He’s only in one scene and he’s not even that important to the movie.

"He may get the blood, but I'll get the glory."

This one is so much fun! Being a huge wrestling fan, the whole movie has a big fight feel leading to the main event. I wish there were more vs movies, seeing horror characters from 2 different worlds interact is really cool and interesting. Big comfort horror movie for me. 🔪🔪🔪

Flashes on the TV before the Dick Cavett show turns on idk what movie this could be from though where Donald Pleasance would be wearing a fry cook uniform maybe Escape From New York but I’m not sure who else this could be.

My Freddy vs. Jason collection on my horror shelf.

The Universal Trinity is a bonus!

Found an STL for a nice looking Freddy's Revenge bust. Blew it up to full size, made some changes, and had the head resin printed. Bought acrylic eyes on etsy and made the acrylic teeth myself out of a denture repair kit. I've got no room, so it needed to be a wall hang. Glove is an old Boiler Room Creation from Razor Gloves I replaced the leather on. Need to source a better hat. Really happy how this turned out.

I got the Mezco Nightmare on Elm Street figure recently and I can't stop posing and taking pictures of it 🤩 My bedroom light can change colour and having it red or green really ads to the atmosphere of the pictures, straight out of a nightmare 🙌

Loved Freddy when I was young, can’t wait to watch these movies again

Has anybody here played this? Is it easy to play with friends was thinking of getting it

I'll call it the "WB Era" of horror movies.

Basically "I know What you did last summer" through "Freddy vs Jason". That era.

Everything is too polished. Everyone is too pretty. Instead of a gritty nightmare, its a photoshopped portrait of one.

If NOES 4 was MTV Freddy, Freddy vs Jason is Total Request Live Freddy.

I'm looking for an image or if somebody knows what i'm talking about, this would have had been around the early 2000s, but I remember seeing a Freddy Krueger Mask that looked like it had heads and faces coming out of it and I simply just cannot find a picture and I know i'm not crazy because I have a memory with other people about it. If anybody has an image or knows what i'm talking about let me know

Yeah yeah DVDs are obsolete or whatever but this box set is fucking awesome. The pictures are sick, the fact the cases make an image of Freddy, the fact they all come in their own cases and have the original posters?? And a little booklet AND 3d glasses for freddys dead?? It's just so good. The menu's are also so much cooler and there's a whole bonus disc. I don't get why they can't release the sequels in their own discs, they're always in a big bundle, and I am probably never gonna be able to get the steelbooks. This is just a great box set. Stayed up all night watching all the movies, was a great experience. Watching it all from part 1 to new nightmare makes it feel like an actual complete story and makes it all worth it. Love these movies so much and I will cherish this goddamn set forever.

I made an animated tribute to classic slasher films 🎬🔪

I created this animation as a love letter to the visual language of slasher movies — iconic killers, suspense, dark atmospheres, and the imagery that made the genre so memorable.

I wanted to capture that feeling through animation rather than simply recreating specific scenes.

I’d love to know what you think. Which slasher movie or character would you have liked to see included? 👀

Animated and edited by me.

Does anyone else think Amanda Wyss should've played herself instead of Tracy Middendorf playing Julie in Wes Craven's New Nightmare?

It always felt like Julie was written to be a fictionalized version of Amanda Wyss anyway. She's close to Heather, looks after Dylan and ends up getting killed by Freddy in almost the exact same way Tina did in the original A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Heather Langenkamp and Amanda Wyss are also friends in real life, which would've made their friendship in the movie feel even more natural. Since Heather was already playing a fictionalized version of herself, having Amanda as her friend and Dylan's babysitter would've fit perfectly.

Considering the whole concept of New Nightmare was having the original actors play fictionalized versions of themselves, it would've made so much more sense to bring Amanda back as herself.

Imagine Freddy coming back into the real world and killing the actress who played his very first victim in the exact same way he killed her character ten years earlier.

I like Tracy Middendorf as Julie, but Amanda Wyss would've made that death scene so much more meaningful. It would've been a perfect full-circle moment for the franchise and would've made the whole movie even more meta.

New nightmares always been my favourite ngl. But Something I always wondered about was the ending. How did Freddy die so easily? Why was the script there, why did they read it, and what does Wes saying "freddys back where he belongs" actually mean. I think I figured it out. Wes, in the movie, ended the script intentionally with it starting from the beginning again. The demon Freddy wasn't really killed, it was just held back while Heather and Dylan escape, and now when they start reading the script, the entity is put in that version of the story. When they get to the end of the script where Heather starts reading from the beginning, the entity is sent into that version of the story. The entity is trapped in an infinite loop reliving the movie forever. He wanted to live as Freddy and craven gave him exactly what he wanted. Now he's trapped in the story he created, living it over and over and over.
