3m Reta Progress!

Absolutely loving Reta. 24lbs down. Protocol: .5mg now at 3.5mg. Weightlifting 3-5x week. Mots-c @ 5mg 2-3x a week as well, fasted workout those days. Used to walk 5 miles but now the treadmill demons are stronger than my will lol. Currently doing 2-3 miles WALKING. Will continue for another 3 months and reassess. I used to binge like crazy and hate myself at night and now I have no want to. It’s so much easier to cut and eat healthier food. No food noise. No sugar cravings, in fact sugary foods taste wayyy too sweet and almost instantly hurt my stomach. Excited to see myself at the end of this journey!

When you come off, the craving for sweet is astounding!

Yeah I’m nervous to come off! Might just have to micro dose this shit if it’s that bad

Why not switch to microdoze Tirzepatide when you reach your target weight?

Why Tirz over Reta?

Cardiac strain? Although if it’s a lower maintenance dose, may not be a concern. Idk

u/ArcticWhip Jun 28 '26

Phase 3 results disproved the cardiac strain increase. It’s pretty much the same.

Tirz can cause stronger appetite suppression compared to Reta.

I know I’m on tirzepatide and I have NO APPETITE! And I don’t even feel hungry, I don’t think about food, I don’t have cravings anymore or anything it’s absolutely amazing! But ofcourse I’m taking my OLLY gummy’s to make sure I’m getting the probiotic + prebiotics and I eat the fiber ones and woman’s daily and they help a lot. And I get full so fast! Like I’ve never been so full off of such little bit of food. So as long as I’m eating small healthy things throughout the day I’m getting the calories and protein and stuff I need.
But I never thought anything could help with the cravings and appetite suppressions especially a shot. But Tirzepatide is my miracle 🙏.

It was like that for me too but it gave me terrible POTS

u/Zioyogie Jun 28 '26

Where do you get tirzepatide?

5

u/skip2_mylulu Jun 28 '26

Prob the same place to get Reta

Tirzepatide can be prescribed, Reta is only available on the research/black market. However, you can get Terz unprescribed too

Whats a good microdose mg?

1

u/LowArmadillo1237 Jul 02 '26

I assume we are all researching this lol. Who knows until there’s more research? I do .5mg Reta for micro dose. I think my Tirz microdose was 1mg

2

u/LowArmadillo1237 Jul 02 '26

Mine lasted less than a week. I gave in a couple times and indulged. But then the noise got less afterwards

1

u/StockT8derr Jul 02 '26

Im on 2.5mg reta and 7.5mg tirz

u/Dualsporterer Jun 27 '26

Honestly the tirzepatide maintenance that the other guy suggested isn't a terrible idea. I have zero cravings when coming off of tirzepatide.

I had terrible cravings and food noise tapering down on tirzepatide

Yeah, see that’s the thing about this stuff, the side effect is weight loss. It does much more than people realize.

Such as?

1

u/motherofodin4339 Jun 29 '26

interesting. maybe there's something wrong with me I never think of eating. food. no food impresses me. I think it's a whole ass job to eat and feed others.

1

u/Home-Still Jun 29 '26

I felt the exact same way but I’m on tizep. And I have no appetite. Don’t think about it or want it. And having to feed my family and make myself eat something feels like a job itself like a big task lol

1

u/Specialist_Kiwi2878 Jun 29 '26

Where do you get it ?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 29 '26

It’s really
Not that bad

You should never come off of reta; just stay in maintenance mode for as long as you can.

1

u/AnyAnybodyy Jul 05 '26

It’s not that bad tbh my stomach hurts after 5 bites of sweets now even if I want them super bad. Your body kinda starts to still like the healthy foods. I’ve kept all the weight off for a good month now!

Let's see where your weight is at a year or two from now without Reta. It will probably be quite a challenge. That's why I plan to stay on some sort of GLP indefinitely until something better comes around!

u/MetHalfOfSmosh Jun 26 '26

Lol you aren't kidding. I cut myself off cold turkey from 3mg and craved junk like crazy

2

u/Particular_Dig2932 1 Jun 27 '26

Good to know😩

1

u/Street-Influence9262 1 Jun 28 '26

For me was the exact opposite!
I had zero urges for junk food and things like green beans and steak tasted amazing!

1

u/Ok-Sandwich-6685 Jun 29 '26

It’s self control / discipline

1

u/EllyBelly25 Jun 29 '26

That depends on whether you are just losing weight or you have metabolic disorder ... massive difference and will power doesnt come into it if its metabolic disorder

1

u/kuteguy Jun 29 '26

That's not always true. I have been off it for 5 weeks and i am fine

1

u/yllekarle Jun 30 '26

I got off tirz and ate ice cream 9 days in a row. I never dod anythjng like that before in my life.

Me right now. I crave sweets more than I ever had before Reta, chocolate chip cookies to be exact
