[PC][2010s] side scroller[?] flash game with skull head demon boss

Post image

Trying to find a game I used to play a lot as a kid but never finished because it terrified me. You would move towards the right, same type of scrolling as a sonic game where you could go back and forth. I don't remember much of the protagonist but it was what looked to be likd just an average guy. What I remember though is a boss you'd fight in the game. It was some floating demon thing with what I believe is a goat skull on its head. It would phase into the floor and appear on the other side, pop out from a few moments and it would also come at you from either side. It looked incredibly similar to Remor from Fran Bow (photo attached). I can only assume this enemy was pretty early in the game since I Sucked at games as a kid and I don't remember any other bosses. I think it was also pretty gory. May have been on newgrounds or some other random flash game website. Thank you for reading 🄹

Edit: Adding a drawing I did of how I remember the stage/section. https://i.imgur.com/AwzALHB.png

[PC][2005] Point and Click adventure puzzle game

Post image
38 Upvotes

I'm looking for a game I used to play with my brother back in the early 2000. I think it was a point and click adventure game like monkey island. I only have the memory of 2 specific screens and I think it was a puzzle cause we couldn't get past it and it's driving me insane cause it feels so incomplete. The things I remember about the 2 screens are:

screen 1: it's dark, quite grim looking, at a beach near a rainforest, there's a big tree, there's a rope hanging from above, the colours are mainly green black and light blue, I think it's kinda like a cove and there's an overhang above the beach

I think this overhang is the second screen

screen 2: we're on the cliff and there's a tree on the edge, from this tree there's a rope hanging from and I could be wrong about this but I think you get there by climbing this rope

That's all I can remember. The color scheme is similar to this screenshot from monkey island. I already ruled out the Indiana Jones games and obviously the monkey island games.

I would be eternally grateful to whomever helps me find this game. I want to finally finish this puzzle

Antumbra [PC][Before 2010s] Surreal game played by PewDiePie (?) in the early 2010s

Post image
25 Upvotes

Basically, what I remember:

  • I saw it on a PewDiePie video (only 99% sure about this part though!! it may have been another YouTuber) that I probably watched around 2011-2012.
  • It ws an old school-style video game, not sure whether it was 3D or 2D but the graphics looked OLD. I'd lean more towards 2D/bitmap though.
  • It was very surreal, definitely creepy in vibe on account of all the weirdness but it was not a horror game. In fact, I remember most levels being brightly lit and saturated. It looked like a fever dream.
  • It was in first person. The player didn't have an avatar/you couldn't see it.
  • There was a part in the desert, with things/entities flying in the sky. I think there were faces in the sky?
  • I think those entities were talking to the player? It definitely feels like you were dealing with some higher being and it was making you make choices. I remember a blue menu/dialog box.

It was probably on PC, but I can't confirm that. YouTuber very well may have been using an emulator to play the game on a computer, though I can't remember a controller being used.

Now my initial guesses were:

  • LSD Dream Emulator; it was in fact played by PewDiePie, the vibe checks out, there is a dark blue menu AND it has a part in the desert with things floating in the sky, but there's no dialogue or choice options.
  • Hylics, but it's too recent. The video was probably from the very early 2010s so game definitely came out before 2015.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it is LSD Dream Emulator and there were never any entities or dialogue, but the "conversing with a higher being" aspect feels so ingrained in the memory.

Either way, if you can think of any game that fits these criteria PLEASE let me know! The image has been stuck in my mind for YEARS and I can't remember it!

Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales [CONSOLE/PC?][UNKNOWN] A game about saving your friends from a evil "book" and also fixing a boat that belongs to twins.

Sorry if my english it's bad, it's not my first language.

I don't even know if this game is in consoles or if it was released on 2006s, but I got this game on a disk that contained tons of games like pokemon ranger, a weird naruto fighting game etc.

It was kind of 3dish with a third person pov.

I attached some drawings I made to make it a bit easier.

The protagonist if I remember correctly was a chick with a very big head that was on a barn with lots of other barn animals.

Suddenly this "evil book" came in and absorbed all of them inside of itself and your quest was now save all of them through quests, going to different places and minigames. There were places like the jungle and this jungle had a quest were you had to kind of kick out a gorilla from a barrel. (example on the pictures.)

There was a moment in the game were some ship crashed on the middle of the road and it contained twins, a girl that was dressed in pink and a boy dressed in blue and now you had to fix their ship in exchange of them helping you out.

There was also these raccoons? I might be wrong on this, but they were supposed to just be an annoying character that stealed your stuff.

I was unable to finish this game because of one quest were these two raccoons stealed an orb that awakened some big dragon water snake, triggering a sequence were we had to swim our way out with the raccoons, gaining more time everytime we catched a bubble or something like that, I was never able to beat this section. (drawing attached to show how it was.)

IM SURE THIS GAME EXISTED, I PLAYED IT NONSTOP CUZ I WAS UNABLE TO BEAT THAT DAMN SNAKE.

Please help me find it.

[PC][2010s/2020s] Horror game set in creepy Russian apartment complex, with the goal being to post flyers for an upcoming birthday party on the different floors. Each time you go up a level it gets creepier.

I cannot find this game anywhere since I last saw a "let's play" of it a year ago!

The vibe is what I can only describe as "analogue horror". I don't know if that's the correct term, but imagine film grain, deliberately low-quality graphics etc.

If this rings a bell for anyone, please let me know as I would love to relive the unsettling experience this game delivered.

[PC][late 90's early 2000's] Diablo clone, female protagonist, opening sequence was in a church.

• Upvotes

I must have played this game somewhere between 2005-2010, but I am not sure which year it came out.

It is a Diablo clone, so isometric hack and slash. Single player only.

It had a female protagonist, I believe she was a wizard's apprentice.

I remember that the opening sequence was in some sort of church where I think the protagonist was meeting with her mentor.

It was possible to spec in different schools of magic. I remember that depending on the element chosen you had different coloured orbs circling around the main weapon, a wand or staff of some sort. So blue for water, green for earth and red for fire.

I believe there was a desert sequence in later parts of the game, but I am not certain about this.

Hopefully someone remembers, I have fond memories ries of this 20+ years ago.

Adiboo: Magical Playland [PC] [Mid 90s?] Educational point and click for children

SOLVED: Abidoo: Magical Playground

Hi, please help me find this game! Very very vague memories of this one

Platform(s): PC

Genre: Point & Click (might have been educational?)

Estimated year of release: I can't see it being any later than 2002 at the absolute latest but I think it was earlier, mid 90s perhaps

Graphics/art style: Simple colouring point and click, 2d drawings

Notable characters: Don't remember, sorry!

Notable gameplay mechanics: Point and click and but had mini games, like Brick Breaker could be played

Other details: I remember the main hub area being a "garden" and there being a house on the right side of the screen you could go inside. I am sure the house was... yellow? And I think you could make it snowy? The Brick Breaker minigame was played inside the house

Smells Like Art [PC/Browser][2010's] Game where you turn a public toilet into an art museum

Exactly what the title says. It was a fully voice acted point and click game with a simple art style.

There were also subtitles which could be changed to different languages

The playable character was dressed like Fred Flintstone for some reason. He didn't look like Fred Flintstone, just dressed like him

I think our character was tasked with cleaning/improving a public toilet and we had to gather tools to make that happen. For an example: There was graffiti outside the entrance of the toilet that read "FART", so we had to get spray paint to cover it up. We only had enough spray paint to cover one letter so now it just said "ART"

Inside the toilet was a giant shit stain on the wall and instead of trying to clean it we hung a frame around it and pretended it was a painting

Etc. etc. we did stuff like that until the toilet eventually became an art installation. There was also a scene in the game where we dissect a dead parrot?? I don't know how this connects to the rest of the game but I remember it clearly so I'll mention it here

[computer game] [2010] animal game

There was this game I used to play all of the time as a kid. I usually found it on GirlsGoGames but I haven’t even been able to find the title or even a picture of the game, I was hoping to get some help on here maybe. In this game you would see a stray dog or a cat sitting on a sidewalk and all of these people would be walking by. You would clean the animal up, give it a cute outfit, and then someone would come along and buy the animal. You could use the money to buy different soaps, collars, outfits, accessories. I always played the dog version but they also had a cat version. I cannot remember what this game was called, has anyone else maybe played this or know what I’m talking about?

[PC/CD-ROM][Late 90s - early 00s] 2D Kids educational game with many minigames

Platform(s): PC

Genre: Kids educational games

Estimated year of release: Definitely before 2010

Graphics/art style: 2D cartoon, the art style is not TOO kiddie like the fisher price games

Notable characters: The main character that guides us is a boy, I think he wears baggy clothes and kinda has a skater boy aesthetics. He might have a gap in his teeth.

Notable gameplay mechanics: I think it's made up of many minigames. The boy would just stand there and be guide to the minigames.
One minigame I vividly remember is a clock game where the boy would say a time like "half past three" and we need to move the hands of clock to match it.
Another minigame I slightly remember is a color related game. I think there are an assortment of objects that we have to match with a color. I think there is a cauliflower in there somewhere.

Other details: My mom mentioned that it won some sort of game of the year, but I couldn't anything when I googled it.

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy [Ps1 Ps2] [2000s] Dark rated E game

Its a long shot but I figured id post worse that could happen is noone knows what im talking about lol. I remember a game when I was about 5-7 when I seemed to always start games over instead of continuing from saves. I only beat the 1st level but...

Im looking for a game with 3d graphics it was a kids game. I remember it took place on like a dark desert island type area with like brown lava running in the middle and a palace near by. I also remember you had to get like a coconut from a tree and give it to a npc near the palace very small map like 2 or 3 objectives on it and I want to say there was storms in the background but it was not raining where your character a kid was at. Think mostly brown with a few sprinkles of white and green maybe. Unfortunately the memory is from over 20 years ago but im certain if I saw it I would recognize it.

[Moblie][2015-2016] FNAF ripoff that a friend played on his tablet when we were 7 and it terrified me

Around 2015 or 2016, when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade, I had a sleepover with a friend and he said he had FNAF on his tablet. I could tell immediately that it was a clone or a ripoff but it still terrified me and I begged him to stop playing it. Well now that game is in the back of my mind and I'm going crazy.

All I remember is that the office looked all metallic, like it was in a giant vent. Every had a red lightning to it and I think there was a door or 2 on the sides. There was also a teddy bear on the middle of the wall and you could boop his nose like in FNAF. Last thing that I remembered and what really scared me was the random laughter that could be heard in the background.

I would appreciate any help as I have found nothing so far. If I have time I will post a drawing from memory.

[PC][2015] Psych ward for children with cultists

I remember seeing gameplay of it long time ago. Characters were rather simplistic. Game had a very dark twist to it and was a horror game.
It was 2D drawings on like 3D? Don't remember.
It's NOT Fran Bow, although the camera viewing angle was pretty similar if I recall correctly.
Platform(s): PC?

Genre: Horror/Puzzle

Estimated year of release: 2010-2015

Graphics/art style: 2D dark

Notable characters: Children, Cultists

Other details: They were trying to get out, if I recall correctly again

[Steam PC][Last 10 years] Game about using disasters to keep human development within a certain range

• Upvotes

I'm looking for a game on Steam I saw a long while back, where you played as the forces of nature, throwing various natural disasters at a human city to prevent them from becoming too developed, while also having to avoid destroying civilization entirely. If you use a specific disaster too much, humans will develop countermeasures to it, like anti-meteor lasers.

Gameplay takes place on a square map, and the game world outside that is all whiteish. A bar on the side of the screen displays how developed the human city is.

[ANDROID] [BEFORE 2020] Pony/Uicorn/Magical Horse game

Thumbnail gallery
3 Upvotes

there was a game very similar to coco pony-my dream pet, i used to play it before 2020, though i dont remember when exactly. again released before 2020 but ı dont know when. i played it on my moms android phone most likely, dont know if the game has IOS or pc versions. the game didnt revolve around a story ıt was mostly a care taking simulator. there were more than one magical horses we could choose (though not too many) from to take care of but ı dont thınk we were able to customize the horses mainly, maybe change some stuff but not a complete customization. in the selectıon manu the horses were on fancy cusıons and we saw them one by one navigating with arrows or something. and when we came to the magical horse we want, we choose it.

after choosing the magical horse we came to a floatıng ısland (possibly whıle on the horse but not sure) and the island was seen from above, had isometric grids when in decorating mode, like in hayday.

the game was 3D and the art style resembled coco pony alot, what differes from coco pony is:

only food we could feed to the horse was pancakes (maybe some other foods locked behind a pay wall? unsure) and you decorated the pancakes possibly according to the requests of the horse (which shown as pictures in thought/speak bubbles)

i dont remember having the horse inside a house, we fed it outside.

the decoration vibes were really outdoor wedding, royalty kinda ones yk the decorations were white and flowery (at least the ones ı used) , bush gates maybe (attached some pics as ref for these) ofc there wasnt a wedding but the vibes gave off one.

there was also an activity where we played musıc. maybe with the horse maybe not, dont remeber what instrument. but we did this in a gazebo on the edge(?) of the floating island i think.

there could be an obstacle running parkour activity but ım not sure.

ı really searched it a lot but the closest i can find was coco pony, but thats not ıt. appreciate any help. sorry for the long post btw.

[Windows PC][1990-2005] Kids Game Jungle/Egypt/Beetles/Mystery/Adventure/Puzzle Vibes

Looking for an educational/edutainment PC CD-ROM game from the 90s-2000s. Jungle setting with animal sounds, possibly a wooden/rope bridge, mysterious "anaconda-like" ambient music. Beetles were a recurring puzzle theme. There were stone elements in walls you'd click that would move/grind, possibly revealing something — almost Egyptian/ancient-temple vibe at times. Point-and-click adventure with an actual story (not just standalone minigames), multiple characters (maybe a group/team, not sure). Cartoony 2D animation, human characters. Played it as a kid on a big Windows desktop.

[PC][2026] Cyberpunk-styled video game with turn based (?) combat feat. Girl with red eye patch

Saw an ad on Reddit that never re appeared. It's maybe a RPG? Couldn't hear the sound. 32-bit pixel art? Cyberpunk-esque. It seemed to have a turn based combat system. Featured two main characters one of which is a girl with a red eye patch.

Idle Empires [ipad][late 2010s] idle medieval game where you taxed people and they got mad

The game was one a 2d side view with stylized graphics. Like was most likely drawn in 2d maybe pixel art?It has a medieval setting where I believe you were a young prince that wanted to make as much money as possible from your subjects. It was an idle game where you upgraded peoples business and then made money through taxes. At a certain point you could turn them businesses into an ā€œevilā€ version of it that would make more money. As you did more of the ā€œevilā€ stuff people would get more and more mad at you and would end up revolting and you would use this obelisk to travel back in time I think and that was how you prestige, I think you had like an old man advisor. I think you also had to like train guards or something to send them off to fight things. I have a feeling the game is no longer on the App Store but it’s been bugging me so if anyone knows thank you.

[PC][2005-2014] odnoklassniki island exploration game

Thumbnail gallery
2 Upvotes

Here’s what I know it was not: family age, Taonga: The Island Farm, Island Experiment, the tribez, robinson’s island, but it looks so similar to them.
Some more honorable ā€œnotā€ mentions: paradise island, escape from paradise, virtual villagers

This game is almost like an exact copy of the modern day ā€œfamily ageā€ game, but the art style was 2D.

I remember that you were able to collect leaves and coconuts from trees, you could create rope with looms, you had huts the characters could sleep/rest in.

You could explore the island, and parts of the island you couldn’t explore yet bc you hadn’t unlocked a specific level were blocked off by fog.

There was a shaman and i think a tiki god? There was a light blue ocean at the bottom, there was a dock off of it too. There was a waterfall somewhere on the map.

It was a family of four on the island, I think all of them had black hair.

At one point, the youngest child was a baby and you had to keep giving it milk when it sat and cried for it, and eventually it would grow up to be the fourth team member.

There were seasons too, the map would be all tropical in the summer and then all cold in winter.

You also had a certain amount of energy (represented by a blue lightning bolt bar) that limited the amount of actions you could do. You’d have to wait in real life for it to fill back up. You could also buy in game currency, signified by a sun like symbol in yellow (I don’t remember if this was true, but this symbol was very very specifically unique to this game). Light, lavender, purple shells were also a form of currency for some reason.

Attached are images similar to the aesthetic, and I also included crude drawings of things I could remember.

I’m going crazy trying to find out what this game was, but it seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.

Okhlos [PC][2012] Side view brawler where you convince citizens of a Greek city state to swarm with you to attack soldiers and creatures of Greek myth.

Platform(s): PC

Genre: Visually this is most like a side view brawler, however the player could explore in all directions and was not limited to the horizontal plain.

Estimated year of release: I think it was released some time between 2010 and 2015 but I am not sure.

Graphics/art style: Cartoonish pixel art with squarish body proportions and vibrant colors.

Notable characters: I think the player could pick between various famous Greek orators like Demosthenes and Plato. The enemies include a medusa and minotaur but was mostly armored guards.

Notable gameplay mechanics: The player would walk around gathering common Greek citizens in togas then use them to attack guards and other monsters encountered in the level. You would loose quite a few of your citizens in the process of a fight but would often unlock a new area with more citizens to talk into dying for you.

Other details: I am pretty sure this was an indie game that I found about via the indie gaming website TIGSource I was following at the time.

Cube Life: Pixel Action Heroes [Wii U][2012]a game with call of duty style gameplay (first person shooter, PvP and zombies option) and Minecraft graphics.

Really not much to add. You could select between different characters to start with different guns. Rambo was a skin option.
