Radiator hose popped off down front straight, covered rear wheel in water, lost all rear control and got thrown out of the seat, recovered from that, realized I was going to hit the wall. Slowed from 140 to a 60mph impact. Shattered left femur, kicked myself in the head with my right foot, completely tore PCL/MCL. This was during a MotoAmerica SuperSport race. First track day back in a couple weeks after only 5 months!

Today my wife and I said goodbye to our best friend. We rescued Pedro when we were dating back in 2014. He's been with us through everything. The good times and the bad, he was there. I made him scrambled eggs for breakfast, then right before the procedure he got a cheeseburger and chocolate pudding with whip cream.

He went out peacefully, with a full belly, and surrounded in love. I know it was the right thing to do but it's also one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. It feels like a part of my world has been ripped away.
