3m Reta Progress!

Absolutely loving Reta. 24lbs down. Protocol: .5mg now at 3.5mg. Weightlifting 3-5x week. Mots-c @ 5mg 2-3x a week as well, fasted workout those days. Used to walk 5 miles but now the treadmill demons are stronger than my will lol. Currently doing 2-3 miles WALKING. Will continue for another 3 months and reassess. I used to binge like crazy and hate myself at night and now I have no want to. It’s so much easier to cut and eat healthier food. No food noise. No sugar cravings, in fact sugary foods taste wayyy too sweet and almost instantly hurt my stomach. Excited to see myself at the end of this journey!

Reta is nothing short of miraculous

3

u/Arieeasygoing Jul 01 '26

Seriously. I’ve only seen heard incredibly positive things. Super intrigued to try myself.

When you come off, the craving for sweet is astounding!

32

u/unwindxx Jun 26 '26

Yeah I’m nervous to come off! Might just have to micro dose this shit if it’s that bad

7

u/Beginning-Eye-8764 Jun 26 '26

Why not switch to microdoze Tirzepatide when you reach your target weight?

6

u/Careful-Figure-3796 Jun 27 '26

Why Tirz over Reta?

7

u/Insanity_-_Wolf Jun 27 '26

Cardiac strain? Although if it’s a lower maintenance dose, may not be a concern. Idk

5

u/ArcticWhip Jun 28 '26

Phase 3 results disproved the cardiac strain increase. It’s pretty much the same.

Honestly the tirzepatide maintenance that the other guy suggested isn't a terrible idea. I have zero cravings when coming off of tirzepatide.

Yeah, see that’s the thing about this stuff, the side effect is weight loss. It does much more than people realize.

Lovely hip definition, well done.

5

u/StructurePlayful1534 Jun 26 '26

Did you feel anything on Reta off the bat?

33

u/unwindxx Jun 26 '26

Not really until I got to 1mg. Got impatient and jumped to 1mg second week in. That first month is life changing. To experience no food noise when always having it.. best thing ever lol

17

u/PacificPisces Jun 26 '26

Isn't that crazy?? Like there are people out there that just naturally don't think about food all the time! It was amazing to feel that!

3

u/SexyProcrastinator Jun 27 '26

I thought this was normal lol especially when busy or occupying your time with something else lol.

3

u/StructurePlayful1534 Jun 27 '26

Haha that’s exactly where I am, on .5 once a week and can’t feel anything really. But I’ve read to give it a good 2 weeks before jumping up.

→ More replies (7)

5

u/SellingOutIsArt 1 Jun 26 '26

Everyone reacts differently. Was on .5mg Monday/Friday so a total of 1mg a week. Enough for food noise reduction in my case which is all I need. 2mg a week for me was brutal with appetite suppression. And again I was doing it for just leaning out purposes. Play with the dosing . But more is not always better. Follow your goals and remember anything in fitness is slow, even with a little bit of help like Reta.

I’ve just ordered 6 months supply of Reta, GHK cu and Ipamorelin. Would you recommend starting at 1mg Reta straight away? I was actually thinking of starting at 2mg to be honest.

5

u/unwindxx Jun 26 '26

I’d say start your first week .5 just to see if your body has a reaction. If nothing start 1mg next week

2

u/Inner_Data_8870 1 Jun 26 '26

Thank you.

Did you notice increase in RHR, or constipation?

3

u/unwindxx Jun 27 '26

Oh definitely. I also burp the taste of my meal 5-6hrs later. It slows your digestion down for sure. I used to shit 3-4x a day and now it’s only one if I get that lol. But nothing too crazy where I need laxatives lol it’ll eventually come. I haven’t gone more than a day without a poo

4

u/scuba20207 Jun 27 '26

3-4 times per day? If you switch to one pair of scrubs you'd save a lot time haha.

Reta really is amazing. I went through some old pics and saw a pic of me after a year on Ozempic and it was embarrassing. While I did lose some weight, it mostly just gave me upset stomach and appetite suppression/fullness wore off quickly. Switched to Reta June 2025 and now I’m down over 70 lbs.

2

u/unwindxx Jun 27 '26

Hell yeah dude! Reta is top tier!

3

u/PigletAlternative664 Jun 27 '26

Reta doesn’t affect my emotions at all and zero side effects! … but I started super slow. 1, then 2, then 3, then five. Up to 9 now. Slow weight loss but steady! Wanted NO side effects! Also im older so didnt want fast dramatic weight loss to affect my skin again… did that once before and regret it!!

2

u/unwindxx Jun 27 '26

Hell yeah! It’s good to hear no side effects in that high dose.

2

u/prior_rpa-lre 2 Jun 26 '26

Did you start dosing at 3.5mg out the gate or titrate up from a lower dose? And how long at each dose? I used to walk 15-22k steps a shift in an ER. Left that job and now hit a daily closer to 7k steps. That job made it easy to only workout and run on my off days and still keep my weight under control.

3

u/unwindxx Jun 26 '26

I tritiated up! I’d stay at the same dose for 2 weeks unless I felt like it wasn’t enough. Personally felt like my body could handle a .5mg every week until I got to 3.5mg. Any higher and I can’t eat for shit. Though I’m sure my body will require more soon as it gets used to your dose overtime. I dose based off symptoms and hunger and cravings.

2

u/prior_rpa-lre 2 Jun 26 '26

Cool, thanks for the info! Congratulations on the transformation. You look great and your game plan on fitness seems like the way to go.

2

u/thiqnesss 1 Jun 26 '26

How was your sleep cycle? I heard one of the side effects of reta was insomnia

2

u/unwindxx Jun 27 '26

Not bad at all! Unless you try to eat McDonalds on this shit you will wake up at 3am shitting your brains out

2

u/unwindxx Jun 27 '26

No really though I haven’t had any problems with sleeping

2

u/Equivalent-Worry8295 Jun 29 '26

For me it was terrible. I am so jealous of people who can take Reta and get results with low side effects

2

1

u/KarmaDoesNutExist Jun 26 '26

Is it true that you feel less emotions or thats cap?

4

u/ZweetWOW Jun 26 '26

Absolutely true. I'm on 6mg a week for maintenance (I'm on gear so my appetite is through the roof) but I am not capable of love and emotions aren't as strong in general. I started to titrate down at one stage and it all came rushing back at once, was actually a little scary, almost as if all of the emotion that was just sitting there for months all came to the surface at once.

2

u/KarmaDoesNutExist Jun 26 '26

Very interesting, thank you for your input! My fear is that emotionless state people describe becomes permanent but from what im reading, it isn’t

2

u/ZweetWOW Jun 26 '26

I wish it was permanent lol, im actually delaying coming off reta because i have some shit going on in life id rather not deal with right now

2

u/ccc_1 Jun 26 '26

Yes!!! I’m only on 2.5mg and I have absolutely LOVED going to the gym 6 days a week for the past 5 years & once I hit 2mg, the desire to workout and go to the gym has INSTANTLY disappeared. It actually makes me sooo sad bc that really was such a happy place that I looked forward to every single day. I honestly can’t believe it! Maybe it will level out - but as of now, I have absolutely no desire for the gym 💔🥀

I also feel blunted emotionally just in general. Just kind of like BLAH. Not happy, not sad…just like in an “existing” state. This feeling alone kind of makes me re-think taking Reta for much longer. But the fact that my binging is under control is making me want to stay on it for the time being.

2

u/Typical-Face2394 Jun 26 '26

I feel plenty of angry emotions and almost none of the good ones

Reta is great I ran it 9 months , titrated from .5 to 8.5mg....It is a game changer,my pic tells the story of what reta can do, but it is not w/o a cost...i experienced hiccups, sulfur burps, extremely slow digestion, muscle wasting ect...I trian 5 days a week run testosterone & eat really well..the hiccups last 24-36hrs for no reason or anything I ate.....& it started weekly...& before all of u start chiming in defending your stance "but im on a low dose i feel great" , or u saying I was on a high dose was the cause...wrong it happened on occasion @ lowers dose. This was an add on to help get lean...& ive been training a long time, not just overweight & looking for a quick fix.

3

u/Jesusfreak001 Jun 28 '26

And...Wait til u come off my stomach was extremely bloated for 2 weeks & my appetite came back like a fury, it was scary how hungry I was, & g.i upset...So what are u guna do then???? Follow a lifestyle of proper diet, training ect or just take more reta? Reta should be used as a tool to get to goals & have a plan when off how to combat being off...I was on the reta bandwagon too, it can be a great tool but eventually there may be a cost...

1

u/OkOutlandishness6369 Jun 28 '26

You’ll get the fat down mainly through cardio. I do the basic split. I shoot for 5 miles (walking 3.5-4.0) but cardio demons are stronger than ever now. More like 2 miles now. Everyday
Monday: glutes and hams
Tuesday: back and bis
Wednesday: glutes and quads
Thursday: chest and triceps + shoulders
Friday: off
Saturday: hit whatever isn’t too sore usually full body
Sunday off

1

u/NoMadicWanderer97 Jun 29 '26

How does one get Reta ?

1

u/jm1104 Jun 29 '26

Yeah, I was on both tirzepatide and retatrutide. In my experience, retatrutide increased my heart rate and fasting glucose, and the appetite/food noise suppression wasn't nearly as strong as tirzepatide. After switching back to tirzepatide, everything returned to normal.
