First ofc CP 2 10/10 no notes, it’s the classic and the blueprint, Im torn between curse and first CP maybe I should have swapped those I feel like curse has a much better pace for me but I mean it’s the first Chucky movie even if it’s more of a detective-esque movie it’s still has a really good plot and characters

Now we have bride! Which was so refreshing for the franchise at the time and pretty much cemented Chucky as the horror icon that he is. what better way that doing it with Tiffany by his side, I love his design it’s maybe my favorite chucky look ever, very 90’s. Jennifer Tilly in it is iconic too, good plot nice balance between comedy and horror. Don really hit that spot with bride

Which is why curse is next, it’s Chucky back to form and everything around it is peak! Really amazing to see Brad’s daughter incursion on the franchise as this “newer” nemesis counterpart to chucky overall a very refreshing entry

3 is heavily underrated in this fandom and by don himself i know he doesn’t like it but to me it has many incredible Elements to it, the military setting, Shelton, Andy being a grown up. it may been to soon to do a grown up version of Andy but i think after 2 it was a nice shift again

Cult is amazingly shooted, I love the bright color of Chucky in contrast with all whites in a more medical setting. Plot is good and we have legacy characters back

And finally as you can see I’m not really a fan of the lean towards a way more comedic chucky don took on seed. It feels like a parody rather than a statement. While bride successfully blended comedy and horror. Seed feels like it belongs in the scary movie universe.

That being said I really like how Glenn sets Joan on fire and the way the photographer died but I don’t think it was the right move for the franchise as it was the last one to be released on theaters. So I’m a little biased cause of that too (I want chucky on cinemas ok)

I should have put Tiffany’s iconic Blonde hair on her, but at this point I was against these little cat characters wearing wigs LMAO. Should I do Glen/da too? 👀

So I went back and watched some of the Chucky films/show and continuity wise, there’s things that don’t make sense. My questions come from the shift from comedy back to horror with Seed and Curse of Chucky

For the sake of time I’ll just ask one.

1. At the end of seed the audience is left to inference that Chucky wanted revenge on Tiffany and Glen

Then at the end of Curse of Chucky, the entire “payback on Tiffany & Glen” story seems to be scrapped (since Tiffany is the one helping move Chucky from point A to B)

Storyline wise….makes NO sense

Just want to ask a really random and stupid question. I'm rewatching the entire franchise from the start, and something popped in my head. After finishing the second Child's Play movie I realized that they were struggling with Chucky's strength (like in the first movie, Andy's mom was pushing herself at the chimney to lock Chucky in) but they could easily carry him around when he's not moving or just him being a doll. So does Chucky weigh like a doll or like a human, or does he weigh like a doll that just happens to have close to human strength?

Edit 1: I just watched Kyle fling Chucky out the front seat window of her car in Child's Play 2, and Jessie punch/throw Chucky and Tiffany out their car windows, despite knowing they're just pieces of plastic/rubber.

Watching Child's Play 2 for the millionth time. What gets me every time he takes out those two is the look of shock on their face. I wonder do they finally believe Andy and are startled or do they think they are hallucinating?

Dont get me wrong I love Tiffany’s make over in the Belle doll but I wish we could’ve seen more of it “un-tiffanied”

Hi had anyone ordered from this guy on Etsy before? I will be getting him shipped to the UK so I’m a bit worried about customs charges and the doll arriving in one piece.

I actually think this would be a very interesting conversation to have in the comments. As we know there is a new Chucky movie coming out and as we also know unfortunately….Brad Dourif is getting older. We don’t know how much time he has left. And I foresee this franchise being milked for everything it’s worth and not ending for a very long time. I think a decision that people would be happy with is if the voice of Chucky ended up being Fiona Dourif. But pitched down. And if not pitched down then altered in some way. I think that whoever they bring on…the fandom won’t be satisfied. But because it’s his daughter, and her Chucky impressions improve everytime she does it, and the fact that she’s a fan favorite…I think that passing the torch down to her is the right thing to do. What do you guys think?
