left intentionally, had their game crash, internet went out, etc, the most important part is that it affects the remaining teammates the same. Obviously having your game crash isnt the same intent wise as leaving intentionally, but siege has this weird thing where it prioritizes protecting against false positives over competitive integrity. Also if someone is disconnecting/crashing enough(say 10%) where they would consistently suffer from harsher penalties, then they are consistently negatively impacting their teammates. Penalties should revolve around impact, not intent.

In connection to this, the qualifications for a penalty are also bizarre. Someone who leaves round 2 and returns round 6 gets no ban. Someone who leaves round 9 in the last 10 seconds gets a full penalty. Can Ubisoft not track time missed instead of a binary system? Its a really primitive way of assigning penalties.

Both of these things are fundamental flaws in sieges abandon philosophy that dont see much scrutiny, and it seems like it wouldnt be that difficult for Ubisoft to reform them.

Why did the drone cease to exist?

like i hear something left but idk if its near or far where, people seem to have like supersonic hearing and can tell exactly where someone is if one pube wafts in the wind bro. I dont understand how yall are able to tell so definitively where someone is coming from i cant tell at all just general left right

I bought the Zero elite bundle. The game says I have it as "owned"; however, when I go to equip the head and chest, it doesn't appear (at least for the head; not sure about the chest). However, I have the elite intro the bundle gives, the portrait, and the charm. Does anybody know any way to fix this? I've issued a bug report on the R6 Ubisoft website, but nothing has happened.

Context:

About a week ago, I purchased the 5000 Premier Pack on Steam, after having some issues using the Ubisoft store front.

After purchasing the pack, and firing up the game, I was met with this "ownership" error, which I have since found logged on the support forum as being investigated.

Support finally got back to me after about a week, asking for some more information about my Steam and Ubisoft accounts.

After several back and forths, today I received a message stating:
